The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to examine similarities and differences in qualitative experiences between formal and informal reading Groups from the participants? point of view. The empirical data was acquired from interviews with nine reading group participants, of whom four of them participated in formal reading Groups and five in informal reading Groups. To analyze the empirical data, Louise M. Rosenblatt?s theory concerning reading and a method concerning reading Groups by Immi Lundin were used.

Today, it is prescribed by law that authorities should cooperate, especially around vulnerable children. There is a need in Sweden of research about cooperation and the problems that can occur. Hence, this study seeks to examine which structural organizational conditions that affect cooperation in a few consultation Groups around violence and sexual abuse against children in Kronobergs län. Another aim is to see which meaning these conditions have for a functioning cooperation. Eight interviews have been done to investigate how different actors felt about cooperation, in the consultation Groups.

The ambition of this essay is to examine if Groups on Facebook are examples of ?slacktivism? and discuss which qualifications these Groups have in order to provide a democratic conversation. The results will be discussed relative to democratic participant, information overload, interactivity and previous research. By nethnographically observing three Groups and analyzing selected posts and comments with the critical discourse analysis one can see that slacktivism spreads easily by people liking and sharing posts from the Groups to their friends. The particular Groups that has been analyzed in this essay are committed to save Swedish traditions that they believe is threatened.

The aim with this study is to achieve an increased understanding and knowledge about terrorist Groups. The factors that the study come to be focused around is the Groups' objectives, their organization, which enemies they have and with which means that they use for there terrorism. In order to respond to this aim the four different terrorist Groups, Colombian revolutionary armed forces (FARC), Baskien - our native country and our freedom (ETA), red Army fraction (RAF) and al Qaida is studied.To achieve the aim of this study the methods qualitative text analysis and comparative method is being used. It is designed also within the framework of this study a categorization model that is used as method in order to do a division of the studied Groups based on their objective, enemies, organization and means. The purpose of this master?s thesis is to examine virtual reading Groups, and which meaning the users perceive that the virtual reading Groups offer. In addition, the study inquires which details can be improved to further amend the needs and wants among the users of virtual reading Groups. Through these outlines, it is discussed how libraries and librarians can make use of virtual reading Groups as a resource. The study is based upon qualitative interviews, consisting of asynchronous e-mail interviews with a total of sixteen members in two different virtual reading Groups.

The aim of our study has been to see how DIK-forum represents the occupational Groups that are represented in the frames of the trade journal. We have, to find out the phenomenon, done a content analysis by looking into 18 numbers of DIK-forum from year 2006 and 2007. The 18 strategically chosen journals was enough to give us a statistic result that we later on could generalize over those two years of DIK-forum. Totally there were 818 articles, news items and vacant advertisements that made the central point of this study. By these materials have we studied the representation of the occupational Groups to find out if there were any over- and/or under represented Groups, and also if the publications of the material were directed to the students or to the occupational Groups in these trade journals.In our study the results shows that the trade journal DIK-forum does not represent all the occupational Groups at the same level.

The purpose of this thesis was to examine reading Groups inpublic libraries from a bibliotherapeutic perspective. Inorder to reach this purpose following questions needed to beanswered: What does the discussion in reading Groups looklike? What does the reading Groups fulfill for theirparticipants? What is the circle leaders? role? The study isbased on the observations of three reading Groups and offive interviews of its participants. With the help of CarolineShrodes theory the study shows that there are few signs ofbibliotherapy in the reading Groups. But on the other handthey show similarities with other bibliotherapeutic readingGroups, by being a social venue for its participants.

The aim was to investigate three anti-racist Groups of pupils, their thoughts about respectively their work against racism. The aim was divided into the following questions: - What is, according to the Groups, racism and what does the situation look like at the schools? - What does the dynamics in the group look like? - What courses of action are the Groups using and how can they improve their work? - How can the Groups be described according to the terms work group and basic assumption group? To answer these questions I made three group interviews, one with each group. I analysed the results partly according to earlier research and literature, partly according to the group theory of WR Bion, using the terms work group and basic assumption group. My conclusion is that the word racism seems to have been affected by inflation, since the Groups include bullying as well as anti-racists.

The purpose of our essay is to investigate the trust in accountants. The method we used to investigate the trust was a survey and a questionnaire was used to collect the data. The data was gathered from three different Groups, shareholders, lenders and tax authority. When we analysed the data we found out that the Groups trust in accountants were neither strong nor weak. The results can be generalized on all the three Groups because the observations were scattered around the means and we used random selection to collect the data.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how a group of students experience their learning when working in Groups, and determine if they prefer to work individually or in Groups. This study will also investigate what the students believe that they learn when working in Groups. The study is based on these two questions:How and what do students perceive that they learn from working in Groups?Do the students in my study prefer to work in Groups or individually?The method I have used to retrieve information has been to interview four different students. The interviews were individual; I did so to get a deeper view of how students perceive their own learning in Groups.

We chose to study the Groups for divorced children in Vellinge municipal because there was no evaluation made of these kinds of Groups with the involved methods.Vellinge municipal has had Groups for children to divorced parents since 2000. During this period of time the total numbers of children in these Groups have expanded. As of now, there are two Groups.Our goal with this study was to see which way the CAP, Children Are People, manual has been implemented in the every-day work in the group. Several studies have been made about CAP but not in the context of Groups for divorced children. We have also examined results in other municipals that have implemented Groups for divorced children into their social services.We have interviewed ten children and four social workers.

The purpose of this work has been to understand the reading group from the perspective of the society. The studyhas taken place in the city of Västerås and the results can thus not be used in a more generalized sence. Byfocusstudies conducted with members from four different reading Groups connected in different ways to the libraryin Västerås I have reached the following conclusions.According to Jürgen Habermas theories the reading Groups, with their ideals regarding education and meetingswhere everybody are equals, belong in the part of the public sphere that he calls literary. There are someconnections to the political sphere, for exempel the down to earth quality of the literature that is the choice ofthe Groups and their way of discussing it.One problem that occures when one tries to apply Habermas idéas regarding the public sphere on readingGroups is that the criteria Habermas considers as vital to sphere for it to work properly does not seem to workon the reading Groups. Inclusion, eqality and freedom of subjects are necessary to create a public sphere.
