Passivhuset i det långa loppet : - hur påverkar brukarens kunskap energiförbrukningen?

The scope of this investigation is to decide how and to what extent the energy consumption of aPassive house is affected by the users? knowledge and habits. To achieve this a literary study hasbeen made and as a complement the planning of a Passive house was completed. The result of a primary study of the rules and regulations that effect Passive houses in Swedenshows that the user?s influence on Passive houses is a completely unregulated area. Even thoughthere is no regulation, a need for some general knowledge of the Passive house concept has beenexpressed. To further investigate how the users? knowledge and habits affect the energy consumption and ifthere is a difference between different households? energy consumption , three main factors havebeen identified.

Studium av stomsystem och övrigt klimatskal m.a.p. produktion och långsiktig förvaltning av passivhus

The Passive house concept has been known for many years, but it is not yet verywell known in Sweden. The increased energy requirements places greaterdemands on our buildings and to meet these requirements, Passive houses is agood option.Svenska Bostäder have built Passive houses with good results and intend tocontinue design some of their new buildings as Passive houses. This study ismeant to support Svenska Bostäder in their planning of new buildings byanalyze and compare the different frameworks and building shells of Passivehouses. In the first chapters (1,2 and 3) we presents the conditions for Passive housesand the differing objects we have examined more generally for the reader tobecome familiar with the concept and the objects. The subsequent chapter presents an analysis of each object partial based on thespecifications from FEBY and finally, in Chapter 5, you will find a table ofvalues where the objects are put into relation to each other and valued there by,together with a brief explanation for the table. This chapter also contains texts on the environment, design and futuredevelopment which all includes our own thoughts and reflections. Finally, the gist of the whole work and our conclusion is presented anddiscussed. On the whole, the work has been very enlightening for us and we hope that theconcept of Passive houses have a wider impact in the future..

sustainable development by reducing the energy use by EU:s directive of energy efficiency and the UN Convention. The second purpose is to present the technical solutions regarding ventilation and heating system that is being used in Passive houses. This was done using 8 Passive houses, 4 germany and 4 swedish Passive houses. Even the international and Swedish system requirements for Passive houses have been addressed in this project. The goal was also to explain how and why the mechanical system in Passive houses has developed to the technology used today.

Passivhus vid polcirkeln : Fungerar det?

This report is the product of the course AF101X, a bachelors degree in Samhällsbyggnad atKTH. The task of the course is to design a small house at a given location and also implement adeepening study. The house in this report is located in Kiruna in the north of Sweden, where theclimate is much colder than in the rest of the country. The deepening study of this report is to evaluates how realistic Passive housing north of thePolar Circle is based on those facts. The house will to some extent be designed to fit the Passivehousing standard.

The study concludes that employees in general perceive that Passive face time does influence how they are evaluated and that this perception motivates employees that are relatively newly employed by the company to spend more time at office..

Passiva lantbrukare ? en effekt av EU:s jordbrukspolitik : en studie av ett antal faktorers påverkan på svenska passiva lantbrukares attityder till markanvändning och EU:s jordbrukspolitik

The problem with Passive farmers has arised as an effect of the European Union´s common agricultural policy (CAP) and the decouplement from production-based payments. Payments to Passive farmers contradict the purpose of the single payment scheme and constitute a great cost for the EU. The new contractual period after 2013 has given rise to discussions on the direction of the CAP with a purpose of increasing the efficiency of the single payment scheme, and reducing Passive farming. The aim of the study is to increase the knowledge about a few factors? influence on Passive farmers? attitudes towards land use and the CAP.

Passivhus ? lönsamhet och komfort

In this essay, we have compared a conventional house to a Passive house. The housesshared the same local conditions; they have the same living area and the same layout. Thedifferences between the houses were the different construction solutions for the roof, theouter walls, the floor and the heating system. Both the houses qualify the standards fromBBR and the Passive house also lives up to FEBY?s special conditions. The purpose with the essay was to examine if it really is profitable to build small hoses asPassive houses.

