An environmental review has been carried out at FORIA AB, a transportation- and machine service company, to analyze the company?s environmental Aspects from the transportation segment. This report describes the essential background and the methods of identifying and evaluate the environmental Aspects. It also describes how the work with the environmental Aspects often vary between different actors. The design of the ISO 14001 is intentionally broad in order to apply on all sorts of activities and organizations.

This master thesis investigates the user education. Christine Bruce has presented a theory of information literacy in her research which has resulted in seven different Aspects of information literacy. In this study I wanted to investigate what Aspects there were and what they looked like in a practical educational situation. The methods used for this study were observation and a questionnaire. I analysed the observations by using Bruces Aspects of information literacy to group the observed activities into the different Aspects.

Weathering on rocks is an important component of the world?s geomorphology. One way to measure weathering on rocks is to analyse rock hardness. This is a study conducted in the northern hemisphere on granite rocks in Uppsala, Sweden. A Schmidt hammer is used to create a correlation analysis between the Aspects on three glacial erratic boulders and rock weathering.

The European identity plays an important role for the EU and especially within its will to further integrate its citizens, hence it is a way for individuals to not only identify with its nation, yet also with Europe. Previous research has already established that an individual can possess two territorial identities, such as a national and a European identity, above all it has established how the identities can equally interplay. Further it has been explained how territorial identities are composed of two Aspects: civic and cultural. While the previous research has stated how the European identity possesses both Aspects, though to varying degrees, little attention has been put to examine how individuals who possesses multiple territorial identification, defines its European identity. This study therefore aims to study which Aspects, civic or cultural, individuals with a citizenship who possess multiple territorial identification, assign their European identity.

Due to the large selection of banks, it has become more important for banks to be competitive in their services to their customers so they don?t change bank.

AbstractThe aim of this study is to investigate the implementation process and the implementation steering of the social development Aspects, gender equality and integration, in the program for regional development of the region Kronoberg in the period of 2004-2007.The study asks three questions: 1) How have the social development Aspects, gender equality and integration, been implemented in the program for regional development of the region Kronoberg? 2) What has facilitated or hindered the implementation of the two social development Aspects? 3) What possibilities to steer the implementation process of the two social development Aspects exist at the governmental and at the regional level?In order to answer these questions a qualitative method has been used. To be able to analyse the empirical material, which consists of documents and interviews, the theoretical framework comprehends the policy process and implementation steering. The conclusion is that the incorporation of the social development Aspects in the regional development program does not fully correspond with the central intentions, and that is due to circumstances at the regional level..

Graphic design is an integrated part of the public spaces we move through in our daily lives. This thesis explores the emotional Aspects of graphic design, with a focus on environmental graphics for the public space. The goal is to find ways in which the emotional Aspects of a design solution can be varied without compromising the practical Aspects, i.e. affect the conveyance of information. This goal is pursued through an analysis of historical and contemporary literature as well as by design practise.

The literature review examines Aspects important for sustainable building by studying environmental certification systems applicable in Sweden, as well as the BIM tools available on the market to analyze these Aspects. The literature also includes the concepts of BIM and sustainability in order to provide a clearer view of its meaning. The interviews have brought the study's overall understanding of the industry and guidance on the subject.The results are presented in a table, where the Aspects relevant to sustainable building are listed.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate and increase the understanding of a present function of today´s public library, namely the function of meeting place; here called the social function or social space. Two small town libraries are included in the study, and the questions examined are:How is this function described at the two libraries and what similarities and differences are there between the two? How can one describe the relation between how the library as social space is described in research and at the libraries? The theoretical framework used in examining these questions, consists of three different discourses in culture policy (the discourse of state, market and civil society) and theories on civil society and the public library. A summary of current research makes visible eight different Aspects of the public library as a social space. These Aspects functions as parts of the theoretical framework as well.

This essay ventilates the relatively new phenomenon employer branding. Due to societal changes, such as demographical and financial changes, the labour market in Sweden has changed. It is evident that an increasing number of organisations need to put more of an effort in their methods of attracting talent and retaining competence within the organisation. By a case study based on five interviews, the purpose of the study was to compare literature and practice to see how well they compare as well as how employer branding bring about different Aspects of the effect. There was also an ambition to highlight Aspects of employer branding considered important to have in mind when undertaking an employer branding exercise.

The increased travelling of today makes nodes along travelling routes more and more important. This is very much the case of petrol stations. They constitute important nodes in the road network, filling up thirsty fuel tanks and hungry stomachs, guiding road users and providing vehicle-services. In this thesis the role of the petrol station for road users was investigated in order to find out if the petrol station was a potential hot spot. We performed an ethnographic field study at a petrol station and found that a great number of visitor activities took place at the petrol station.
