Today?s environmental discussions have led to more progress in the different transportareas. To ride a bicycle is often one of the most efficient alternative when it comes totransport. An Electric bike is, and makes transportation more efficient than a regularbicycle. Electric bicycles do not affect the environment significantly and allows moreconvenient transportation than ordinary bicycles do.

En ökad miljömedvetenhet och högre klimatmål världen över, ställer allt större krav på nyutvecklad teknik. Ett stort fokus ligger därför på energieffektivitet där transportfordon påverkas i stor utsträckning. Med detta växer miljöfordonsflottan och tekniska lösningar för att reducera miljöbelastningen har utvecklats, där inte endast motorernas energieffektivitet högaktas. Tekniska lösningar med exempelvis energiregenererande bromsar där bromsenergi tillvaratas, vilken annars endast bildar värme, finns redan. Forskning om energiregenererande tekniska lösningar anses därför avgörande vid ett högt uppsatt energimål för miljöfordon.

Since 1993 the Swedish Forestry Administration conducts a nation-wide inventory of wood-land key habitats covering all forest land in Sweden. The inventory aims at mapping and describing habitats where redlisted species occur or can be expected to occur. According to the inventory stand history is crucial to the presence of red-listed species. However, the current knowledge of stand history in woodland key habitats is very limited. The purpose of this work is to describe stand history in woodland key habitats, i.e. fire history, human activities - mainly cuttings - and structural changes.
