I dansen förhåller sig min kropp och mitt beslut magiskt till varandra : En fenomenologiskt orienterad studie av danspedagogens praktik

This essay is an attempt to portray and explain my work as a dance pedagogue as well as an epistemological overview of the skills and knowledge I use when I teach. The study is phenomenologically oriented and the examples used are from the years when I was teaching at the University College of Dance in Stockholm. The primary objective of the study was to illustrate the practical knowledge of my teaching by examining what lies in the mind and gaze of the dance pedagogue while teaching.Having finished my essay I realize that it has come to be primarily about the body. How the knowledge that is imprinted in my body can only be conveyed when I have a student to teach and how I feel that the intermediary of knowledge occurs. Other recurrent themes are the relations of thought and consciousness to the body.

Sjuksköterskors upplevelse av stress i arbetsmiljön

Studies have shown that stress is common in the nursing profession.Purpose: The aim was to investigate nurses' experience of stress in the work environment at the University Hospital in Uppsala and how nurses deal with this stress and whether the perceived stress experienced affect patient safety and in what way. Method: The study had a descriptive, qualitative design based on nine interviews. The selection criteria for the study was that participants were nurses and that they had worked at least one year within the profession and that they had experienced stress in their work environment. Data from the interviews was analyzed using the qualitative content analysis method by Graneheim and Lundman. Results: The analysis resulted in three categories: "Stress in the workplace?, "stress management" and "patient safety? and showed that all participants had experienced stress repeatedly in their workplaces.

However, reporting these incidents is not always a positive experience. The number of incident reports which are documented are a lot fewer than the number of incidents that actually occur. The purpose of the present study was to describe factors that affect nurses? decisions on whether to report an incident or not.

AbstractThe employer is obliged to initiate negotiations with the union organization to which the employer is bound by a collective agreement. This applies both to decisions which imply a substantial change in workplace operations or employment conditions of the individual employee. In case law this obligation has been very extensive through all cases that have been up in the Swedish Labor court. Due to this fact the employer?s duty to negotiate has been interpreted very broadly.

Skolan som arbetsplats- en studie om psykosocial arbetsmiljö. En kvantitativ prevalensstudie på Ängdala Skolor.

Arbetets struktur kan påverka individens hälsa i både positiv och negativ bemärkelse. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka den psykosociala arbetsmiljön på Ängdala Skolor. En kvantitativ metod har använts där 50 ut av 55 anställda som under våren 2009 arbetade på Ängdala Skolor har besvarat en validerad enkät. Resultatet analyserades utifrån Karaseks och Theorells krav-kontroll- stöd modell som teoretisk referensram tillsammans med teorier kring socialt stöd och stress på arbetsplatsen. Då populationen var liten har resultatet även till viss del jämförts med en tidigare studie inom samma område, utförd av Region Skåne.

Abstract:The aim of this study is to critically analyse the discourse of linkworkers, a integration project in a ?multicultural? school in Malmö. In the project, four persons with different ethnic / cultural background where employed to work as a link between the school and the parents, and between the Swedish culture and the children's and the parent's ?original? culture. My material consists of evaluations of the project and interviews with school staff.

Interventioner för att minska stillasittande på arbetsplatsen : En litteraturstudie

Stillasittande framställs allt mer som en oberoende riskfaktor och är ett vanligt förekommande fenomen på arbetsplatsen. Detta är sammankopplat med en förhöjd risk för de stora folksjukdomarna, exempelvis hjärt- och kärlsjukdomar samt olika cancerformer. Syftet var att undersöka interventioner för att motverka långvarigt stillasittande på arbetsplatsen. Detta examensarbete är en litteraturstudie och tio stycken vetenskapliga artiklar inkluderades. Artiklarna hämtades från databaserna Pubmed och Cinahl, genom sökorden ?sedentary behavior?, ?sedentary behaviour?, ?sitting time? och ?workplace?.

Kontext, utvärdering och användarupplevelse : En studie om kontextens påverkan på användarnas respons vid utvärdering av användarupplevelse

In this paper we explore the relations between context and feedback generated in three user-centered evaluations of a flash-based game. Whether it?s the social context, the physical context or the degree of intrusion from the evaluator, they all contribute to the quality of the feedback received. The selection of test subjects is a narrow process, which gives the above mentioned factors different meaning. Contextual factors have shown to influence the feedback given within both usability and user-experience.

