Modellering av rotationssystem

This master thesis was conducted during the spring of 2014 at Atlas Copco Rock Drills AB in Örebro. The purpose of the thesis was to develop a simulation model of the rotation system for a hydraulic rock drill. In the future, the model will be used to investigate the phenomena called ?jerky rotation?. In order to validate the simulation model a test bench was designed and tests were made.

Abstract CORDIC (Coordinate Rotation Digital Computer) is an iterative algorithm for the calculation of a two-dimensional vector in circular, linear or hyperbolic coordinate systems. This paper presents a survey of known CORDIC algorithms and architectures for the rotation and vectoring mode in the circular cordinate system. In addition an implementation of the differential CORDIC algorithm in VHDL has been done. The aim of this study was to determine the basic movements of the riders? pelvis and upper body when riding in trot seated. The study was preformed at a treadmill with seven high level dressage horses and their riders. The movements of the horse and rider were captured with a motion analysis system (ProReflexÂź) and also recorded on video. The horses were ridden in collected trot, 3.0 m/s.

Rotationskravets inverkan pÄ revisionskvaliteten

Syftet med studien Àr att förklara en möjlig rotationsplikts inverkan pÄ revisionskvaliteten i Sverige. I dagslÀget finns inget krav pÄ revisorsrotation i Sverige, men dÀremot pÄverkas svenska bolag av regler som stiftas i andra lÀnder. Dessutom har EU-kommissionen övervÀgt att införa en ny regel som skall tvinga börsnoterade företag att med jÀmna mellanrum byta revisor eller revisionsbyrÄ. Vi har i vÄr förklaring till ett möjligt rotationskravs effekter pÄ revisionskvaliteten valt att utifrÄn agentteorin och stewardshipteorin utforma vÄra hypoteser. Genom att se revisorn som en nyttomaximerande agent kan vi anvÀnda agentteorin som en introduktion till den del av teorin som talar för en obligatorisk rotationsplikt.

Optimization of soil tillage and crop rotation is important in many aspects, but particularly in maximizing profit margins. Since the economic outcome is usually decisive, it can be interesting to study different combinations of soil tillage systems and crop rotations in order to identify the maximum economic outcome. How a crop functions in a particular tillage system determines whether it is profitable to grow that crop. Different tillage systems affect the soil and its processes in different ways. Reduced tillage often works best on weak-structured heavy clays and on silty clays.

This report will point out the income for a scania plant production farm, this has been estimated through a case study. The outcome of this report will later be used to calculate a reasonable leasehold charge. This case study is solitary based upon this particular studied farm, at this very point, and can therefore not be used as a general guide. The reason why this particular scania plant production farm has been selected, is because the author is born and raised at the farm and has the intention to run the farm in the future. The chosen farm for this report is based in the southwest of scania and cover 300 hectare of plant production. The crop rotation consists of autumn wheat, sugar beats, spring wheat, spring barely, winter rape and fallow. The farm owns all machinery required.

Arcoma is a company that develops and manufactures X-ray equipment for hospitals. One of the most crucial components is the digital detector. Due to the high cost it is made removable so it could be transferred and used in other X-ray apparatus. The detector is placed in a so called detector holder. The current detector has a rectangular shape which sometimes requires a 90 degree rotation to match the shape of the patient.

LÀngden pÄ revisionsuppdraget och revisionskvaliteten : Finns det nÄgot samband?

This study examines whether there is an association between the length of the client-auditor relationship and audit quality, using absolute unexpected accruals estimated by industry as a measure of audit quality based on a modified Jones model. The study is motivated by the proposal on mandatory audit firm rotation for publicly traded companies from the European Commission, which is based on the notion that longer auditor firm tenure creates a familiarity threat which reduces the audit quality. Both the relation between audit quality and auditor partner tenure and audit firm tenure is examined in this study, using multivariate regression controlling for auditor type (Big 4 versus non-Big 4), signing auditors (one versus two auditors), firm size, profitability, leverage and age. There is a significant negative relationship between audit quality and audit partner tenure when only companies employing Big 4 is tested, which indicate that auditors constrain managements extreme accounting measures with longer tenure. The results provide no significant evidence of an increase in the absolute unexpected accruals with audit firm tenure, when only Big 4 companies are tested.

Skillnader mellan röntgensjuksköterskors och radiologers rutiner att godkÀnna eller inte godkÀnna frontalbilder pÄ knÀplastik

Bakgrund: Trikompartmentell knÀartroplastik (TKA) Àr en vanlig behandlingsmetod vid artros. Vid bildtagning finns rekommendationer författade av Svensk Ortopedisk Förening. Dessa tÀcker inte knÀledsrotation pÄ en frontalbild. Syftet var att ta reda pÄ skillnader mellan röntgensjuksköterskors och radiologers rutiner att godkÀnna/underkÀnna knÀfrontalbilder med TKA ifall knÀt projicerats roterat.Metod: Genom en enkÀt bestÄende av tvÄ till fyra frÄgor om fem frontalbilder pÄ knÀn med TKA som elva röntgensjuksköterskor och nio radiologer fick svara pÄ samlades materialet in. Bilderna visade fem olika knÀn som i denna studie respektive bedömdes som rak, lite utÄtroterad, mycketutÄtroterad, lite inÄtroterad samt mycket inÄtroterad.
