Lagerprogram för Satellitlager

Texo Application has created robots that they call for satellites; with these you can feed in storage Pallets into a satellite storage. Satellite storages consist of channels in height (e.g.3 to 8 pieces) and width (e.g.3 to 100 pieces). Channels can be different long (e.g. 5 to 200 Pallets). At deposit of a storage Pallet the truck insert the satellite in a channel and then the Pallet, the Pallet is driven into the channel until it reaches another Pallet or the other end.

This thesis was conducted at AB Fredr Wagner in Ösmo in Nynäshamn, Sweden.AB Fredr Wagner provides solutions for the graphic industry and has been asked by acustomer to develop a product that can simplify handling of EUR-Pallets, namely amechanical arrangement, further called Pallet exchanger that can switch from anempty Pallet to a fully loaded one using only hand force.The goal with the thesis was to create design documents for a Pallet exchanger, andalso from those documents to manufacture a prototype for testing and evaluation.A field trip was made to the customer, IKAB mailing in Huddinge, where the Palletexchanger is thought to be placed. The purpose of this field trip was to get an insightinto the current work condition and need of change, as well as to gather informationregarding the requirements when it comes to size and robustness of the Palletexchanger. Existing equipment on the market that can perform similar tasks werestudied in order to find an optimal solution for the actual Pallet exchanger.After the field trip and gathering of information the concept generating phase began.The method used for generating concepts was brainstorming. To decide on whichconcept to use, a concept selection matrix was created. The selection criteriaincluded in the matrix came from the requirements for the Pallet exchanger.

Pallhantering på Findus - Flöden , problematik och alternativ

The purpose of my task was to map the Pallet flows at Findus and put together as well as analyze the problems. My work has also included finding out what alternatives there are to the present Pallet exchange system and suggest measures to reduce the problems.The problems can be divided into poor quality and hygiene issues. The poor quality, for instance poor strength is due to arbitrary judgements and the fact that there are companies that make a system of manufacturing forged Pallets of an inferior quality compared to the EUR-Pallets. These Pallets are marked with stamps more or less similar to the EUR-mark and taken into the exchange system. Of course there are rules how to judge a Pallet but these rules are many and sometimes indistinct and there are a lot of marks to keep track of.The most dangerous part is when the Pallets lack the prescribed carrying capacity.

The current situation poses numerous heavy liftswhen the tires are handled and therefore is hurting the workers.This thesis has been aiming at helping the GBD-Storage Systems by developing a concept of howan accessory to counterbalanced trucks can be designed to cope with the wheels. This concept willthen be produced as prototype by the company.

POP UPP Café, med skoven som nabo och Pallet Pavilion : en studie av tillfällig landskapsarkitektur i staden

Av tradition förknippas landskapsarkitektur med permanenta lösningar, men under de senaste åren har den tillfälliga landskapsarkitekturen fått allt större genomslagskraft världen över. Projektens syfte, upphovsmakare, utformning, tidsspann, skala och inverkan varierar. Syftet med denna uppsats är att identifiera vad begreppet tillfällig landskapsarkitektur är samt analysera hur sådan arkitektur kan inverka på människor och städer. Tre projekt valdes ut som exempel att studera: POP UPP Café i Uppsala, Med skoven som nabo i Århus och Pallet Pavilion i Christchurch. En studie av projektens utformning och den respons de fick exemplifierar den tillfälliga landskapsarkitekturens uttryck och varierande inverkan beroende på plats, tid, sammanhang och brukare.

Many companies presume that any certain project will succeed, a presumption that leads companies not to anticipate risks involved in a project. In companies today there is seldom time for evaluation or moderation of a project, in order to have time for evaluation there is a great need for an adequate planning of the project.IntentThe intention with this study is to create a model for planning, budgeting and evaluation of projects within consultancy companies.MethodWith the help of interviews and discussions within the group Hamnar och Byggkonstruktioner at Sweco has evidence to present a proposal on planning, budgeting and monitoring been developed.ResultsA model has been developed to ease for consultancy companies to plan, budget, monitor and evaluate projects.

AUTOMATISERING AV PAKETERINGSPROCESS

The aim of this thesis is to investigate if an automation of the manual packaging process at Legosan AB is profitable. Legosan AB, located in Kumla, performs subcontract work of dietary supplements and medical products to companies within Europe. The chapterportal robot is used in the other. As there are several options in the choice of packaging robot the suggestions of improvement are divided into two different designs. Other machines and equipment necessary for the different suggestions of improvement are showed and their measurements are presented.
