Purpose: The aim of the study is to analyse why the Socialworker at the socialservices havn?t implemented the perspective of woman as subordinate and men as superior.Questions: Is the perspective of woman as subordinate and men as superior significant for the Socialworker? Is the organisation, colleagues or de individuals thought structure of importance when it comes to implement the perspective? Does the Socialworkers view of the clients as victims have an impact on the fact that the perspective has been given interest? Method: Critical case study. Flexible design; The study is based on interviews with Socialworkers and study of documents and statisticsConclusion: One of the central findings of the field study was that the implementation of the perspective of woman as subordinate and men as superior was of no use for the Socialworkers as they saw it. The findings showed that the definition of a victim was not used or that they were unconscious that the definition of a victim did affect them in their work. The possibilities for the organisation to learn is of  importance for the implementation of the perspective of woman as subordinate and men as superior.

The purpose of this essay was to investigate Socialworker's perception of threats and violence in their daily work from the perspective of power. In order to obtain as clear and distinct responses as possible, I used qualitative interviews for this study. The respondents represent a "socialförvaltning" that handles financial assistance in a medium-sized city. This department was chosen because the Socialworkers that handle financial assistance at this department have been identified by the media as particularly vulnerable. The study showed that verbal threats are commonplace but physical violence is rare.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka socialsekreterarnas arbete med att följa upp det familjehemsplacerade barnet, vårdnadshavarna och familjehemmet. För att besvara undersökningens syfte användes kvalitativ metod. Studien grundade sig på intervjuer med fyra barnhandläggare och fyra familjehemsekreterare som arbetar inom åtta olika kommuner. I tidigare forskning framkom att socialtjänsten brister i sin uppföljning av det familjehemsplacerade barnet, vårdnadshavarna och familjehemmet. För att understryka socialnämndens ansvar under pågående familjehemsplacering har regeringen infört detaljerade bestämmelser i 5 kap 1b § Socialtjänstförordningen.

Family centres are established to serve families with children and the personnel usually consists of units of social-workers, preschool staff, paediatric nurses and midwives. The purpose of the study was to examine the social-workers preventive work with families at the family centre. To fulfil the purpose, a qualitative interview with five social-workers was conducted. The theoretical framework referred to attachment and empowerment theory. The results of the study showed that the main part of the work consists of giving advice and support to parents.

 The aim of this study was to examine how social workers perceive and interpret the term ?barnets bästa? (?The best for the child?), within the framework of investigatory work and enforcement of Swedish law, which is carried out by the Social Services. We wanted to investigate if the interpretation of the term had any causal effects on the work carried out by social workers. Seven social workers from two municipalities participated in this study in which we used qualitative semi-structured interviews based around two vignettes. We focused on age, experience, legislation, and external circumstances to gain insight into how these factors alter social workers? perception of the term ?barnets bästa?. Our theoretical approach was based on two theories on social constructivism.

The purpose of our paper was to understand the motivators that kept the social workers within the profession. Social workers' have a profession that, to the greatest extent, means high working load and difficult problematic issues. On the basis of this starting point we asked us why so many social workers still choose to remain within the profession for several years. The purpose of our paper is to understand what motivates the social workers to stay within their profession. To understand which are the motivators, we decided to use the theory salutogeent perspective with Aaron Antonvsky's sense of coherence.

The main purpose of this paper is to describe and analyse how social worker on a specific Social Service Agency describe their experiences. My focus has been to concentrate on social worker, whose task is related to young people. The paper is presented from three different themes; work assignments, professional roles and projects in life. The central questions are; Which are the Socialworker´s main tasks? Research has shown that the power and inequality in the relation between helper andperson being helped is needed for the helper to provide help. Power is often mentioned undernegative circumstances such as social workers abuse of their power position, violating theperson being helped. However, Michel Foucault suggests that power is something neutral thatexists in every social interaction. The negative aspects of power are effects of the parties notreaching agreement.

Our aim with this study is to explore Socialworkers perception of what is a good treatment is and how to establish good relationship with their clients. We have decided to limit our study with social workers in Economic assistance and Abuse Units in social servises and explore if we can discern any differences between the units. We have chosen to use qualitative methods to achieve the aim of this study. We interviewed a total of seven social workers, of which three were from Abuse unit and four were from Economic assistance unit. One of the theoretical frame we have used is Goffmans (1970, 1974) theories about social interaction in which he explains the social encounter between social workers and clients.
