En studie om konflikter i arbetslivet och det  systematiska arbetsmiljöarbetets roll som verktyg till förebyggande arbete.

Abstract The main subject of this essay is conflicts at work and the effect it has on the employee´s health.  I can through various reports read that bad health at workplaces is too high and that conflicts are a reason. What can be done to the work environment so it will be better from a psychosocial perspective? Sweden has a regulation that makes the employer responsible to work for an improvement in the work environment; can these regulations be used in purpose to reduce conflicts?My first question concerns the possibility to establish preventive procedures in the workplace systematic work regarding to improve the work environment. My second question is about the obligations of the employer to attempt to reduce conflicts at the workplace and the third question regards the documenting and monitoring of conflicts and the preventing work to reduce them. The purpose of this essay is to clarify how conflict preventive work can be included in the Systematic work environment management.

Fast lön, provision och lärande? : En kvalitativstudie om förutsättningar och utvecklingsmöjligheter för lärande hos medarbetare i ett callcenter.

In this study we aim to investigate what employees at a callcenter see as prospects, opportunities and barriers of learning within a company. To answer the purpose of this essay, two questions were formulated; "What opportunities for learning does employees experience in the company?" and "How can learning in the workplace improve for the sellers?". First, we present what previous research has highlighted regarding workplace learning and learning within the callcenter industry. Afterwards we present ten semi-structured interviews with leaders and sellers within a telecom company in Stockholm.

Launching and marketing a health food product is associated with larger problems than a launch of a traditional food product. There are several sales channels that can be used for a health food product, for example the product can be sold as a traditional food product, natural health food product or as a prescription drug. A smaller company can however experience problems while launching its product as a prescription drug because of the large costs associated with this particular sales channel. There is often no other alternative than to launch the product as a traditional food product, this can however create other problems because of the existing regulations on what can and cannot be mentioned in the marketing of a health food product. The limited amount of information about the product that can be enclosed together with it makes it hard for a company to differentiate and position it on the market.

Skolsköterskans arbete utifrån ett salutogent förhållningssätt : en litteraturstudie

The objective of this literature study was to describe how the school nurse can adopt the salutogenic perspective in her health promoting work. The articles were examined in order to identify what was written about the school nurse?s work from the salutogenic perspective. In parallel, Eriksson?s, Orem?s, and Newman?s nursing theories were examined from the same perspective.

Kommunicera mera - En studie som belyser människans behov av erkänsla i samband med arbetsplatskonflikter

The aim of the study is to investigate conflicts in working lifefrom an individual and a relational perspective, as well as to illustrate how a conflict ishandled as part of a work organisation and a working environment.When a person experiences a conflict at work what do these experiences involve and how dothey affect the well-being of the person involved and the picture he or she has of him orherself?How does a workplace conflict develop over time and how can we understand its origin andcourse?How do individuals experience the way a conflict is handled in a workplace in relation to thestructure of the organisation and leadership?The study is based on a qualitative interview method with threeindividuals who have experienced workplace conflict. Through our study we endeavoured tofind an in-depth understanding conveyed through the life world perspective of theinterviewees, which is our empirical data. The analysis is related to the study?s background ofearlier research and theory within the field of workplace conflict.On the basis of our study can we illustrate that in order to prevent and handleworkplace conflict, clear communication and individual resources are required; these include:a reflexive ability to work out issues independently.

Att använda sig av hälsopromotion i grupputveckling. : Strävan mot ett team.

Detta är en fallstudie som handlar om de varierande uppfattningar som en arbetsgrupp vid en vårdavdelning har haft av ett påbörjat arbete med grupputveckling. Denna grupp gavs möjlighet för forskaren att studera under hösten 2013 och en studie av denna arbetsmetod är idag aktuell. Arbetet med grupputveckling har skett genom en modell innehållande hälsopromotion. För att ta reda på gruppens uppfattningar av denna metod genomfördes kvalitativa enskilda intervjuer med dem. Materialet har till en början inspirerats av en fenomenografisk analysmetod.

