The purpose of this essay is to do a narratological analysis of Utvandrarna by Vilhelm Moberg to see how the form affects the theme of freedom and liberation. I used narratology as the method of analysis and my questions for the text regards the significance of the narrator, the use of focalization, the powers, helpers and opponents, the locations and spaces, and how these aspects affect the theme. In my analysis of the novel I found that the narration took place in three levels. This gave the story different perspectives of the theme; an outer perspective, a semi-distant perspective and a more personal perspective. The focalization of the main characters creates sympathies, and the focalization of non-main characters gives the reader an outer perspective on the characters.

Min förhoppning med den här studien är att bidra till att sprida andra pedagogers erfarenheter av användningen av lärplattan i sin undervisning. Studiens syfte är att utifrån pedagogers erfarenheter beskriva lärplattans funktion i en verksamhet i träningsskolan. Jag undrar hur lärplattan används i verksamheten, enligt pedagogerna? Vilken betydelse de menar att lärplattan har för lärande och undervisning i sin verksamhet? Samt hur lärplattan kan, utifrån pedagogernas erfarenheter, förstås som ett medierande verktyg?Som teoretisk grund använder jag ett sociokulturellt synsätt på lärande. I studien använde jag en kvalitativ forskningsansats och halvstrukturerade intervjuer.

Skolkören har länge funnits som en naturlig del av skolans verksamhet, men den har haft olika betydelse genom läroplanerna det senaste århundradet. Tidigare studier kring skolkörens funktion visar att den sociala aspekten är den som är mest framträdande. Studien har hämtat inspiration från Juvas Liljas (2001). Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka skolkörens funktion och förutsättningar i årskurs 1-6 så som den uppfattas av rektorer och körledare. Följande frågeställningar har använts för att ta reda på detta:1.

Det ställs stora krav på den militära organisationen vid genomförandet av en amfibieoperation. Denna uppgift är något som den svenska försvarsmaktens amfibiekår ej har förmåga till att lösa ut inom ramen för vår organisation. I framtiden ställs det krav på att den svenska amfibiekåren skall kunna vara delaktig i en multinationell expeditionär landstigningsstyrka. Sverige saknar dock doktriner och en militärteoretisk grund för amfibieoperationer. För att tillhandahålla en sådan teoretisk grund avser författaren att använda sig av den brittiska militärteorin för vad en amfibieoperation kräver.

AbstractThis essay aims to problematize and illuminate the connection between special-education and nature-based activities. With a theoretical ground that is based upon a sociocultural perspective I consider the information from the field. Through a qualitative and critical perspective I performed individual interviews with five pupils from the sixth school-year in the Swedish elementary-school. I also performed Focus-group interviews with two educators and three teachers in the same school-form. By a Hermeneutical working-method I have found out that the informants in my survey have a common experience that activities performed in nature has a positive effect on learning.

Andersson, Anna (2008) Vad kan grundskolan lära av särskolan? Att arbeta med matematik med elever i gråzonen. (What can compulsory school learn from the special school for pupils with learning difficulties? Teaching mathematics to children in the gray zone). Skolutveckling och ledarskap, Specialpedagogisk påbyggnadsutbildning, Lärarutbildningen, Malmö högskola. Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka och beskriva hur man på två olika särskolor arbetar med elever i gråzonen och deras matematiska utveckling för att kunna ha nytta av det för eleverna i gråzonen i grundskolans tidiga skolår (F-6). Genom studiebesök och intervjuer med specialpedagoger i särskola har jag tagit reda på hur de arbetar med elever i gråzonen och deras matematiska utveckling.

Under 2011 så utbröt det våldsamma oroligheter i Libyen och Syrien med många civila offer. FN:s säkerhetsråd utfärdade i mars 2011 en resolution om upprättandet av en No-Fly Zone i Libyen. Ryssland har sedan länge haft en uttalad inställning mot att stater lägger sig i andra länders inre angelägenheter. Ryssland avstod från att rösta i fallet Libyen vilket möjliggjorde en humanitär insats. Men avseende Syrien så har Ryssland använt sitt veto två gånger för att stoppa resolutioner som möjliggör en humanitär insats.Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka om Rysslands agerande kan förklaras utifrån realistisk teori inom internationella relationer.

Headwater streams are affected by anthropogenic impacts at multiple scales. One aspect of human impact is sediment transport associated to the abundance of stream structures as large woody debris and the composition of the riparian zone from forest to agricultural landscapes. Riparian buffer zones and stream structures like dead wood are considered as generally important structures for protection against an increasing amount of sediment particles in the water. Hence, in this study these structures were quantified in thirty different stream segments on land and in the water. To measure the transport of sediment Whitlock-Vibert boxes were used in three different types of landscapes; forest, transition and fields. The boxes were left in the stream segments for three months, the taken up and dried and weighed. The results showed that the transition-land in Frösvidalsån had the highest sediment transport. The second highest transport of sediment was in Blackstaån at the fields.

