The purpose of this thesis has been about processing an already existing Folder for a tax funded organization which is also the employer for this mission ? Expectrum. The reason is that both Expectrum themselves and the recievers of the Folder are unhappy with the existing material. The critic that has been directed to Expectrum is that the recievers have trouble understanding what Expectrum is and what they do. Based on qualitative methods such as interviews and text analysis I?ve been able to answer my questions for this thesis.

Syftet med detta arbete har varit att skapa en Folder om den ideella verksamheten på Djurskyddet Eskilstuna för att mottagaren ska förstå hur de kan hjälpa de hemlösa katterna. Jag inledde mitt arbete med att analysera andra katthems foldrar för att undersöka hur lättlästa de är, hur tilltalet är och hur deras foldrar kan påverka läsarens uppfattning av deras verksamhet. Jag har använt mig av teorier om ideellt arbete, motivation, retorik, lättläst, stilistik och grafisk form vid framställningen. För att se hur uppfattningen av en Folder är har jag utprovat den på personer ur målgruppen. Foldern användes även under ett event med Djurskyddet Eskilstuna i slutet av april för att se om den skulle fungera i praktiken. Genom teori och empiri fann jag att en Folder om Djurskyddet Eskilstuna bör vara lättläst genom underrubriker, enkla bilder och vanliga ord.

?Mitt examensarbete har gått ut på att producera en informationsFolder om chefsrekrytering i offentlig sektor för tidningen Dagens Samhälles räkning. I min rapport redogör jag för hur jag har gått till väga och varför jag har gjort som jag har gjort med hänvisning till kurslitteraturen. Under arbetets gång har jag fått bra möjlighet att tillämpa de kunskaper jag fått under mina studier i informationsdesign.Jag har också jämfört mitt färdiga material med en liknande Folder som gjordes av samma tidning, på i stort sett samma tema, för cirka 20 år sedan. Jag ville på detta sätt se om mitt informationsmaterial är bättre ur ett informationsdesignperspektiv än ett material som producerades för 20 år sedan är.

I denna rapport beskrivs arbetet med att ta fram en informationsFolder till Eskilstuna kommun som vänder sig till ungdomar. Syftet med informationsFoldern är att övertyga ungdomar om att Eskilstuna kommun är en attraktiv arbetsgivare och arbetsplats, då en stor del av kommunens anställda snart har gått i pension. Kommunen saknar sedan tidigare informationsmaterial som vänder sig till yngre invånare.Utformningen av Foldern är baserad på budskapsstrategier, retorik och stilistik samt tidigare studier om Eskilstuna kommun, årsplan, styrdokument och intervjuer med anställda i kommunen. Rapporter om gymnasieungdomars värderingar, analys av informationsbroschyrer riktade till ungdomar samt fokusgrupp är ytterligare metoder som har legat till grund för framställningen av Foldern..

När Windows Vista introducerades förändrades mappstrukturen för hur användarprofilen sparas jämfört med tidigare Windowsversioner såsom Windows XP. Denna rapport undersöker kompatibilitetsproblem med Roaming User Profiles mellan äldre och nyare versioner av operativsystemet. Syftet med rapporten var att utreda vilka problem som kan uppstå, vad det gäller Roaming User Profiles, vid en övergång från Windows XP till Windows Vista eller 7. Undersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av laborationer, litteratur och tester för att hitta problemen såväl som lösningar till dem. Resultatet visar att profiler skapade med Windows XP inte följer med till Windows Vista eller 7 utan det skapas sammanlagt två olika profiler, en för det äldre och en för det nyare operativsystemet.

The report describes the production of graphic correspondence and marketing material for DUCIS(Dalarna University Centre for Irish Studies).A logotype symbol is created on the basis of an element from the Celtic art, and a graphic material thatharmonies with this ideal of style is built around the symbol. A unique visiting card, correspondence cardand letterhead is produced to strengthen the identity of DUCIS outwards.The work proceeds with an international education Folder which is an important element in the marketingwork for the MA-education which starts in the autumn of 2003. Two posters, one for the opening ofDUCIS in may 2003 and one for a conference in 2004, are produced. Finally, a redesign of the book coverfor NIS, Nordic Irish Studies, is carried out.The report describes the working process consisting of meetings, practical work and other elementswithin the process. The conclusion is that the work has been quite successful and that this, to a largeextent, depended on an engaged and supporting commissioner.

Studien syftade till att undersöka polisers upplevelse kring debriefing. Studien undersökte hur polismyndigheten i Skåne län arbetar med debriefing och vad de kan utveckla samt förbättra. Litteraturgenomgången tar upp de sju olika faser som debriefing kretsar kring samt vilka förutsättningar som bör råda för att en debriefing ska kunna hållas. Studien är av kvalitativ art, fyra intervjuer med två kvinnor och två män genomfördes. Urvalspersonerna var två erfarna poliser samt två relativt nyutexaminerade poliser, förutsättningen var att de genomgått debriefing.

