BackgroundHandover occurs as a daily task for health care professionals in all levels of care. Handover between ambulance crew and emergency department staff stands for the first exchange of information about a patient?s condition. Different factors may impact the Handover communication and make it vulnerable.AimThe aim is to highlight factors of importance at Handover between the ambulance and emergency room.MethodA literature review of thirteen studies with qualitative and quantitative research approach. The purpose of this literature review was to provide an overview of the area.ResultsExperiences for health care professionals is that communication is important for patient Handover between ambulance and emergency department.

The concept of building work environment co- ordinator is a relatively new concept that has its origin in the amendment to the Working Environment Act which came into force on 1 January 2009. The terms; building work environment co-ordinator appointed for planning and design and building work environment co-ordinator for the execution of building or civil engineering work ushered in the industry. Once these disciplines complement one another, you can achieve a smooth Handover to ensure a good and healthy working environment.In this thesis, we study a company in Uppsala and their operations and Handover by interviewing the relevant staff in question. Many enterprises have shortcomings in the transfer of information between different departments. Furthermore, routines for maintaining knowledge in order to be able to use this experience in the future are often lacking. Time and resources spent on improving these systems and procedures can provide significant benefits in terms of saved time and reduced costs in the later stages of a project. The benefit of this is not only a greater clarity and a reduced risk of misunderstandings, but also the preservation of knowledge that would otherwise be lost.The aim of this study has been to examine the process of information transfer and the transfer of knowledge between the calculus department and production manager in projects at Erlandsson Bygg i Öst AB. An additional aim was suggestions for improvements in the calculation Handover and at the end of a project, where it was possible.The study was primarily conducted through literature studies and interviews.

AbstractThe purpose of this work is to contribute knowledge about the transition of children from preschool to preschool classes. The experiences of pedagogical staff, parents and children are described, based on four deepening questions. The questions are about what the actors experience as positive and what the difficulties were in the transition process, and they also cover the differences of children and collaboration between actors. The method consists of qualitative interviews with parents, children, and pedagogical staff. The interviews concern the experiences of transition from the different actors.

Med dagens krav i lagar, författningar, föreskrifter och med patienters samt anhörigas tydliga förväntningar på sjukvården kan informationen och delaktigheten gällande vård, behandling klart förbättras inklusive säkerställas med nya rapporteringssystem. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka föräldrar och barns uppfattning angående information och delaktighet gällande barnets omvårdnad och behandling under vårdtiden på  barnonkologen på ett universitetssjukhus i centrala Sverige. För att ta reda på detta utfördes en för? och eftermätning med frågeformulär till barn och föräldrar i samband med att ett nytt skiftrapporteringssystem- Bedside Handover implementerades. Inne på patientsalen tillsammans med barn och föräldrar rapporterade avgående sjuksköterska till nästkommande skifts personal enligt en rapporteringsmall.

Background: A patient undergoing surgery will meet many caregivers in different settings pre-, intra- and postoperative in the surgical pathway. Lack of communication is a common digression and the handoff is such an occasion. The purpose is to describe current knowledge about the patients´ right to safe care perioperative. The study is a systematic review (pilot). Result: The handoff was informal, unstructured and inconsistent.

Vårdenheter i dagens sjukvård arbetar ofta och återkommande i överbeläggningssituationer. Detta kan innebära konsekvenser för patientsäkerheten. En litteraturstudie gjordes med granskning av 9 artiklar med syftet att belysa konsekvenser för patienter vid överbeläggningar inom somatisk slutenvård. Som största konsekvenser för patienter vid överbeläggningar identifierades brister i överrapporteringssituationer av patienternas fortsatta vård och konsekvenser av utlokalisering av patienter. För vårdpersonalen innebär utlokaliserade patienter ökade belastningar på flera nivåer, framförallt på grund av skillnader i kompetens och otillräckliga erfarenheter för att kunna tillgodose patienters omvårdnadsbehov.

The purpose of this paper is to identify the factors affecting the experience transfer at the rotation of the missions. This is to identify the respective influences are inhibitory factor, which contributes to a less efficient transfer, or if it contributes to a more efficient Handover. The method used for the production of this paper is a qualitative case study of squad leaders who have done service in Kosovo or Afghanistan. Through interviews with focus on the transfer of experience, both on individual and organizational level, the factors that affect are being identified. The model used is expressed in a general perspective, where each factor is categorized as inhibitory or contributing to success, and if it appears on an organizational or individual level.

This thesis investigates how Ericsson AB should do to achieve fast and secure Handover when roaming in a WLAN. It also provides a security analysis of the system that the wireless access point is part of. The reason for this is that Ericsson is selling an access point called the ABS 2200 aimed at the public hotspot market. The premise was that they wanted a standardized way of handling the roaming issue. At the outset the 802.11F standard looked like a good alternative (in fact the only standardized alternative).

The analysis was conducted using Lundman and Graneheim?s content analysis.

This master's thesis aims to study the relationship between two publiclibraries and Berättarministeriet, a foundation that offers free writingworkshops for children in areas with high levels of unemployment. Theworkshops are located in spaces that formerly belonged to the libraries.Questions posed in this thesis are How can the relationship between thelibraries and Berättarministeriet be described?, Why did the relationship turnout differently in the two places? and How does the library see itself, inrelation to Berättarministeriet?The theories used are Ögland's taxonomy for relationships between librariesand local organizations, and Folkesson's theory on interaction betweendifferent professional groups, and this was studied through interviews. Theresults showed a relationship without much interaction, beyond a "Handover"of children from one place to the other, with time and shortness of staff beingcontributing factors to the low level of collaboration. Regarding the differentrelationships in the two places the results were not conclusive, butnevertheless showed tendancies of issues in the legitimacy dimension, fromthe library towards Berättarministeriet.

The patient has right to know if it is a bad mews and often he/she needs caring after the information. Nurse´s basic responsibility is caring, for her/him it´s important to prevent the shock for the patient that can appear. Aim: Describe the nursing staff responses to the patient, using the patient´s perspective in relation to bad news. Method: A litterture review has been made with nine articles. Current research materials that meet the study´s purpose has been applied in databases and analyzed.

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva hur överrapporteringen fungerar mellan ambulanssjuksköterskor i Uppsala län och sjuksköterskor på akutmottagningen på Akademiska sjukhuset i Uppsala från mottagande sjuksköterskors perspektiv. Metod: Empirisk deskriptiv tvärsnittsstudie med kvantitativ ansats. 60 enkäter delades ut varav 33 besvarades. Det gav en svarsfrekvens på 55 %. Resultat: Sjuksköterskorna på akutmottagningen har delade meningar kring hur överrapporteringen fungerar med ambulanssjuksköterskorna.

När säkerheten vid rapportering brister kan det få förödande konsekvenser. Inom intensiv- samt operationssjukvården bedrivs omvårdnad i en högteknologisk miljö där patienten befinner sig i en stark beroendeställning. Säkerhetsaspekten vid överrapporteringar är här mycket viktig. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva en patientsäker överrapportering mellan operation och intensivvård. Granskning av 14 vetenskapliga artiklar visade att kommunikationen mellan intensivvården samt operation förbättrades genom användandet av ett strukturerat rapporteringsverktyg.