Writing is a critical element for many of the second language learners that I?ve encountered in my work as a Swedish teacher. Therefore, on the basis of Jerome Bruners theories of reflec-tion and learning, was the purpose with this study to examine the scaffolded structured reflec-tion conversation as a method for writing development. Bruner says that the knowledge be-comes deeper when we consciously reflect over it (Arfwedson 1992:110 f).I have used a qualitative method where I let five students write a text in Swedish on the subject "application for internship". After that I held a conversation with each of the pupils.

Dagens samhälle är i stort förändrat och den mängd information som samhället utgörs av ställer stora krav av kunnighet på läs- och skrivförmåga. Läs- och skrivkunnighet handlar om att för att kunna fungera i samhället ska en individ ha förmåga att använda språk och text, att kunna tillgodose de behov och de personliga mål som finns, samt att utvecklas i enlighet med sina personliga förutsättningar. Det finns dock stora skiljelinjer mellan det muntliga och skrivna uttrycket som kan göra det hela än svårare för eleverna i skrivundervisningen. Studiens syfte är att undersöka om och i så fall vilka utmaningar några lärare i årskurs tre uppfattar att elever kan ställas inför i samband med att de utvecklar sitt skriftspråk samt vilka möjligheter som undervisningen kan erbjuda.Studien bygger på den kvalitativa metoden med intervjuer som datainsamling och har det sociokulturella perspektivet enligt Vygotskijs teori.Studien visar enligt lärarnas uppfattningar att undervisningen kan innehålla många bidragande positiva faktorer för att en elev ska bli motiverad till att skriva men det kan också vara en utmaning. En viktig och betydande förutsättning för att eleven ska kunna arbeta med sina skriftliga texter är den runtomliggande miljön.

Almost every company sooner or later ends up in a more or less difficult economical situation. The reason for the economical crisis varies for each individual case but common for them all is that it is the management group that has failed in their work to guide the organisation to avoid a negative result. The next common denominator is that it is the management group that has to handle the changes in the company's environment and lead the company out of the crisis. But how can they do this and take decisions in a rational and effective way and is there warnings signals that the management group missed before the crisis was a fact? This is some of the questions that this study is going to discuss and analyze. The aim of the study is from a management perspective chart the strategic work of the company's management work when handling an economical crisis.

Today, individual indoor stalls and individual outdoor paddocks are the most common way to house horses in Sweden. The way that we manage, house and feed the horses are not optimal for the species natural basic behavioural needs. However, the awareness of this grows in the context of research and the emergence of alternative housing systems. One of the alternatives to the traditional format in individual boxes is called group housing. Group housing systems allow horses to live in herds and they can choose how they want to distribute the hours of the day between movement, resting and foraging. The purpose of this study is to examine how frequently the young horses in a group housing system use the indoor lying area.

This report is of technical character and treats how to plan a small building in Borlänge, Sweden.The technical components that have been treated in the report are the construction, foundation,installations and thermic abilities of the house. In addition to planning this house the report alsocontains a part that deepens in net zero energy buildings. The purpose of the report is toinvestigate if the house in Borlänge can be constructed to meet net zero energy buildingdemands.Energy efficient houses such as passive- and net zero energy houses are showing more frequenton the market in Sweden. Ongoing climate changes and growing consciousness about theenvironment in society have contributed to that the environment is a well discussed topic. Toconsume small amounts of energy and at the same time produce local energy is thereforesomething that lies in the future and future houses.

Public WiFi networks is one of the dominant technologies for users to get public internet access. The problem is that the networks are designed for accessability rather than security ? a problem users seldom are aware of. Users who carelessly access WiFi networks may reveal sensitive information which, among other things, can lead to an identity theft. Previous research suggests that users must be educated and informed about the risks they incur, but not how this should be done.

The thesis examines how sex/gender and sexuality are represented through text and images within the Internet community Sylvia whose primary target group is girls. Through an examination of the aesthetics, the member rules and the choices that constitute the framework for the site, the study observes Sylvia as a cultural context. In relation to this setting, the ten most visited member profiles at the time for the study are more closely examined. These profiles are studied from a constructivist view of sex/gender and are analysed from the perspective of feminist and quee r theory as well as in the light of feministic debates concerning sexuality and erotica. The thesis shows how Internet as a forum and the non-heterosexual context Sylvia open up for a constructivist understanding of sex/gender and also leads to a questioning of "masculinity" and "femininity".
