"Den Andre" och skapandet av en identitet En teoretisk studie av begreppsliggandet av "den Andre" och dess påverkan på identitetskonstruktioner

The aim of this theoretical study is to explain how the notion of the Other and Otherness affect individuals possibilities to form multiple, personal identities. This is done by the use of the theory of the Other and the construction of identities. In my analysis I will be using the power perspective presented by Lukes. The purpose of my study is also to investigate whether a focus on similarity over difference between Groups can change the situation for individualsMy study shows that otherness affect individuals identity constructions through stereotyping and categorising. This is made possible by the use of power from outside and inside different groupings.

Kommunikationsstrategi för Renbruksplan : är det en fungerande modell för samebyarna vid samråd?

The reindeer planning system (Renbruksplanen, RBP) is a communication and planning tool designed for Sami Groups. A key purpose of this is that it will act as a tool in consultation with other market players, including forestry. Sami Groups have asked for a model of how this can be used in a flexible manner. With the Swedish Forest Agency as a project manager, a communication model for how to use the RBP has been designed. It consists of a number of points divided into ?before?, ?during? and ?after? the consultation.

The question how teaching should be organized in order to give the students the help and support they need to reach their goals is always of vital interest. Streaming in mathematics could be one solution. The first week at upper secondary school a diagnostic test is carried through. Thereafter, the result is used as a basis for dividing the classes into different teaching Groups. Thus, the Groups working with mathematics become more homogeneous and the students? previous knowledge is approximately at the same level.

Trångt om saligheten - En studie av intresseorganisationers arbete med politisk påverkan i det post-korporativa Sverige

The relationship between the government and organised interest in Sweden has changed. Formally considered as a good example of a corporatist state the country during the last 15 years or so experienced a more pluralistic system. This thesis is a qualitative study which discusses how interest Groups seek to influence decision makers and policy thru lobbying and public opinion. It also examines how interest Groups work with advertising and public relations in a changed climate of mass media. The main method of gathering material has been done thru interviews of representatives of different interest Groups. The results of the study paint a picture where the interviewed organizations experience a vast competition in communication and information.
