Denna uppsats syfte är att undersöka hur de danska tidningarna Berlingske och Ekstra Bladet samt de svenska Expressen och Svenska Dagbladet rapporterade och diskuterade om attentatet mot Charlie Hebdo i Paris den 7 januari 2015 veckan efter händelsen. Uppsatsen syftar till att besvara följande frågeställningar: Hur skiljer sig de fyra tidningarna åt i hur de valt att publicera bilder på och ur Charlie Hebdo? Hur ser förekomsten av värdeord ut i de fyra tidningarna kring yttrandefrihet, pressfrihet och extremistisk islamism, i samband med attentatet? På vilket sätt diskuteras yttrandefrihet kontra extremistisk islamism i nyhets- respektive opinionstexter? Vad finns det för tankar bakom publicistiska val och pressetik i samband med Charlie Hebdo-rapporteringen?Resultaten visar att de danska tidningarna använder värderande ord i större utsträckning än de svenska. Det gäller både om orden används i positiv eller negativ kontext.  De visar också att tidningarna gjort olika värderingar när det gäller publicering av omslag samt karikatyrer kopplade till Charlie Hebdo.

This study is based on a qualitative internet research about people with Asperger syndrome and their thoughts and opinions about the difficulties that occurs in the environment outside the home and their experiences of Internet. We have analyzed Internets social influences for those with Asperger syndrome, as a consequence of the difficulties that they meet in other environments. The constructed communities in the environment outside the home and the social interaction that occurs there is not adjusted for those with the diagnosis. This leads to difficulties to be there for those with Asperger syndrome. By doing a content analysis of the assembled data from a community site on the Internet, we found out that the environment on Internet is more comfortable for those with the diagnosis in several ways.

För att stävja spridningen av upphovsrättsskyddat materiel via internet har det i Sverige, med bakgrund i en mängd EU-direktiv, införts en rad olika sanktionsmöjligheter. En rättighetsinnehavare kan bl.a. vända sig till domstol och yrka på att en intrångsgörare ska beläggas med ett förbud vid vite mot att fortsätta med intrånget. Ett sådant föreläggande kan även meddelas en mellanhand, i form av exempelvis en internetleverantör, som i objektiv mening anses medverka till upphovsrättsintrång. I praxis har förbudet kommit att innebära att internetleverantörer ålagts att sluta tillhandahålla internetuppkoppling till internettjänster, vilka möjliggjort spridning av upphovsrättsskyddat material.

I found out that chatting, music/movies, searching for information and using the Internet for entertainment is what most of the participants spent the most time on while using the Internet.

Internet has opened a whole new world when it comes to marketing. Because of this companies can reach out to a broader consumer audience. The idea to write this essay came to mind, when we were asked to design the website of a new registered company named Artoteket. We have seen a revolution in the area of communication on a worldwide scale. We begin talking about terms as globalisation, integration and deregulation of the financial market. Companies have been tax planning for decades, the questions is if Internet has made an increase of companies than uses tax planning and which roll Internet plays. It is hard to really pinpoint all the effects of the Internet because of the relatively new area of research. This thesis will take various factors under study such as globalisation, development of the offshore industry and the fight against harmful taxation by the OECD and other organisations in order to describe the effects of Internet.

Idag går det att publicera och hämta information från databaser på Internet. Inom hälso- och sjukvården kan förbättringar av vården ske om patientjournaler fanns tillgängliga på Internet. Här undersöks om det under svenska förhållanden är genomförbart. Studien syftar till att belysa för och nackdelar med att publicera patientjournaler på Internet samt att belysa specifika egenskaper hos patientjournaler som måste tas hänsyn till vid en eventuell publicering.Informationen om en patient måste skyddas mot att obehöriga kommer åt eller ändrar den. Den måste även vara åtkomlig just då den erfordras av en auktoriserad användare.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att ta reda på vad den elektroniska handeln via digital-TV har för förutsättningar att slå sig in på den redan befintliga marknaden där bland annat Internet finns. Elektronisk handel via digital-TV är en tjänst som inte finns idag, men som skall introduceras under hösten 1999.Eftersom handel via digital-TV inte finns i dagsläget, har en jämförelse gjorts mellan digital-TV och Internet för att på så sätt få ett mer konkret resultat vad det gäller digital-TV. Den elektroniska handeln via Internet är på frammarsch och om tekniken fungerar bra på Internet, kan erfarenheterna även utnyttjas och användas på digital-TV.Rapportens resultat visar att den elektroniska handeln via digital-TV kommer att fungera och även att handel via digital-TV kommer att bli ett komplement till Internet. The aim of this study is to analyze the discussion on the publication of twelve caricatures of the prophet Muhammad, in two Swedish newspapers ? Dagens Nyheter and Sydsvenska Dagbladet. The caricatures were originally published in the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten, in September 2005. Even though the violent protests and attacks against Danish interests gained major media attention in Sweden few ? if any ? major Swedish newspapers published the caricatures.Using Fairclough?s Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), a theory and a method that critically examines the relationship between text, the discourse practice in which text is produced and consumed, and the wider social practice, this study examines why Swedish newspapers chose not to publish any caricatures.The study concludes that the relationship between orders of discourse continuously affect, and is also affected by, Swedish media content.

The aim of my study is to look at two specific schools and their work with Internet in the classroom and compare their work to what experts say about how you should educate. The study focuses on how teachers guide the students to be critical to the information they encounter on the internet. What do the experts say? How should the teachers work with Internet in the classroom? What do the teachers say about their work with Internet? What do the teachers say regarding children and the Internet?  To answer these questions I have interviewed two teachers from different schools, which had classes with children 6 to 8 years old. The schools are very different from each other concerning investment on Internet devices in the classroom.

The essay is a text centred study of ten Young Adult Novels, in which Internet plays an essential part. The structure is put into light out of used narrative techniques of how to create stories and its construction elements. I compare the ten Young Adult novels to each other. My aim is to analyze the functions of the Internet motive in the chosen novels, using different approaches, and enlighten it with concerns to the new phenomenon that Internet is in society. Consequently the essay will also have a mimetic touch to it.The ten novels that I base the analysis on are written of both med and women and have both male and female as main fictive persons, and are from different parts of the world.

The use of social media has increased considerably in recent years and has also caused some problems. It has been notable cases in the media where employees adversely criticized their employer on social networks, which subsequently led to the dismissal of the employee. The purpose of this study is to investigate an employee's right to express themselves about their employers in various forms but the main focus will be on social networks. The study investigates employees on both private and public sectors.Employees have a duty of loyalty to their employer, which means that they must be loyal to their employer and not deliberately harm them. The reason that employed comment his employer on social networks has its basis in that they also have freedom of speech and it is raised in such a case, a collision between their rights and responsibilities as an employee.The employees also hold a critique right entitling them to publicly criticize the employer and its activities.
