Syftet med denna studie har varit att granska den forskning som fanns beskriven i vetenskapliga artiklar omkring de problem som uppstår och de upplevelser som kvinnan får vid insättning av Spiral. I en litteraturstudie valdes sju artiklar ut och deras vetenskaplighet studerades. Alla sju artiklarna var baserade på kvantitativa studier. Resultatet visade att smärta tillsammans med Spiralinsättning var mycket vanligt. Den kategori av kvinnor som upplevde mest smärta var de kvinnor som inte hade fött barn på det naturliga sättet.

When the Iron Spirals investigated in this paper saw the light again no one looked at them as nothing more than decoration. It was first during the 2011 excavation in Old Uppsala that the symbolism of the items no longer could be ignored. The Spirals of Old Uppsala lay along the walls of the great hall, which stood upon one of the human constructed plateaus in the area. The hall had been burned down and then cleared of all lumber. Then the iron Spirals had been placed in the positions and then everything was sealed with a layer of clay.A study of the artifact began with the purpose to contextualize and interpret the iron Spiral.

Tacit knowledge refers to the knowledge that is located inside individuals; it is not expressed or written like explicit knowledge. Inherently, tacit knowledge is often limited solely to one person and consequently individually based. Project based companies need to acknowledge the importance of transforming tacit knowledge into explicit in order to preserve the knowledge inside the organisation. If the knowledge is not transformed, there is a great risk of losing the knowledge when a key individual leaves the organization.One way of transforming the tacit knowledge is through Nonaka?s and Takeuchi?s knowledge Spiral.

The purpose of this study was to look for tendencies that social media can contribute to exposing users to a stronger perception of opinion polarization, and further to see if the daily presence of social networking sites can put normative pressure on the users. The study was made using a survey with participants from Umea? University during the time frame of november-december 2014. The theoretical framework behind the study was mainly drawn from The Spiral Of Silence by Elisabeth Noelle-Neumann and was further supplemented with more current research, studying the effects from The Spiral Of Silence in the modern and more fragmented media landscape that exists now then when her theory was written. Further theoretical tools for analysis of the results came from Michel Foucault and his discussions in Discipline and punish, specifically his views on how surveillance can be discontinous in practice, but still permanent in it?s effects.The results of this study indicates that social media users tend to isolate themselves from uncomfortable opinions, and do not follow or read opinions they do not already agree with.

I detta arbete har CFD tillämpats för att simulera flödet i ett vattenkraftverk. CFD är en numerisk beräkningsmetod för simulering av strömningsprocesser. Flödet i ett vattenkraftverk är turbulent och icke- stationärt, vilket gör simuleringarna till en utmanande uppgift. Syftet var att simulera flödet genom inloppstuben och Spiralen i en modell av Hölleforsens turbin. För undersöka hur simuleringarna bör utformas, var syftet också att simulera ett testfall med turbulent rörströmning.

Title: The key to the positive Spiral - A study of musicians views of their practicing. The purpose with this paper is to make clear how continuous practicing on one element affects not just the specific part but also other things. Is it possible to find a positive Spiral where everything can be better if you focus your practicing on one thing? Can this element if it is done daily in a qualitative way transform to a key which will help you to unlock the door to the positive Spiral? Are there more keys to find? I am going to reflect my ideas in this paper through a philosophical, psychological and the brain sciences perspective. Quality in action is going to be compared with the quality that you need to set a successful goal, and to reach the state of mind called flow you will need both these qualities.

Medicinering vid sjukdomstillstånd i det främre segmentet av ögat hos häst är ofta tidskrävande och komplicerat för djurägaren. Syftet med studien var att undersöka om ett nytt tekniskt hjälpmedel, en Spiral som kallas OphthaCoil, fungerar för långtidsmedicinering hos häst. Två olika designer på Spiraler utvärderades. Efter en ögonundersökning placerades en Spiral i nedre konjunktivalsäcken och hästen observerades till dess Spiralen trillade ur. Resultaten visar att ingen av de använda designerna låg kvar tillräckligt länge för att kunna användas för en längre tids behandling.

Spiralanvändning tycks öka i yngre åldersgrupper och hormonSpiral föreslås allt oftare till kvinnor sominte har varit gravida (nollgravida). Den kliniska erfarenheten av Spiralinsättning i denna grupp ärbegränsad och det saknas vetenskapligt underlag avseende behov av och vilken typ av premedicineringsom är adekvat. Syftet med denna studie var att utvärdera smärtupplevelsen vid Spiralinsättning hosnollgravida i förhållande till given premedicinering samt att utvärdera vilken premedicinering som gavbäst effekt vid Spiralinsättning hos nollgravida kvinnor. Metoden var en kvantitativ och deskriptivobservations- och tvärsnittstudie. Denna utfördes som ett led i vårdutveckling inom primärvården i SödraBohuslän.

This study analyzes the implications of one type of external forces in aid-focused NGOs through two qualitative case studies where it is investigated if Sida?s reporting requirements have the intended effects: learning and control using a theoretical framework where it is recognised that the requirements may also result in dysfunctional behaviour: decoupling and colonisation. The study shows that when the demands are the result of institutional pressure rather than an ambition to generate learning and control, the demands tend to be unrealistic and the NGOs therefore decouple the formal fulfilment of the demands from the actual activities. It is argued that a partnership, which incorporates trust and dialogue, is a prerequisite, not only for learning, but also control.

Abstract We have chosen to figure out why a majority in a home-help service group in west of Sweden is, or has been sick-listed. The purpose with our work has been to investigate our area to be able to come up with different factors which can have contributed to the high numbers of this particular group. We have worked with qualitative method and conversation-interviews to be able to answer our purpose at the best way. We had separate interviews with the ten employees at their work and these interviews we chose to record with a computer. The result we got were that the group had existed for about four years and since then, they have had several different directors.

Sammanfattning:Bakgrund och syfte: Att ha struktur i vardagen är viktigt för personer med psykiska funktionshinder men de har ofta problem att skapa och bibehålla både en yttre och inre struktur. Trots att struktur är ett vanligt arbetsområde för arbetsterapeuter inom psykiatrisk verksamhet i Sverige, saknas det forskning som undersöker arbetsterapeutiska interventioner med syfte att främja struktur för personer med psykiska funktionshinder. Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva arbetsterapeuters erfarenheter av arbete med struktur i vardagen för personer med psykiska funktionshinder.Metod: En kvalitativ intervjustudie valdes för att besvara syftet. Åtta arbetsterapeuter verksamma inom allmänpsykiatrin i ett svenskt län intervjuades utifrån en halvstrukturerad intervjuguide. All data från intervjuerna bearbetades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys, vilket resulterade i sju kategorier med ett övergripande tema ? Aktivitet förutsätter struktur.