"Om individen mår bra, mår organisationen bra" : En studie av hur en organisations hälsofrämjande arbete uppfattas av anställda

Studien handlar om hälsofrämjande arbete i en organisation kallad organisation X. Syftet med denna studie är att utifrån Antonovskys begrepp känslan av sammanhang (KASAM) utveckla kunskap om hur en organisations hälsofrämjande insatser stämmer överens med hur personalen uppfattar det hälsofrämjande arbetet. En eventuell skillnad mellan organisationens insatser och personalens uppfattning är viktig att uppmärksamma, då de insatser som görs från organisationens sida är tänkt att främja medarbetarnas deltagande i det hälsofrämjande arbetet och utifrån de förutsättningar som finns i organisationen.Jag utgår från Antonovskys KASAM och använder mig av begrepp som KASAM, hanterbarhet, begriplighet och meningsfullhet, stressorer, salutogenes, patogenes och hälsofrämjande ledarskap.  Empirin består av intervjuer med anställda i organisation X. Resultatet har delats in i två delar, en del som handlar om personalavdelningens uppfattning om det hälsofrämjande arbetet i organisation X och en del om de anställdas uppfattning om organisationens hälsofrämjande arbete.  Själva analysen som genomförs är indelad i olika rubriker. Synliggörandet av skönlitteraturen: exponering som förmedlingsmetod på folkbibliotek

The aim of this study is to examine the fiction promoting role of public librarians through their fiction displays. The study covers three problems: What reasons do public librarians give for their selection of displayed fiction? How do public librarians view fiction displays in relation to other promotion strategies? How do public librarians think that promotion through fiction displays will evolve in the future?The results of the study have been analyzed using Jofrid Karner Smidt?s theory of how public librarians view their promotion of fiction. The concepts used are promotion due to public demand, actively recommending and informative promotion, and through dialogue. To account for the problems investigated in the study, eight librarians have been questioned through semi-structured interviews.

"Det handlar om att hitta rätt bok till rätt person vid rätt tillfälle": En undersökning av läsfrämjande verksamhet för ungdomar i åldern 13-19 år.

The purpose of this Masters thesis is to investigate librarians views on reading and reading promotion for young people. The main issue is if activities in reading promotion for people between the ages of 13-19 years can result in inspiring non-readers to actually become readers. To find the answers, qualitative interviews were held with eight librarians. The literature review covers research on the reasoning of young people on reading, a historical review of fiction and reading, a review of arguments on the benefits of reading and finally a chapter which concerns reading promotion activities. The result of this study showed that the conceptions of reading promotion and book talk are very complex and that they each can have different meanings.

Background: Documents and legislation inform us that parts of the public health service of Sweden, at a political level, aim to support people?s sexual health. Statistics show there has been an increase among young woman, seeking help for sexual pain during intercourse. The diagnosis that the media has come to observe lately is vulvar vestibulitis. In general there is a lack of knowledge about the existence of this state of pain and its causes, which impacts woman to get appropriate help and support in time.

Background: Moral distress is an increasing concern among nurses in their workplace. Previous research has suggested that moral distress is associated with ethical climate and job dissatisfaction. Economic restraints in the organization have led to loss of nurses from the workplace. Aim: To examine nurses experience of moral distress and their causes. Method: The study was a literature review. BACKGROUND: The relationship between physical activity and health versusphysical inactivity and poor health are well known. Ethnic minorities are generallyless physically active than the residence country's majority population andgenerally have a poorer health status. The study has a health promotion perspective.PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to describe factors that influencephysical activity among middle-aged and older persons, belonging to an ethnicminority. METHOD: The method used to answer the purpose is a literature-basedstudy. The searching for literature has been carried out in a systematic way.Scientific articles to base the results on, has been gathered from various databases.Included articles were analyzed with a qualitative content analysis and identifiedsimilarities and differences in the content were divided into themes and categories.RESULTS: Recurrent themes in the literature, that influence physical activity inmiddle-aged and older people that belong to an ethnic minority, was support, healthand illness, external factors, internal factors, community related and socioeconomicfactors and ignorance and beliefs.

People?s work life is essential to their health, since we spend a lot of time at work. The aim of this study was to find out which factors that relate to nursing staff?s health and stress level from a general perspective.

Skolsköterskans strategier för att skapa ett stödjande elevhälsosamtal

Sedan den första skolsköterskan anställdes 1919 i Stockholm har skolsköterskorna bedrivit ett hälsofrämjande arbete på olika sätt. På senare år har hälsobesöket med elevhälsosamtalet hamnat i fokus och detta arbete syftar till att beskriva skolsköterskornas uppfattning om elevhälsosamtalet i grundskolan och på gymnasieskolan. En fokusgruppsintervju med fem skolsköterskor från Göteborg genomfördes och materialet bearbetades fenomenografiskt i en pilotstudie. Resultatet presenterades som tre huvudkategorier: ?Att använda en strategi?, ?Att skapa en relation? och ?Att utvärdera?.

As a data collection method we've used semi-structured interviews and we have implemented them in five female heads in a medium-sized municipality in Sweden.
