Hand Raising is a common method in schools and a way for students to engage in the classrooms turn-allocation (Andersson & Haglund 2006, p 35), but not all benefit from it. According to Dylan Wiliam (2011) hand Raising divides the students by putting the students that participate in hand Raising at an advantage versus the students that do not. This study aims to examine hand Raising as a phenomenon and the students and teachers thoughts about hand Raising. The main research questions were:How do the students perceive hand Raising?How do the teachers reflect upon hand Raising?How is hand Raising usedas a tool by the students?The main reference to this study has been senior lecture Fritjof Sahlströms (1999) thesis Up the Hill Backwards.

This study will focus on the fund Raising market and what characteristics that can be found in marketing in this market. The donations to fund Raising organizations has increased lately and therefore we found it interesting to study how their marketing has developed over time and what risks that can be found. ABSTRACTThe aim of this study was to ascertain whether there was any interest among dental hygienists, Raising their level of competence throught attending additional courses or gaining further qualifications. The study was carried out by sending out two-hundred questionarires to randomly chosen dental hygienists. After one remainder come the answer frequency up to 66%. This thesis concerns the feminist consciousness-Raising novel of the 1970s. The aim of the thesis is to examine narrative strategies which, according to the consciousness-Raising practice, are adapted to enlighten the political aspects of the personal. The focus is both on strategies that address the protagonist and on those that address the reader. I also examine in which way the use of these strategies is dependent upon ideas of class and gender.I find that the narrative situation, in this case the relationship between the protagonist and the narrator, is central to the use of the consciousness-Raising narrative strategies. Various studies in the literature have indicated different results of the effect of changing the hoof angle on the movement of the distal limb. Our study investigated the effect of Raising the heel of the forelimbs by 10,7 mm on the movement of the distal limb. Horses trotted on a treadmill at several predetermined speeds. The kinematics of the distal limb was determined and variables including the extension of the fetlock joint were determined.

The aim of the study was to investigate how new arrivals are being informed of Swedish laws and regulations relating to child rearing and corporal punishment. In this qualitative study four men involved in feminist organizations were interviewed about their views on women, men, sex and feminism. Theories of language, psychoanalysis and ethics were utilized to further our understanding of the material these men produce in their effort to define themselves. Our object of study is the text, which we believe holds the key to understanding how an individual shapes his world and himself. The result is our interpretation of the text and its underlying mechanics.

The main purpose of this study is to investigate how to reduce the high, and every decade Raising, pre-clearance cost. Half of Sweden?s 140 000-150 000 sows are culled and replaced by 75 000 gilts annually. Culling of old sows is necessary and allows new breeding material to enter the herd. However, many of the culled sows are young, and have not yet become profitable at the time for culling. Therefore, it is an important question for the pig industry, how to raise gilts to sows with a high and sustainable production level.
