The purpose with this study is to map the research front and the research base in information science, by using the bibliometric methods bibliographic coupling and author-co citation analysis. The research questions are: 1. What is the nature of the research front in information science, regarding which areas that are being studied? 2. What is the nature of the research base in information science, regarding which authors who are most cited, and how they can be grouped? The data used in the study were gathered from articles published in the journal Journal of the American society for information science and technology, published between 2004-2006, respectively 1986-2006.

This thesis deals with subject-based hierarchical search-services on the World Wide Web. The purpose is to investigate how systems of this kind facilitate information retrieval through subject-based information seeking. Its starting point is taken from the study of texts and qualitative analyses of search-services on the World Wide Web. Important aspects and features of the Internet and the World Wide Web are explained as well. Three systems are examined: Mölndals Stadsbiblioteks Länkkatalog, Svesök, and Alta Vista.

Background: Suicidal patients feelings and experiences of the psychiatric service can be a decisive moment of the following treatment. Although suicide is a common problem all over the world we know very little about the feelings that the patients are feeling in residential psychiatric care. Purpose: The aim of this litterature studie was to describe suicidal patients feelings and experiences of the psychiatric service. Method: Literature study was conducted through a search of articles in different databases. The data has been done as an overview and the data has been analysed with content analysis.

Bakgrund: Sedan den första januari år 2005 ska alla svenska börsnoterade koncerner till följd av EU-lagstiftning följa de internationella redovisningsreglerna IAS/IFRS. En av de redovisningsstandarder som finns i IFRS är IFRS 3 Business combinations som behandlar rörelseförvärv. Övergången till IFRS har lett till att det ställs högre krav på den information som företagen lämnar i samband med sina årsredovisningar jämfört med tidigare regler.Syfte: Att studera om det har skett en förbättring 2012 jämfört med 2006 av de upplysningar som ska lämnas enligt IFRS 3 av företagen noterade på Nasdaq OMX Stockholm. Vidare se om det finns något samband mellan upplysningsgrad och storlek på företagen.Metod: En kvantitativ metod har tillämpats där sekundärdata har samlats in från årsredovisningar för år 2006 och år 2012. Tre separata Chi2-test har sedan utförts för att se om det finns något samband.Empiri: Empirin visar att det har skett en viss förbättring mellan år 2006 och 2012, detta kan dock inte styrkas med Chi2-testet.

Inledning: Bandy har en låg skadeincidens med cirka 7 skador per 1000 matchtimmar. Den vanligaste skadelokalisationen är ansiktet som står för ca en tredjedel av rapporterade skador. Eftersom antalet studier inom bandy är begränsat, finns anledning till att öka kunskapen om skadepanoramat, för att på sikt kunna arbeta förebyggande för att minska antalet skador. Syfte: Att med en kvantitativ ansats analysera rapporterade skador i elitseriebandy herrar 2007-2012. Metod: Resultatet av samtliga inrapporterade skador mellan 2007-2012 har analyserats.

This is a master thesis about the reconstruction of Bibliotheca Alexandrina. With a hermeutical approach utilizing literature review and interviews it examines how the library have come into existence, and what the Swedish efforts have been to help the project along. Using a mainly structural perspective, the major factors examined are world politics, Egyptian society and library values. The conclusion is that myths about the ancient library of Alexandria, the city of Alexandria itself, world politics, a more stable Egyptian society, improved world and Egyptian economy, an improved Egyptian reverence for reading and writing, less censorship, more freedom of speech and Egyptian national pride all have contributed to new library. Swedish efforts by Sida, the Swedish Institute in Alexandria, FAV and SWEBA have mainly been in the areas of information technology, education of Egyptian library staff and childrens literature..

Such a reading raises critical questions concerning the nature of women, and subsequently places man over woman. Persian Letters show how this male dominance gets institutionalized in marriage. The religious life depicted is also distinguished by a non-genuine religious conviction and by acts which take on a simulation form.

The purpose of our master?s thesis is to study the diversity discourse, used in Sweden, particularly the so-called ethnic diversity at the work place discourse.Our aims are to map and analyze the conceptualization of difference used in the diversity rhetoric. We intend to pursue our aim by studying the rhetoric of diversity, used for diversity promotion in the private and public sectors. Also, we will investigate into what conceptualizations of difference are used in the organizations in the name of ?diversity?.

Mindfulness har pa? senare tid ba?de testats och diskuterats som en strategi fo?r att komma tillra?tta med detta problem (Gardner & Moore, 2012; Birrer, Ro?thlin & Morgan, 2012).Syftet med den befintliga studien var att med hja?lp av en pathanalys pro?va delar av Birrer et al.?s (2012) fo?reslagna modell genom att vid tre ma?tningar underso?ka sambanden mellan dispositionell mindfulness, en pa?verkansmekanism (a?ltande) och tva? idrottspsykologiska fa?rdigheter (self-efficacy och a?terha?mtning).Som underlag fo?r studien anva?ndes en enka?t som sammanlagt 65 idrottare varav 33 kvinnor och 32 ma?n besvarade. The urbanization of the world is increasing. How it affects bird populations have been well studied during the last decade, and comparisons between urban and non-urban habitats have been carried out. A common method for measuring habitat quality is to calculate the population density. This method is easy to use, but have been criticized during the last couple of years. In this study, data of population densities was compared with data on reproduction success.

No matter what subject or which grade you are active in, the teachers in Sweden have incommon that they are provided with governing documents that states the guidelines and goalsregarding each subject. Along with these governing documents every teacher has to findmaterial that will be used as the foundation of the teaching. This thesis is a study of howSwedish history teachers define what material they are going to use in their teaching, andwhich the factors are that is affecting these choices. The question whether a child?s ethnicaland cultural background is a factor that affects this choice of material is concerned, as well aswhat is current in Sweden and the world.
