There is a legend about a church on the island of Orust in the small village of Tegneby. The legend tells a story about a hidden church Bell in the mysterious hole in the creek.?During a war long time ago, people were afraid that the King Gustav Vasa would take their church Bell to use as material for cannons. So the people in Tegneby hid their beloved church Bell in a hole in the creek below the church and there it remained for seven years?  (main legend)The aim of this paper was to find out if this legend still is alive in the area of Tegneby.

This paper is an analysis of the hell theme in Rob Bell's book Love Wins. A Book About Heaven, Hell and the Fate of Every Person Who Ever Lived. Using a constructivist text analysis the essay examines how Bell creates a theology around the image of hell that he advocates. The study aims to analyze and explain how Bell constructs the meaning he advocates in the concept of hell. This includes an analysis of the passages in the book that discusses what the term hell refers to and the passages that deal with properties of hell.

Jag har länge intresserat mig för landskapets förändring, i synnerhet urbana landskap och människans påverkan på landskap över huvudtaget. Simon Bell är en landskapsarkitekt och forskare som kommit att intressera sig för landskapets visuella sammansättning. I boken Elements of Visual Design in the Landscape (2008) introducerar Bell en vokabulär och ett tillvägagångssätt rörande hur landskap visuellt kan beskrivas. Kandidatarbetets syfte är att undersöka hur Simon Bells metod för analys av landskap fungerar när den tillämpas på ett industriområde i förändring. Bells analysmetod applicerades på industrikvarteret Betongen 1 som ligger i Östersund. En betongstation är belägen i industrikvarteret.

A new type of device for measuring thev m& ?rate of fuel sprays from a diesel fuel injector has been developed and the various steps in the development are described. The device works by deflecting all of the sprays from the injector at the same time by using a Bell shaped deflector. A load cell consisting of a machined steel part with strain gauges mounted on it measures the resulting force. The shape of the curvature in the deflector Bell shape has been evaluated by photographing the flow in a 2D?version of the curve shape.

This qualitative research study aims to investigate how eight members of the Society of Friends (also known as Quakers) experience a divine presence in their Meeting for Worship. The purpose is also to find out how their identity as Quakers has been created, and to see how they look at their Meeting of Worship when it comes to ritual as a concept.The method used in this study is individual, semi-structured interviews and observations of Meeting of Worship. The results show a relatively homogeneous group of individuals from a secular upbringing who as adults sought out a community where silence is appreciated and used to achieve an experience of a divine presence. Berger and Luckmann's theories of socialization have been applied to the results and the discussion reveals how the secondary socialization has been essential in the process of forming the individual into being a Quaker. There is however one exception, in the form of one participant who grew up in the Society of Friends.

I got a request from Eleiko Sport AB regarding them needing help with trying to improve one of their products. The following examination project includes the principal- and primary construction reports within trying to make some improvements and optimizations on a stand for Kettle Bells. I have in this project both made my own proposals to the stands legs, proposals on how to strengthen the shelf and also made an optimization of the original Kettle Bell-stand. In this report, the project goes from idea to being built and analyzed in Catia, including the creation of drawings and material definition..

This thesis sets out to examine how feminist struggle can be negotiated, defined and motivated. By using Oral history as a theoretical and methodological framework, three persons narrative are being constructed, explored and discussed throughout the thesis. All the interviewees define themselves as women and feminists and have all practised music in different separatist rock and pop-groups from 1970 to present. Themes as music as political action, and separatism for persons who define themselves as women are discussed. The tree informants agree about some feministic goals such as equality and the right to be able to play and perform music regardless of gender identity, although the means to reach these goals are formulated differently. .

This essay concerns the Celts during the Iron Age, and their ritual practice in human sacrifice. The method applied is an eclectic historic-critic reading of the few classical sources that exist together with archeological material and scholars conclusions of literal sources and archeological material. The hypothesis is that human sacrifice in the Celtic realm not is to be seen as a primitive act of violence, but that it filled a social function to preserve society and the Celtic way of life.The question this essay strives to answer is Which function/s do human sacrifice fill in a Celtic context during the Iron Age? The question is analysed with the aid of Radcliffe-Brown?s and Catherine Bell?s theories on ritual, as well as Malcolm Chapman?s postmodern ideas of the conception of the Celtic. The conclusion of the essay is that the prime functions of Celtic human sacrifice are to preserve society and the Celtic social way of life, combined with an aim to eliminate disturbing elements in that same society, such as crime and individuals who did not fit in to the social community..

Syftet med vårt utvecklingsarbete var att undersöka om elevernas inställning till ämnet religionskunskap utvecklas i en positiv riktning, genom att arbeta med storyline. Storylinemetoden utarbetades av bl.a. Dr. Steve Bell vid University of Strathclyde i Glasgow som ett sätt att möta 1965 års skotska läroplan. A method for measuring the total impulse from a multi hole diesel injector, introduced inprevious thesis work, ?Development of a method and a device for measuring the momentumrate of fuel sprays?, by Mikael Lindström, has been further developed and tested. The conceptis to simultaneously deflect all sprays from a multi hole diesel injector by using a Bell shapeddeflector. The fuel sprays are deflected straight down from their initial umbrella angle, andthe resulting deflection force is measured in a thin strained section of the load cell. The strainis given by three strain gauges, with quarter-bridge circuitry for each gauge.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka ELAN-projektets enkätundersöknings trovärdighet, genom dess validitet, reliabilitet och generaliserbarhet. Vi har gjort en jämförande fallstudie där en verklig enkätundersökning jämförts med de teoretiska sätten att genomföra en undersökning. Studien är deskriptiv och med ett tvärvetenskapligt angreppssätt. ELAN-projektets enkätundersökning, Metodologiböcker såsom Bryman & Bell vänder sig mot små- och medelstora företag i 30 europeiska länder för att se om det finns behov av stöd för att öka exporten för dessa företag. De undersöker eventuella språksvårigheter samt kulturella skillnader som kan hindra uppkomsten av exportmöjligheter.
