The report contains a survey on telecommuting in nature and how concepts around that information could look like. The client for the project is Lars Sandberg, Dotank AB in Karlstad. The project is implemented in the course Bachelor of Science in Innovation and Design, MSCG22 of the faculty of health, science and technology at Karlstad University in the spring of 2014.Working flexibly and remotely in the so-called knowledge based professions is growing. That nature is an important source of recovery is a fact. The literature search in this report shows that there are factors that create both physical and psychological stress on most office workers while nature is a source of recovery and inspiration.

During the spring semester 2012 Robin Westlund has accomplished ?Controlled interaction for more creative meetings - Summit Flexiwall? with the individual focus on social communication based on visual interaction in future office. The project was a part of the course Degree Project for degree of Bachelor of Science in Innovation and Design Engineering (MSGC12) which includes 22,5 ECTS Credits. The course is a part in the program Innovation and Design Engineering program within the Faculty of Technology and Science at Karlstad University.Assigner of the project was Moelven Eurowand AB with their head office in Örebro. The company manufactures and assembles entire room solutions for offices.

I mitten av 1900-talet steg antalet kvinnor pÄ arbetsmarknaden dramatiskt vilket fick tillföljd att debatten kring möjligheten till balans mellan arbete och fritid, work-life balance, tog fart pÄ allvar.Det övergripande syftet med denna studie Àr att bringa en bredare förstÄelse kring kvinnor i förhÄllande till aspekter av arbete, som berör balansen mellan privatliv och yrkesliv. Intentionen Àr att tillföra personalomrÄdet en djupare och bredare förstÄelse kringde villkor som kvinnliga arbetstagare dagligen mÄste förhÄlla sig till och dÀrmed ocksÄ arbetsgivare.Resultatet visar, utifrÄn kvinnornas berÀttelser, att samhÀlleliga förutsÀttningar för balans och integration, jÀmstÀlldheten i parrelationen och dess betydelse för balans och integration samt kvinnornas egna strategier kring balans och integration Àr viktiga aspekter för kvinnorna i hur de balanserar och hanterar work-life balance.Det har Àven visat sig att förÀndringar i ovannÀmnda perspektiv av work-life balance Àr smÄ mellan generationerna. I de samhÀlleliga förutsÀttningarna för balans och integration syns tydliga förÀndringar mellan generationerna. Politiska och organisatoriska förutsÀttningar har förÀndrats över tid. Nya hjÀlpmedel och möjligheter för individen har etablerats och den samhÀllsekonomiska situationen förÀndrats.

This essay aims to explore the popularity of health resorts through a patient?s perspective. What did the patients look for at the resort, which they could not find in the official health care? A basis for the analysis is Bonnie Blair OÂŽConnor?s theory of Health Belief Systems.

The Swedish construction industry is dominated by men; however this is starting to change. The average age of Construction Engineers is high and approximately 40 per cent of the employees will retire by the year 2015. Currently, female engineers dominate the graduating classes of Swedish Universities but this is not reflected in the Swedish Construction industry.With so many female engineers available, why is this? Does it require a change in company culture and their condition of work to attract them? Is it the attitude towards women in the industry among the employees that has to be changed? Or is it a woman?s thoughts and prejudices of the industry that creates obstacles?The purpose of this final thesis is to describe how contracting firms in the construction industry can make themselves more attractive for female engineers. To reach the purpose, a study among salaried employees and craftsmen was conducted.

GrÀset Àr apoteksgrönt eller var gÄr grÀnsen för ett grÀnslöst sprÄk : om nationell identitet i svensk sprÄkpoesi

Based on the on the assumption that the two recent Swedish poetry collections mil by Anna Hallberg and mallamerik, mallamer, malameri, mallame, amerik, mallameka, merikka, by Lars Mikael Raattamaa, are constructed with theoretical questions about identity, national identity, language hierarchy and power in mind, this study aims to investigate the ways in which these issues come to expression. Simplified, the term language-poetry, or sprÄkmaterialism, can be used to describe a language-philosophical poetry that aims to eliminate the hierarcic structures between writer and reader in a text and invite the reader to become the co-worker of it. The study shows that by different ways of eliminating the centre of the text, the text is made democratical. But one question that this study asks is how can a nation's conventional and standardised written  language ? the language of the centre ? be used to write itself out of this centre into the margin? Stepping from a theoretical background of postcolonial theories on identity and national identity, including reflections as those given by Benedict Anderson, Madan Sarup, Timothy Brennan, Stefan Helgesson and Mia Cuoto, the analysis points out how this poetry laborates with the terms bugging, repetition, national language identity, and space as poetic material, in order to work in line with ? and contrary to - conceptions of a unified and shared language.

