Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV?s) are nowadays greatly appreciated. The advantage over manned Airplanes are great since UAV?s can be much smaller and therefore lighter. The goal of this project is to evaluate the performance of an environmentally friendly UAV using only lithium-ion batteries.

The aim of this masters thesis is to examine query expansion. Query expansion is the process of adding new terms to a query to improve the retrieval effectiveness. In this study the baseline query was expanded in five different modes. The first expansion strategy was formulated by the inflected terms as the system does not allow truncation, I have inflected the terms, e. g.

At Flight and Systems test Saab AB, a post-processing software is used to process GPS data. A new software by the name GrafNav has been purchased and the purpose of this master thesis therefore became, partly to make a judgment regarding GrafNav?s ability to estimate position, velocity and accuracy, partly to if needed improve the estimate and finally find one or several methods to estimate the position and velocity accuracy. The judgment of GrafNav was performed partly by a comparison to the former post-processing software (PNAV) and partly by a comparison to the Airplane?s inertial navigation system (INS).

As a consequence of the exports of Saab AB?s Airplane 39 Gripen the departmentFATPA has grown and developed substantially in a short period of time. With the aim toclearly define and describe the establishment and its new work procedures and routines,which are meant to be applied after the turn of the year 2005/2006, FATPA is aiming todevelop a management model which will contain the above. I denna litteraturstudie sammanställs tillgänglig litteratur för att undersöka hur sällskapshundar påverkas av stress och om transport är stressande, samt vilka faktorer som är av betydelse under transporten. Stress kan ge både fysisk och psykisk påverkan och på sikt påverka immunförsvaret och öka mottagligheten för infektioner. I flera studier på olika djurslag har en ökning av bland annat hormonerna kortisol, adrenalin och noradrenalin uppmätts vid stress. Olika typer av beteendeförändringar kan också uppkomma i samband med stressfyllda situationer, men vilka beteenden som uppkommer varierar mellan individer och olika stressorer.
