The use of out-Door pedagogy in the school has been frequently high-lighted during recent years. To which extent out-Door education was practised in the school depends on the opinions among the active teachers. The aim of this study was to examine the opinions on out-Door pedagogy among teachers in classes 4-6 of the elementary school and to find out to which extent the teacher used out-Door teaching. The study was based on qualitatively structured interviews with 4 teachers having different lenght of teaching experience. The results of the interviews showed that the teachers had different opinions on the definition of out-Door pedagogy.

The authors of this thesis take another view in trying to identify the mechanisms behind Door policy from an economic perspective.Based on case studies in nightclubs in Stockholm the authors conclude that there are two types of Door policy: including and excluding. While including Door policy aims to comply with regulations and commonly is part of a cost-leadership or focus strategy, excluding Door policy is primarily a tool for attracting and selecting a certain audience in line with a product differentiation strategy. It thrives on the principles of exclusivity and reciprocity.Forming the identity of a club, audience is of great importance and excluding Door policy is found to be an important tool in creating the correct composition of audience, which ultimately aims to increase profitability..

Current research shows that the number of Door openings during surgery is unjustifiably high. It is the operating room nurses task to ensure a hygienic and aseptic environment throughout the surgery with the goal of minimizing the risk of healthcare associated infection. The study aims to investigate whether the operating room nurse is attentive to the number of Door openings during surgery and if the operating room nurse is attentive to the reasons behind the Door openings. A pilot study with nine observations was carried out on two smaller hospitals in the region of Västra Götaland. The results showed a significant underestimation of the rated Door openings compared with the actual ones.

Today?s construction buildings contain more advanced technologies than before. The development of newer and stricter regulations to the construction industry makes the Door environment more and more complex.In large construction projects the Door environment is held up as a major challenge to get to in a good way. A study on a university building for around 3500 students and with 300 workplaces was made.

2014 is a special year in Sweden: for the first time elections to the European parliament and the national elections coincides, creating a"Super election year". This year has also seen the rebirth of an old way of campaigning: Door-to-Door canvassing. For the first time in 50 years the two biggest political parties, the Social Democrats and the Moderate Party, have decided to create a campaign based on personal meetings with the voters in their own home. To investigate this old-new way of campaigning, this study presents an overview of the history of Door-to-Door canvassing in Sweden and the research in political marketing associated with the phenomena. Based on that, a new model is constructed to help analyze and map the Swedish canvassing-campaigns.

This report is a description of a developed educational simulator over rail vehicles and its components. The simulator is a hardware-based prototype over a Door system on rail vehi- cles. SUMMARYPrevious research has shown that there is a connection between the Doorways and postoperative wound infections. Despite recommendations from Socialstyrelsen and the individual hospitals' PM there is still high traffic in the operating theatres. In a hybrid theatre environment combined X-ray techniques of surgery, resulting in it being further two categories inside the operating theatre. This may generate an increase in traffic flow. The study is a prospective, non-participant observation study conducted in the spring of 2013 at a university hospital in western Sweden.

In this paper the possibilities to replace metal with plastic in products for the building industry were looked into. The first part was a market examination where several suitable products were found. After evaluation the Door latch for in-house Doors was selected to be re-designed to better suit the properties of plastic.New types of mechanisms were designed with different functions that use the benefits of plastic materials. Models of these mechanisms were developed to evaluate their function. The components in the different mechanisms were adapted for manufacturing with injection moulding.To confirm that the plastic material could handle the appearing stresses calculations on the most vulnerable parts were carried out.

These strictrequirements have often led to Doors and Door sections in public buildings being verycomplex and difficult to correctly install without any complications.This diploma work has been carried out in cooperation with Werket Architects,which estimates a high percentage of flaws regarding aforementioned components, inprojects of the type described. The company therefore wanted to investigate howthey could develop their remit in Door production, which is the projection and designof blueprints. By taking part of installers opinions on how they want the blueprints ofDoors and Door - sections to be designed for the best installation possibilities,develop¬ment areas, and to some extent improvements regarding the company's useof accounting techniques, could be provided to the company.The study shows, among other things, that there is a possibility of development in thefunctional descriptions that entail the Doors' fitting components.

The present work is a continuation of the ideas developed in previous projects during my Masters studies that explored the relation between pattern, form and space. Starting from the pattern multiplication for space construction the present project proposes textiles as an assortment of flexible expressions. The purpose of the project is to explore aesthetic and functional potential of textiles for out Door temporary structures. This is to create a pattern interface which filters sunlight through a textile surface to offer instant sheltering solutions for out Door activities. The project combines research and analyses of outDoor temporary structures and scope of textile in the area.

This thesis was performed at Zetterbergs Industri AB. Zetterbergs is designing, building and mounts body systems for trucks, including dumpers and tippers. The assignment for the thesis was to design a Door hinge for a spreader gate. The spreader gate is the top of the two tailgates on a dumper or tipper and opens back and outwards when tipping the cargo. The spreader gate controls the mass flow of the material being tipped.

This thesis includes a mechanical engineering design work performed incollaboration between ÅF and Halmstad University. The work is done by FredyOlsson?s methods of Principle- and Primary Construction and David Ullman?stheories of Design for Assembly.The group was commissioned by ÅF to produce a concept to narrow down theassembly time of today?s luggage Doors by reducing the numbers of adjustmentoptions. They also wanted it to be easier to mount the assembly by making itpossible to adjust the Door in a closed position. Today luggage Door takes, with its10 adjustment possibilities, around 4 hours each to assemble and ÅF wanted anassembly time around 10 minutes per Door.Initially a preliminary study was made where the group began reviewing today'sconstruction and mounting of rails and Doors on buses.
