Background: It is required that health care professionals continuously work with patient safety and quality improvements, and the skills of registered nurses are significant in this work. However, quality improvement also requires commitment and knowledge about how to improve health care and ensure patient safety. There is a lack of studies that highlights the importance of supportive functions for this work. Nurses in clinical settings can be utilized as Facilitators that make things easier for other health care professionals who are engaged in quality improvement and patient safety. In order to gain understanding about the significance and needs of nurses with a role of facilitator, it is urgent to learn from their experiences of facilitating quality improvement in health care.Aim: The aim was to study nurses? experiences of facilitating quality improvement of nursing care, patient safety and multi-professional collaboration in health care.Method: Semi-structured qualitative interviews were performed with ten registered nurses who had experience of being in the role of Facilitators.

The purpose of the study was to learn how social structures can enable accessibility, by asking persons with visual impairment about their experiences of accessibility in the public environment in the city of Stockholm. Eleven adults with visual impairments, living in the city of Stockholm, were interviewed using two separate focus groups. The study was carried out with the objective to allow for the participants to be involved in the research process. The resulting data was analyzed on the basis of Nancy Fraser?s theory on social justice, focusing on the conceptions; needs, politicised needs, redistribution, recognition and misrecognition.

The purpose of the literature review was to examine barriers and Facilitators to life style changes experienced by patients with coronary heart disease.  Our study aims at investigating the unit manager?s, within LSS, perceiveddiscretion, when people with Down´s syndrome develop Alzheimer?s disease. We wanted to know what they perceive as limiting factors or Facilitators in order to meet changing and/or emerging needs, as well as how they interpret their discretion in relation to this. We have conducted semi-structured qualitative interviews with five unit mangers within LSS.When analyzing the interview material, we have used a theoretical approach from a street-level bureaucracy and from the unit managers? perceiveddiscretion point of view.Our study?s result demonstrate that the unit managers are experiencing a wide discretion and do not feel a need to widen their identifieddiscretion..

En miljon människor i Sverige dricker för mycket alkohol vilket kan leda till försämrad hälsa, sjukdom och skador. Sjuksköterskor möter patienter i olika omvårdnadssituationer inom hälso- och sjukvården. Syftet med denna studie var att belysa vad som underlättar och vad som hindrar sjuksköterskor att ställa frågor om alkoholkonsumtion i möten med patienten. Litteraturstudien baserades på 10 artiklar funna via de två databaserna Cinahl och PubMed. Artiklarna har granskats och analyserats och i resultatet framkom tre kategorier vilka har huvudtema och undertema.

From a time where employees often remained at one company until retirement, globalization and changed employment patterns have created a more mobile labor market in the last years. In an effort to expand the connection between organization and employee a rising interest in corporate alumni networks has emerged. Previous research has shown that conditions for such networks are formed through employees social identification, perceived organizational support and organizational citizenship and can be shaped by company's HR practices.This paper aims to examine two case companies' perceived benefits through alumni relations as well as their HR prac-tices, in order to increase understanding surrounding the relationship between the two areas. Further the study intends to draw conclusions about the role of corporate alumni networks in the creation of the received benefits.The study indicates that HR practices, through the creation of an organizational citizenship behavior, can influence the conditions for beneficial alumni relations. Results show that some expected benefits of alumni relations can be re-ceived through strong citizenship.

Bakgrund: Allt fler människor drabbas av den kroniska sjukdomen diabetes typ 2. Att leva med sjukdomen upplevs olika, av vissa som en naturlig del av livet, av andra som något patologiskt. Delaktighet och egenvård har nära samband för att patienten ska kunna anpassa sig till den nya situationen. För att kunna stötta patienterna och motivera till god egenvård är det också viktigt för hälso- och sjukvården att ha kunskap om patienters upplevelser av egenvård.Syfte: Syftet var att utifrån ett patientperspektiv beskriva upplevelser av främjande respektive hindrande faktorer i egenvården hos patienter med diabetes typ 2.Metod: En litteraturstudie genomfördes baserad på tio kvalitativa artiklar insamlade från databaserna Cinahl och PubMed. Artiklarna analyserades genom att identifiera gemensamma nämnare i artiklarnas resultat och därefter skapades teman.Resultat: Tre huvudteman med tillhörande subteman identifierades.

Many studies have been conducted of different types of business networks in recent years. Despite this, there is a lack of research concerning industry-transcending formal networks which are limited to a specific region. We have conducted a case study of Örebro Promotion, which is an industry-transcending network including over 500 members. Örebro is a medium-sized city in the middle of Sweden. The purpose with our study is to create an understanding of why enterprises choose to be a part of the network and what they feel is the gain of their membership.