Attraktiv arbetsgivare : En kvantitativ studie inom Luftfartsverket

This study was carried out at Luftfartsverket (LFV Group, Swedish Airports and Air Navigation Services). The aim was to study what characterizes an employer of choice and further to examine how well the employees at Luftfartsverket feel that their employer lives up to this image. A quantitative method was applied in the form of a selfdeveloped questionnaire. It was answered by a random sample of employees at Luftfartsverket.The results showed that salary, good leadership, good relations to colleagues and a sense of participation were important factors to be an employer of choice. In the organization at hand good colleagues were the most fulfilled factor whereas good leadership were the least fulfilled factor.

Att optimera samhället inför klimatförändringar : Sårbarhet och anpassning på dagordningen

This thesis examines the ways in which adaptation and vulnerability are framed in national and sectorial policy-documents dealing with expected societal impacts of climate change. By using theories of discourse and ideology, the analysis aims to find and understand important ideas and presuppositions that are explicitly or implicitly expressed in these documents in order to make possible and tangible the institutional production of policy within the potentially far-reaching problematique of climate change adaptation and vulnerability. The analysis shows that there are two main perspectives through which vulnerability and adaptation are framed; one focusing limits to societal robustness; and one contesting the institutional capacity to implement adaptations. The author understands these framings as complementarily optimizing preconceived social and economic relations, something that might, in fact, reduce the response capacity of people..

Postfashion : En undersökning i 4 akter om hur man finner sin egen roll i modevärlden

I denna processbeskrivning undersöker jag hur jag kan verka som en modedesigner som kan påverka och göra skillnad. Intresset för detta väcktes under ett tidigare projekt då jag i arbetet local relations funderade över hur de val man gör under en designprocess kan påverka samhället i stort. Min undersökning börjar med att jag tittar på andra kreativa personers praktiker för att se hur dem påverkar och gör skillnad, jag genomför också intervjuer med andra verksamma för att undersöka hur dem ser på designerrollen nu och i framtiden, för att sedan undersöka hur jag kan omvandla mina tankar till ett praktiskt arbete. Under resans gång kommer jag fram till att jag kan påverka genom att etablera en plattform utifrån vilken jag och andra kan uttrycka våra tankar om mode. Jag skapar därför ett fanzine vid namn Postfashion som handlar om mode och vars första nummer (som är det som visas på Vårutställningen) är ett samtal om mode och materialitet mellan mig och konstnären Jun O Cindy Calle.

FLYKTEN FR?N VARDAGEN. Om fantasy, eskapism och verklighet

This paper investigates the relations between the fantasy genre and the phenomena of escapism. It also delves into the factors which motivates consumption of various fantasy mediums. This is done through interviews with six different fantasy-consumers, along with two observations; of which one is performed at a science fiction convention and the other at a table-top role playing game. The study resulted in a basic understanding of escapism ? it is not limited to the fantasy genre, and fantasy consumers do not deny that fantasy is a form of escapism.

Tillgänglig teater? : Uppsats om arbetet med och den fysiska tillgängligheten på Wermland Operaoch Västanå Teater

This bachelor thesis is based on how the two cultural institutions in Sweden have been working onincreasing physical accessibility. Based on the three objectives specified by the Swedish Kulturrådet(Swedish Arts Council). These points are 1.forming a workplace strategy, 2. Work to remove simpleobstacles in buildings and 3.Improved Web access in regard to the accessibility for physically disabled.The work regarding the accessibility goals is set on the time frame 2011-2016. The institutions studiedin this paper are Wermland Opera and Västanå Teater and how the two institutions have worked toimplement the three objectives and how the discussion about the accessibility within the two theaters hasbeen organized.The method of information gathering in this paper has been interviews with representatives from the twotheaters.

The purpose of this study is from a case study develop a model that aims to cost effectively improve productivity in a manufacturing production process. The study highlights the importance of having knowledge about customer needs and using a holistic process perspective when improving productivity to identify the relations between the process stations and by this find problems that cause waste and losses in productivity.
