This examination work is about an marketing investigation of John Deere Moco 730/735 during the season year 2003. Moco 730 has an workingwidth on 3 m, and 735 has one with 3,5 m. The research results of 16 moco 730/735 are from intervju- and questionnaire made of the owners. The results also comes from intervju anwser from dealers which sold this mocos. The examination work shows comments and opinions from the customer after one seasons use. In the end of my examination work are all comments and opinions put together in a marketing analysis called swot-analys in Swedish. The analysis declare that the moco 730/735 is functional and have god quality. The future seems god for this kind of moco. The strength for this moco are god quality and the dealers god service support. The most important weakness about this moco are that the machine came out late on the market, compared to other mocos on the market. I think it´s important the have in mind that the customers are very John Deere faithful and this JD 730/735 is used for only one season..

Modern agriculture equipment are more computer based today, and many equipments use a terminal in the tractor where the driver have the opportunity to make adjustments to the equipment. This is the reason why ISO developed a new standard called ISOBUS. It is a communication standard based on CAN specially adapted for griculture equipments. The purpose of the standard is that it should be ossible to equip a tractor with a standard terminal called Virtual Terminal that can be used to control the equipment. The use of the terminal should be independent of the manufacturer of the tractor as well as of the equipment.The purpose of this report is to ?nd a solution of how to use CC Systems on-board computer, CCP XS, as a Virtual Terminal.

Costs of maintenance on combines are a subject of interest thus it constitute a large investment and cost for the individual farmer. Therefore it is important to have up to date knowledge and the right facts to be able to do reliable calculations on one of the largest investments for a farmer. The aim of this study was to compare costs of maintenance on combine/threshingmachine with the computer program for advising environmental issues in agriculture, STANK. Interviews took place and data were collected by handing out questionnaires to 20 farmers. A similar study conducted by Neuman (2003) investigated costs of maintenance and compared these with STANK. The results of this study have also been compared and examined related to data from SLA - Skogs och Lantarbetsgivarförbundet. The result shows that 18 out of 20 combines were given a higher cost of maintenance when using STANK compared to the numbers in this study.

The background to this paper is the fact that many products are demonstrated to show the consumer value of the product. This is generally the fact when it comes to agricultural products, such as tractors. The growing number of models makes this even more import for the retailer to perform a demonstration that really catches the interest of a prospect customer. One problem is that these demonstrations are expensive and many small retailers have difficulties to afford demonstrations of every model. Together with Åhmans Traktorcentrum AB a market investigation was conducted. The company has its primary sales area in the region of Östergötland and north part of Småland. Åhmans Traktorcentrum AB is a John Deere dealer.

In the town of Väderstad which lies in the middle of Sweden, called Östergötland is Väderstad-Verken situated. It´s an international company which produce machines for land processing and sown to farmers all over the world. Väderstad-Verken is an expansive company with 750 employees. The turnover is 1.4 billion sek. Rapid seed-sower has become a popular machine since it was introduced in 1991.

Olaer är ett bolag som utvecklar, tillverkar och marknadsför oljekylarsystem. Bolaget startades 1957 i Frankrike med engelska finansiärer. Sedan starten 1957 har företaget blivit en global koncern. Idag är företaget representerat i fem kontinenter. Deras kylarsystem är applicerade i fyra olika branscher, industri, anläggning- och Jordbruksmaskiner, energi och, olja och gas.

Denna rapport är resultatet av ett examensarbete vid Linköpings Universitet och utförts på uppdrag av Väderstad Verken AB.Väderstad Verken AB, som är en ledande tillverkare inom Jordbruksmaskiner, har ända sedan starten 1962 ansett att kvaliteten varit mycket viktig. Under den vikande konjunkturen tog företaget tillfället i akt och genomförde en omorganisation av produktionsområdet. Manuellsvetsarna, som tidigare tillhörde den monteringslina som de försörjde med komponenter, bildade efter omorganisationen ett helt nytt lag där samtliga manuellsvetsare ingick. Vad som uppdagades var att manuellsvetslaget håller en lägre produktivitet än önskat samt att företaget har svårt att fastställa om det som tillverkas håller de mål som finns för kvalitet, leverans och ekonomi. Detta ledde fram till vårt syfte som är att påbörja en implementering av standardiserat arbetssätt i manuellsvetsen med fokus på svetsarnas förutsättningar att utifrån begreppet ?Rätt från mig? förbättra kvaliteten.För att besvara det nyss nämnda syftet genomfördes en nulägesanalys för att fastställa inom vilka områden arbete med det nya arbetssättet behövdes.

Rapsmetylester (RME), även kallat biodiesel, är ett biobränsle som produceras av rapsolja. Trots att RME är förnybart är växthusgasutsläppen i ett livscykelperspektiv inte försumbara, eftersom odlingen av raps ger upphov till utsläpp. Jordbruket är en av Sveriges största källor till klimatpåverkande gaser. Utsläppen sker framförallt i form av den högpotenta äxthusgasenlustgas som härrör från produktion och användning av gödsel, men även utsläpp som beror på användning av fossila bränslen är signifikanta. År 2009 antogs EU-direktivet 2009/28/EG, som bland annat syftade till att säkerställa de förnybara bränslenas klimatprestanda, det så kallade förnybartdirektivet.

In this report female farmers use of technical equipment is investigated. There is little research made on this subject in Sweden, therefore this report can be seen as an explorative study. Research makes it clear that machinery, throughout history and even today, has been seen as a male area. Heavy machines are often associated with the same attributes as masculinity. Force, power, efficiency and control are some examples.
