Självmord : en forskningsöversikt
Suicide is the ultimate outcome of mental illness and is a big and serious problem in society. About 1500 persons commit every year suicide in Sweden and many more engage in suicidal behaviour. This review aims at, from research studies from the 21th century, find out the knowledge of Riskfactors regarding the risk for committing suicide among adolescents. The research questions are: What does research say, from a psychobiological perspective, about Riskfactors among adolescents regarding the risk for suicidal behaviour? How much does genetic factors have an effect on the risk for suicidal behaviour among adolescents? and : What is the importance of environmental factors such as family connections, friends and school environment concerning suicidal thoughts among adolescents?The method that is used in order to answer these questions is a researchreview including ten research-studies.
Kunskaper om, och erfarenheter av munhålecancer hos tandhygienister i Sydöstra Sverige - en enkätstudie
Year 2004 nearly 1000 new cases of oral cancer were diagnosed in Sweden. An early discovery increases the chances for survival remarkably. The dental profession has an important role in detecting oral cancer. Considering that dental hygienists probably will have a greater responsibility in the future when it comes to examinations, knowledge of oral cancer will be important for this profession. The aim of this study was to examine the dental hygienists knowledge of Oral Cancer in the county of Blekinge, Kalmar and Kronoberg, as well as their experiences in detecting oral cancer.

Background and aims: The population of older people in our society is increasing. Agerelated changes in the skin results in a diminished perception of pain and pressure and a decreased microcirculation in the skin affects its ability to adapt to injury. Occurrence of pressure sore on geriatrikal clinics are 5-10%, witch means that between five and ten thousand patients gets daily treat for pressure sores. When the patient gets a pressure sore the need for help increases. A common apprehension is that if the patient?s affects with pressure sores it?s because of deficiency in care.

The exposed position of a social worker entails serious demands to their working environment. The experience of the working environment is coherent with various circumstances such as physical, technical and psychosocial factors. The aim of this study is to investigate how social workers in Gotland experience their psychosocial working environment. As a theoretical ground we describe the working environment regulations and it´s framework. Previous national and international research enlighten issues such as definitions of threat and violence, the significance of education and policys within social work, social support and Riskfactors.
Synstörning vid fall och fallskador En registrering av det dokumenterade
Falls and fallinjuries are very common in peoples own homes in various institutions. Hospital inpatients often fall during daytime in connection with their visit to the toilet. Visual impairment such as cataract, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy can cause falls. The purpose of this study was to examine patient´s records where falls and fallinjuries were documented at an emergency clinic and to examine if they were registered to visual impairment. The records from 68 hospital inpatients from the age of 65 years and older who did fall during the year of 2004, were examined.

Rådgivning kring levnadsvanor i primärvården : Enkätstudie bland distrikts-och sjuksköterskor
Bakgrund: Ohälsosamma levnadsvanor är ett folkhälsoproblem och står för en femtedel av den totala sjukdomsbördan i Sverige. Var annan kvinna och var tredje man i åldrarna 16-84 år rapporterar att de inte har några ohälsosamma levnadsvanor. (Socialstyrelsen, 2011; Folkhälsomyndigheten, 2014). De flesta distriktssköterskor och sjuksköterskor i den svenska primärvården tycker att det är viktigt att arbeta med patienternas levnadsvanor, de tycker även att arbetet behöver utvecklas (Kardakis, Weinehall, Jerdén, Nyström & Johansson, 2013).Syfte: Att undersöka i vilken utsträckning distriktssköterskor och sjuksköterskor arbetar med rådgivning om levnadsvanor till patienter i primärvården. Syftet är också att undersöka hur de skulle vilja arbeta, vilken kunskap de tycker sig ha och om de anser att de behöver ytterligare kunskap om rådgivning kring levnadsvanor.Metod: En totalundersökning gjordes där samtliga distriktssköterskor och sjuksköterskor verksamma inom primärvårdens vårdcentraler i föreliggande landsting inkluderades i studien.
