In this Master thesis, microwave connections between circuit boards are constructed. The primary frequency band is the X-band (8-12 GHz). The purpose of the connections is to enable a more simple and cheaper way of mounting the circuit boards inside a container. The connections have been designed and evaluated, using different computer programs. A few prototypes have been built and measured.

This thesis is based on a case study of the City of Stockholm. The study aims to explore the effects on the city's large investments caused by the public reform. Furthermore, the question concerns the character of the impact and if it will affect what type of investments that will be prioritized. The theoretical background is based on Brunsson's ideas about political organizations Shifting towards corporate nature, and Almqvist's interpretation of New Public Management (NPM). Moreover, models explaining public management reform, and the main components of corporate Shifting, are used.

I have analysed the use of portamenti by violinists Janine Jansen, Itzhak Perlman, Jascha Heifetz and Nathan Milstein in the first 8 bars and the two parallel phrases of the Max Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor. I have copied their portamenti and recorded myself performing theese phrases in style of each violinist. By doing this I have learnt new ways to use Shifting on the violin for expressive purposes and realized how much there is to learn by imitating your predecessor..

The purpose of the thesis is to see how Turkish students understand their bilingualism. I have tried to explain bilingualism as a phenomenon and give an insight in national steering documents on the basis of different concepts used by researchers.The method consists of qualitative interviews with standardized character. Five upper-secondary school students participated and independently discussed the answers.The result from the interviews is the participators view on bilingualism. The answers were varying. I have got the answer of my question through the interviews and researches.

Both contemporary research in History of Religions and current public debate tell us that Christianity as a religious form is challenged in today?s society. Nevertheless, Christianity is often present in secular artistic expression such as fictional literature. The purpose of this paper is to examine how God is portrayed in two late-modern Swedish novels, Djävulen och Gud by Mare Kandre (1993) and Boken by Niklas Rådström (2013).The examination is based on a hermeneutic method using close reading in order to answer the questions asked. The result of the examination shows that God in the late-modern novels is portrayed as a figure with Shifting emotions, and in both novels God goes through changes which are in some ways similar.