Svensken i fÀlt : Svenskhet och soldatideal i dokumentÀra skildringar av den svenska insatsen i Afghanistan

The purpose of this thesis is to study how swedishness is constructed and narrated in two Swedish documentary series that picture the Swedish participation in the international ISAF mission in Afghanistan. The main focus lies on how the Swedish soldier as such is portrayed, on which values, characteristics and qualities that they are said to embody and how these are linked to notions of swedishness, particularly the strong historical narrative, formed during the second half of the twentieth century, that defines Sweden as a peaceful, neutral and humanitarian state, with peaceful, enlightened and democratically minded citizens. Theoretically it draws on the concept of metanarrative to explain how ideas of shared national origin translates in to a broad organizing discourse, that defines, interprets and communicates notions of what it means to be a Swede and what is needed to make claims on swedishness. Another concept, that of national bodyscape, is also used to further define and explain how ideas of nationality are embodied and take the form of specific characteristics and  personal qualities. The meaning-making in these two series makes use of the above mentioned definition of swedishness as defined by humanitarian concerns, democratic ideals and moral superiority to construct an image of the Swedish soldiers as on the one hand soft, humanitarians, who are needed in Afghanistan because of their especially strong sense of justice and moral, and, on the other, as tough soldiers, who are able to participate in every aspect of the war as fighters.

The purpose of this study was to conduct a qualitative study with a case study research design, where we studied social workers and politicians view on honor-related problems of underage girls and boys in the age 13-17. We need knowledge about honor related violence and oppression in the political community and social services to work with honor-related problems. Political decisions affect how social work is developed around the honor problem; therefore, it is also important to highlight this direction for the work. It requires a knowledge complement of honor-related problems not to risk exposing the child to further risk from the family (Hedersförtryck, 2009). This is to live up to, for example the law of Social Services, school law and Human Rights (Hussein & Kinuka-Svedberg, 2010).

De ledarbeteenden som anvÀndes i störstutstrÀckning var berÀttigande och erkÀnnande. Utveckling och visionerande anvÀndes allraminst. LVM-lagen : En kvalitativ studie om socialsekreterares svÄrigheter med tillÀmpningen av LVM-lagen

Lagen (1988:870) om vÄrd av missbrukare i vissa fall (LVM) Àr en tvÄngsvÄrdslag och Àr den enda lagen som avviker frÄn frivillighetsprincipen i socialtjÀnstlagen, vilket ger socialsekreterarna möjligheten att gÄ emot individens fria vilja. Studien syftar till att belysa de faktorer som kan bidra till vilka svÄrigheter socialsekreterare kan stÀllas inför i relation till LVM-lagstiftningen, individens rÀttssÀkerhet och sjÀlvbestÀmmanderÀtt. Syftet Àr ocksÄ att problematisera socialsekreterarnas tillvÀgagÄngssÀtt gÀllande tillÀmpningen av LVM-lagstiftningen och om mÄl och syfte uppfylls. De teoretiska utgÄngspunkter som anvÀnds för att kunna analysera det empiriska materialet Àr teorier om socialsekreterarnas handlingsutrymme och etiska dilemman som kan uppstÄ i relation till klienten samt teorier om makt och motivation. Psykisk ohÀlsa - eller ÀndÄ inte? : om hur ungdomars psykiska ohÀlsa har förÀndrats i en tid av vÀlfÀrdsnedskÀrningar och kulturell modernisering

In recent times statistical findings suggesting a deteriorating mental health among teenagers, have been published. Not only did I find the lack of an all-inclusive analysis problematic, but also the fact that the studies themselves where often insufficient. Thus my purpose has been to chart these statistical studies, and then scrutinize the results.My method has been inspired by critical theory, where an interpretive starting point, self-reflection, and the idea that man and society interacts as a whole, is of great importance. Aside from the above mentioned studies, I have also employed secondary empirical data from TV, newspapers and the Internet. My own experience as a social worker has also been an important resource for this paper.

Mamma, pappa och socialtjÀnst : Socialsekreterares förhÄllningssÀtt till förÀldraförmÄga

Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka hur barnavÄrdsutredande socialsekreterare förhÄller sig till mamma- och papparoller i utredningsförfarandet. Vi ville studera detta ur ett genusperspektiv för att se om socialsekreterare tolkar egenskaper och förÀldraförmÄgor olika beroende pÄ om de innehas av en man eller en kvinna. Vi valde att göra en vinjettstudie med en kvalitativ ansats. Det deltog sex socialsekreterare i studien, vilka fick resonera kring förÀldraförmÄgor i enskilda intervjuer. Den fiktiva fallbeskrivningen utgick frÄn en orosanmÀlan kring en tvÄÄrig flicka.

Industry companies have standardized requirements and companies that works with development in production has unique qualifications. The public employment office was created during a time that each tailored to then general requirements were dominating and the adaptation average appropriate worker and appropriate work where general.
