The aim with the present study was to investigate whether there is a difference between the course participants who find their way to the dog-school respective the Swedish Working Dog Association. The study have focused on four issues; why the course participants have chosen the dog-school respectively the Swedish Working Dog Association, why the participants bought their dog, if the participants are satisfied with their dogs and if it is more likely that they turn to the dog-school?s than to the Swedish Working Dog Association with their first dog?
Course participants from two dog-schools and from two of the local clubs belonging to the Swedish Working Dog Association in Skaraborg, Sweden, answered a questionnaire. In total 85 answers were collected, including 60 from the course participants from Swedish Working Dog Associations and 25 from the dog school?s course.
Utmattningsdepression : En studie om det moderna arbetslivets relation till psykisk ohälsa utifrån fem kvalitativa intervjuer
The purpose of this essay is to try to understand the relationship between the structures of modern Working life and the development of burnout. By using the method of qualitative interviews we wanted to see if the Effort-Reward Imbalance Model could be applied to the data we had collected. Two questions have been highlighted in our research: ? Is it possible to establish a relationship between the structures of modern Working life and the development of burnout among the subjects interviewed? ? Is it possible to explain the development of burnout among our interviewed subjects through the Effort-Reward Imbalance Model? Our theoretical frames are the general theories of the modern society and the modern Working life as developed by Anthony Giddens, Ulrich Beck and Zygmunt Bauman. We have also used Johannes Siegrist?s medical-sociological Effort-Reward Imbalance Model (ERI-Model).
Arbetsvillkorens samband med sjukfrånvaro och sjuknärvaro : En studie av hemtjänstpersonal
Sickness absence is a measure of health and is therefore an important issue. To get a complete picture it´s important to also include in the discussion sickness presenteeism, Working while ill, and voluntary absence, staying at home without illness. Working conditions have been proven to play a role for the three aspects which is why this study aims to further investigate the connections between them. The method used was secondary processing on interview data collected from two home care teams, one having a low and the other a high sickness absence. The results showed that there were big differences concerning Working conditions, where the group with the high sickness absence perceived more stress, less control and less support from colleagues and superiors.

This essay is about the Swedish Working woman in the early 1930s. The empirical data consists mainly of Arbetarkvinnornas Tidning (AKT), a Swedish Communist magazine which was launched in December 1929. A qualitative discourse method has been used. Texts, articles, letters to the editor and reports about social conditions in Sweden and Soviet during the years 1929-1932 has been examined. Soviet women models and ideal types are compared with the image of the Swedish Working woman.
Interpersonell problematik och arbetsallians i psykoterapi : Klientens upplevelse och förändring av interpersonell problematik och dess relation till arbetsallians i psykoterapi
The purpose of this study was to examine interpersonal problems and its relationship to the Working alliance in psychotherapy. To examine this, data was used from Umeå and Lund University psychology practice client database, which clients responded to by using the self-assessment scales Inventory of Interpersonal Problems Circumplex Scales and the Working Alliance Inventory. The sample consisted of 201 participants that answered the questionnaires both before and after psychotherapy. A second sample consisted of 93 clients who specifically sought help for interpersonal problems. Results showed that the level of interpersonal problems before and after psychotherapy changes.

Styrkor och svagheter med problembaserat lärande-en metastudie
AbstractProblem-based learning (PBL) was from the beginning developed in medical school, but is today used in education in other programmes as well. Investigations about PBL have been conducted in different disciplines and there is also metastudies. In this paper, a metastudy of 8 bachelor degree papers have been conducted. The questions answered were: which methods were used to investigate PBL in primary, lower secondary and upper secondary school,which advantages were found in Working according to the PBL method, which disadvantages were found in Working according to the PBL method and did teachers and students views about advantages and disadvantages about PBL as a method differ and if they did, how? The results showed that mostly qualitative methods were used to investigate the PBL as a method, mostly abilities of social qualities and independence were trained in Working according to PBL, a disadvantage was that Working according to the PBL method was considered more resourse consuming than traditional teaching methods and teachers and students views about PBL did not differ considerably.

The purpose of this thesis is to study how organisations are Working with repatriation of employees who have been Working abroad, especially regarding how their experiences and competences are being utilised and transferred within the company. A qualitative abductive method is used, since the aim is to obtain an understanding of this phenomenon. The main source of information has been 21 interviews. The interviews were executed in two steps; a preliminary study with nine Swedish organisations was followed by our main study, containing 12 interviews with repatriates, their colleagues, and personnel employed at the International Assignment departments at Scania and Volvo. The conclusion of this thesis is that large Swedish companies, which have Swedish employees Working abroad do not seem to be Working with repatriation according to suggestions given by the theories, even though their performances are better than earlier research implies.

AbstractMy study is about Working memory and Working memory abilities for children with concentration difficulties. I have looked at literature and current research. I have also done an interview study on three pedagogues who have experience of the problem area.The conclusion I can draw from my investigation is, when it comes to Working memory and what children with concentration difficulties can have problem with, is often shown when instruction is given in several stages and when the child come to the last instruction they sometimes have forgotten what the first instruction was. Special questions, image, image schedules and written instruction can help the child to remember. I also found that the pedagogues not only looked at Working memory, but they also examined how the child hear and see, therefore they look at the ability of how the child notice what they hear and see and how they use it in their every day living.
Impact of veterinary assistance on the health of working horses in Nicaragua
Working horses in developing countries are mostly used for transportation. They are often owned by people with limited economical resources and lack of knowledge about how to take care of the horses and due to this the horses often suffer from problems such as dehydration, poor body condition, lesions and parasitic infections. The aim of this master thesis was to investigate if free veterinary care improved the health and hydration status of Working horses in Nicaragua and it was performed as a part of a project called ?Free veterinary assistance for Working horses and training of their owners as veterinary promoters in the Pacific coast of Nicaragua?. Five parameters were used to investigate whether free care improved the health of Working horses in six towns along the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua.

Working environment.Schenker Logistics is one of the world's leading providers of integrated logistics services.Schenker Åkeri AB is a subsidiary to Schenker Logistics and transports 2.4 million tons ofgoods yearly.The project started with a background study to evaluate drivers Working environment. Wehave studied goods receptions, the Working environment, strain injury and injury mechanisms.Methods used was observations, tests, questionnaire surveys and ergonomic andbiomechanical calculations.One result of the study is a Working model, which gives recommendations for the maximumweight a driver should push and pull.

We had previous knowledge that the salutogenic Working way is an ongoing work of development in several communes, and therefore we chose to study in a profound way how this work of development affects the middle managers Working situation. To reach a deeper knowledge about how the salutogenic way of Working affects the middle managers Working situation we conducted a qualitative study with been seven semi-structured interviews with middle managers in different geographical communes.
