The aim of the study was to examine the knowledge that school counsellors in Swedish schools have about Young women with anxiety disorders. The study also examines how the counsellors act when there is a suspicion or a case of anxiety in a female student. With a qualitative approach eight school counsellors were interviewed. The theoretical approach that was used is the sociology of knowledge. Some of the study?s conclusions are that anxiety disorders are frequent among Young girls.

Our language bear traces of who we are and of the culture we live in. As human beings we create language in interaction with other people and with our society. Media and commercials are other factories that strongly influence our everyday life as well as our language. With this study we would like to illuminate how our surroundings influence our language. We focus on the language of Young people and their use of symbols, phrases and expressions when they reflect on relations.

The purpose of this study is to increase understanding of the unemployed youth. To achievethat, we have investigated who the unemployed Young people are, how their wellbeing isaffected and what they need for a change to take place. This study represents seven adolescents? perspective on online poker gambling. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe adolescents? thoughts and experiences of online poker gambling, thus gaining a deeper knowledge and understanding of how gambling affects youths in their living conditions and in their identity development. This was done by studying the symbolism and meaning that gambling has in these youths every day live and in their identity development.

This essay is about the sexual- education at special schools for Young people in the ages thirteen through sixteen with the diagnosis autism. The study aims to identify, describe and understand the teachers? experiences in how the education is practiced in their daily work with these children. The way of procedure we have used in the study is qualitative interviews with teachers at special schools. The result show that how the teachers practice the education depends on how the student group is constructed and the students? qualifications.

The aim of this Master´s thesis is to explore how public libraries in a successful way can work in projects with Young people. It intends to point out different factors that in a legible way affect the accomplishment and outcome of the project. The aim with the study has been to take to find out what Young people has for view/opinion about the police. The theory acts about attitudes and opinions, and a short summary of what the law book says about Young people that have been taken in by the police. Questionnaire survey was done on two different schools in three different classes; total were 49 Young people that filled the questionnaire. T-tests, diagrams and mean were done in order to show the result. The results show that there were some Young people that had a negative attitude opinion to the police.

The aim of this bachelor thesis has been to examine and develop our own understanding about how Young people in Sweden (16-29 years of age), take part in cultural activities. As librarians it is important to know what kind of activities and interests this particular group has. With Pierre Bourdieu?s theoretical framework towards habitus and capital we are interested to see if there is a connection between one?s cultural use and background, if different access to capital with or within groups has an affect or not. With both statistics and interviews with people within our target, we believe this data has been sufficient enough to conduct a good and valid study.

How does the sport influence the creation of an identity for active Young people?? The empirical material has been collected with help of eight semi-structured interviews. Four of them were held with Young people who practised swimming and the other four with Young people who played soccer.