Uppsatsens huvudsyfte är att undersöka om Feministiskt initiativ realiserar sin föreskrivna inkluderande politik i texterna de producerar. Utifrån huvudsyftet formuleras två delsyften: att undersöka om Feministiskt initiativ har några språkliga strategier för att nå ut till andraspråksbrukare samt att undersöka hur texterna fungerar för en person med svenska som andraspråk. Materialet är en webbtext från Feministiskt initiativs nationella hemsida och en Folder från Feministiskt initiativ Storstockholm. Studiens övergripande forskningsdesign är metodologisk triangulering med enkäter, intervjuer, användartester med andraspråksbrukare och textanalys utifrån testresultaten. Resultatet visar att den inkluderande politiken saknas i de studerade texterna.

A number of publications has been produced for two companies in Dalarna, Utvecklingshuset andSkönhetsbanken.Utvecklingshuset is working, among other things, with stressyndroms and by treating crises. Theirpublications consist of a number of product sheets, a Folder and a brochure. They want to use the publicationsfor information to their customers.Skönhetsbanken is a beauty saloon who will have a brochure to mediate the services they can offer.Photos have been taken, existing and for this purpose written texts have been used.The softwares Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and Adobe Indesign 2.0 have been used for all publications andthe work with producing these has been satisfactory.The effect of a good cooperation with the companies has resulted in that they are pleased with thepublications and feel that they have been part of the end of the results.All of the publications have been or will be printed with digital printing methods, which is the reasonfor the choice of the litterature survey.The survey deals with, among other things, how the digital press works, which papers that are suitable,economic aspects and what a graphic designer should have in mind when it comes to graphic productsthat will be printed with digital printing methods..

An inquiring study of literature has been conducted, about the human colour perception (theimpression of colours). The colour has been examined, both as conscious and subconscious signal,and reasons for it?s influence have been exammed.The practical parts of the degree project have been carried out in active collaboration with thecustomer, The Association Hedemora Assistansservice (HASS), which offers handicapped persons astimulating spare time by personal assistance. A graphical profile-programme and an informationFolderhave been produced, easy received by both handicapped (with defective vision) and normallysighted persons. The graphical profile-programme was made in collaboration with the customer.Concerning the information-Folder HASS took the main responsibility for the choice of photographswhile layout, text writing, colour-reproduction, original-production and connecting printing workswere made independently.

In my exam-project, ?For Götha Kendo Club ? an athletic clubs new graphical profile? at HDK ( School of Design and Crafts ) i chose to redesign the visual identity of Götha Kendo Club, a kendo-club in Gothenburg. Kendo is a japanese fencing sport, where swords of bamboo are used, together with protective armor.My work consists of a new logotype for Götha Kendo Club; three different posters for recruiting beginners; a website layout, presented with a pdf-file; and a beginners Folder, with an introduction to kendo.The aim was, not only to give Götha Kendo Club a new fresh look, but also to attract a target group to the sport, namely people who are interested in competition, exercise and athletics.To achieve this I created a though look where tension and focus was the lead; using only three colours, red, white and black, and with progressive typography set in with the modernistic HouseGothic typeface I created this fresh and exciting look. The photography by Ida Nordung where shoot with white backdrop, creating a hard contrast to the dark clothed kendo models.Finally I collected rules and guidelines for the graphical and visual elements of Götha Kendo Club new style in a graphical guide..

The degree project has been implemented abroad in Brisbane, Australia. A literature study has beenperformed parallel to the practical work within the subject »Corporate identity through graphicaldesign«. In this study deeper research has been made concerning the establishment and manifestationof a corporate identity and its program. The knowledge given from this study has been put into practicethrough two larger projects.The first project was carried out at De Pasquale, advertising agency in Brisbane, where a corporateidentity program was designed for a new company. The company is a fitness centre, called KnockoutFitness, which specializes in different types of boxing training sessions such as Boxing, Thai Bow andBoxercise but also Aqua aerobics.

This paper presents the creation of a strengthening visual profile for StretchFlex UF. The project consists of an external as well as an internal part. The external part is on the order of the company StretchFlex. The company is created under the education concept by the name of Ung Företagsverksamhet (Young Entrepreneurship) and has passed on to the Swedish Championships in Young Entrepreneurship at the Stockholm International Fairs. Of that we have been commissioned to develop an updated logotype for the company, for the current does not keep proper quality according to the client.

The distributioncentral of Stadium has an area of 31,6 acre and is being build in Herstadberg in the region of Norrköping. It is Mattssons Fastighetsutveckling (Mattssons Real-estate development) who also has ordered the building. They will also take care of the operation and support of the distributioncentral. Peab has got the assignment as a total contractor and it is for them I have done my degree project.I have been drawing-up a description of the goods in the distributioncenter. In the declaration a description of the goods will be found, there substance for all the materials that has been built in to the building describes.

Dagens trend av industriell tillverkning och konsumtion är av linjär karaktär. Material utvinns, blir produkter och hamnar sedan på deponi. Detta examensarbete har tillsammans med Industrial Development Center AB syftat till att skapa en mer hållbar industriell tillverkning inom Skaraborgsregionen, genom att forma en produktutvecklingsprocess i enlighet med cirkulär ekonomi. Cirkulär ekonomi förespråkar att avfall inte får förekomma och att produkter och material ska cirkulera i kretslopp. Projektet bestod därför av en bred förstudie för att samla och utvärdera ett stort område med teorier, processer och företagens ansvarsroller.