Förskolor med passivhusteknik : En utredning av passiva förskolor

As a result of directives from EU, with the ambition to reach environmetal goals, The German organisation Passivhaus Institut has defined a Passive house. A Passive house is a building that is very energy efficient and makes a small impact on the environment. The energy from the inhabitants as well as the appliances & fixtures in the building should equal the energy that is required to heat the building. A Swedish version of the Passive house definition has been defined, taking into account the climate conditions and the difference in building regulations. This thesis is a request from Skanska on how it can improve and develop an ongoing Passive house project, involving an infant school. The intention of this thesis is to identify difficulties & display potential development areas for infant schools. The method of research conducted is as follows: interviews of clients, ventilation consultant, consultant for heating system and an energy calculation consultant, an inspection of the infant shcool in process, investigation of completed infant schools and a study of relevant literature. From this research it was found that it is difficult for infant schools to pass the criteria for Passive houses. The conclusion of this thesis provide several guidelines on how to improve the outcome of existing projects & the steps needed to be taken for future development in this area..

Personlighetstyper och stressrespons hos djur ? med fokus på hund och häst

Animals living in captivity are often subjected to various kinds of stress. Individuals within species can respond differently to the same stressor depending on differences in coping style and physiology. Active and Passive coping is a common way to describe different coping styles in animals and it is likely that these strategies have a high heritability. Individuals with an active coping style are characterized by an urge of control and a higher level of aggression than individuals with Passive coping style, who in general are more flexible and respond to stress by immobilisation to a greater extent. The aim of this bachelor?s thesis is to investigate the presence of different coping styles and personality types in dogs (Canis lupus familiaris) and horses (Equus ferus caballus) and to find fields of application for this information.

Projektering av ett småhus med fördjupning i uppvärmningssystem

This report aims to examine the design of a Passive house. The design addresses the selection ofmaterial, sizing and selection of both building services systems and building technical features suchas load-bearing framework and moisture control. Interior layout is designed for a family of twoadults and one child.A big part of the report is devoted to an in-depth comparison of three different wall constructions ofPassive house standard. The structures that have been compared are a lightweight timber structure, aheavier concrete structure and a sandwich wall of the brand Weber Leca. The report covers variousaspects such as air flow, wall thickness, the risks associated with the construction, U-value, thermalbridges, power consumption, price, and assembly costs.

Redesign of an existing apartment block in Kv Preussen to passive house

Passive houses are a relatively new concept in Sweden and by that it is meant a house without a traditional heating system. The most acknowledged Passive house project is the terrace houses in Lindås, Gothenburg, which we have used as a reference. This project concerns a square apartment block. So far, no square apartment block has been built as a Passive house in Sweden. The common opinion in the construction industry is that it is not economical to build extremely energy efficient houses. With Peab as commissioner our task was to investigate if that is true, if regarding the construction of a multi storey house as a Passive houseMidroc, now owned by Peab, constructed in the block of Preussen in Jönköping during 2004-2005 four houses, with 132 apartments distributed on seven floors.

Utvärdering av befintliga passivhus : En byggnadsfysikalisk bedömning och mätningar om temperatur, och fukt analys på ytterväggarna

Energy price are on the way up to a high level that will not diminish in the future make us to focus more on the sustainable development for a better solution of residential houses. Passive house or low energy housing are one of the solution to make residential more environment friendly, in same time it´s a financial security using less energy, and saving money. The last 10 years in Germany and all around Europe the concept of Passive house been developed, and people aim to know more about these concept that leading the market more attractive for Passive houses. A Passive house is a well designed building highly insulated and air tight with mechanical ventilated system for the whole building envelope that minimizes the use of energy for heating [1].The housing company Mimer has chosen to invest in low energy consumption in every new housing project.  These future plan projects are decided to use less than 75 kwh per square meter annually in purchased energy [2].This thesis is about new constructed Passive houses, and focuses on the evaluations of the temperature, and moisture condition for attic, external walls and joist.

Personlighetens inverkan på aktivt och passivt jobbsökande, karriärambition och arbetstillfredställelse

Previous research has focused limited attention on how personality affects job search for university educated people in work and no studies have focused on the difference between active and Passive job seekers. This survey-based study that examined university educated economists and engineers with 5-25 years of experience, showed that career ambition mediated active job search for the personality dimensions of openness, agreeableness and extraversion and also gave clear evidence that active job seekers have lower levels of job satisfaction, and higher levels of career ambition, agreeableness and extraversion, compared with Passive job seekers. These findings provide a more nuanced picture of the impact of different recruitment strategies and provide a starting point for in-depth studies on Passive job seekers.
