Today there is a limited demand for quality certified cereal in Sweden. The demand can in the future increase and become a requirement for the entire market. Since the first of January 2005, grain Producers in Sweden are food Producers and traceability is important for the food industry. It is possible for grain Producers to certify the productions under the certification IP SIGILL. The purpose of this essay is to explore why some grain Producers continue to be certified while other Producers end the IP SIGILL certification.

This study compare if there is any differences between Fairtrade certified and uncertified coffee Producers in Aceh Tengah, Indonesia. The aim was to compare the way the two groups of farmers produces their coffee and see if there were any differences between them, income, post harvest, production etc. During a visit in the district of Aceh Tengah, Producers from both groups were given a questionnaire with questions about their farm and their production. The results of the questionnaires showed that the certified Producers felt they had benefits being a part of a certified cooperative. Even with the experienced benefits the certified cooperatives gave the connected Producers, like agronomy consultation and workshops the uncertified Producers had a higher income from the coffee per hectare. The purpose of this essay was to try to find out if the optimal farrowing pen exists. By interviewing Producers, veterinarians and salesmen and also through a literature study, I have tried to evaluate advantages and disadvantages regarding different types of pen formations and environmental details. The interviews with the Producers showed that they all were satisfied with their particular farrowing pen. It also showed that one material can be functional in one farrowing pen but not in another. The determining factor for the outcome of the farrowing pen was the individual experience and the way of thinking of the Producers. The veterinarians were of the opinion that there today were no existing farrowing pens that responded to the pigs needs. However, the results on the farms were generally good. The salesmen thought that the production costs could be lower if a sort of a standard pen was used.

Indications on poor understanding for the animal Producers situation from the inspectors of animal welfare control have been seen in papers from farmers interest organizations. The aim of this study was to investigate what farmers view is on the animal welfare inspections done by regional Swedish authorities as well as the animal welfare inspectors work. The main focus in the report was the utilization rate of the forage and the excess of nutrients per kg egg.
