To work and live in the same place where ones employer also is the landlord, can create a situation with many special requirements for the individual. Constrains regarding time, space and impact on social life is likely to appear. Based on theory and empirical research about the Boundaryless work and the Psychological contract the purpose of this report is to examine employees who live and work at the same place. This is done by studying the regulation regarding time and space factors and the psychological contracts in expectations and in violation of the psychological contract and the risks associated with this like Locked-in factors. The study includes interviews with managers and employees (n=9).

The purpose of my study is to investigate the wideness of working with fiction in education during the early years in primary school. I want to see in what way fiction is involved and why the teachers choose to work the way they are with fiction. I also want to see what kind of effects this work could have on the development of the pupils. I've done interviews with four teachers to find out about their opinions when it comes to involve fiction into the education. The teachers are all working with pupils between nine and eleven years old.

Karriärcoaching är en tjänst som ökat kraftigt på den svenska marknaden. Tidigare studier inom området har visat att en stark självkänsla stärker en persons hälsa och underlättar för denne att hantera problem. Syftet med studien var att undersöka om karriärcoaching har någon påverkan på prestationsbaserad självkänsla, känslan av kontroll (Locus of Control) samt självbemästring av tankar och känslor (Self-Efficacy). Genom en enkätundersökning har en grupp som genomfört karriärcoaching jämförts med en kontrollgrupp som ej genomfört karriärcoaching. Ett oberoende t-test gav en signifikant skillnad i Locus of Control (p<.05).

Syftet med studien var att undersöka vilka uppfattningar sex elever, som regelbundet praktiserat yoga, har om yogans betydelse för stress, koncentration och lärande. Studien bygger på en kvalitativ undersökning av djupgående intervjuer och på forskningsrapporter. Syftet var, att med intervjuerna som grund, ta reda på om yogan har någon effekt på stress, och om den kan skapa bättre förutsättningar för koncentration och för lärande. Sammanfattningsvis visar resultatet på att eleverna uppfattar att yogapraktiken givit dem ett instrument att hantera stress. De kunde uppfatta ett gynnsamt samband mellan yogapraktik och skolarbete.

Studien handlar om stress i förskolan. Syftet med studien var att ta reda på hur lärare i förskolan upplever stress i sitt arbete. Arbetet begränsades av följande frågeställningar:Hur påverkas lärare i förskolan av stress? Vad är det som gör att lärare i förskolan blirstressade? Vad gör lärarna för att försöka minska stressen i förskolan? Somundersökningsmetod användes kvalitativ intervju och intervjupersonerna var fyrastycken förskollärare i en mellanstor stad, de jobbade alla inom kommunala förskolor.Studien visade att påverkan av stress hos lärare i förskolan var väldigt individuellberoende på vilka tidigare erfarenheter man hade. Det framkom att förskollärarnapåverkades av stress genom trötthet, känslor av frustration och otillräcklighet.

The aim of the study was to explore the psychological well-being of a group of adolescents in relation to how they regarded achieving in school, in a gender perspective. Twenty semi-structured interviews were conducted with students aged 17-19 at a high-achieving school in a big city in Sweden. The interviews were analyzed thematically and the results showed that the adolescents acted differently as well as regarded achieving in school differently depending on gender. The young women were driven by ambition, they were high-achieving and planning for the future. The young men cared less about achieving and thought more about the present.

The purpose of this study is to perform an in-depth analysis of what effects a privatization of a service organization has on the management control system within the organization. The paper studies a service organization which provides service for the county council in Östergötland, Sweden. The result is based on interviews with several people, both within the acquiring private company and also within the county council in Östergötland, and analyzed using Samuelson?s (2005) framework from his study ?Organizational, Governance and Control ?. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva personers upplevelse av stress under deras vårdtid på intensivvårdsavdelning. Sexton vetenskapliga artiklar som svarade för syftet analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys med manifest ansats. Analysen resulterade i fyra kategorier: att det var fasansfullt och skrämmande, att vara beroende av andra, att inte kunna göra sig förstådd och inte förstå och att ständigt bli störd.

Our theoretical framework is built upon Elisabeth Tallaksen Rafste?s concept about the values of school libraries to students. ABSTRACT The aim of this thesis is to illustrate how surgical operation theatre nurses perceive debriefing within emergency health care. The study has a qualitative design with semi structured interviews that have been performed with seven operating room nurses working in emergency health care. The strategic selection consists of professional operation theatre nurses working in emergency care at Uppsala University Hospital. The main goal of this thesis is to increase the understanding of debriefing and to highlight the need of debriefing after difficult or unexpected events in the emergency health care profession.The interviewed nurses perceive debriefing as an important way to develop the day to day work, but also as a way to unburden the staff at the time of bigger traumas. Even though the effect of debriefing is not univocally positive in the literature, the staff perceives that it reduces different kinds of stress.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to investigate the importance of a school library for youths, age 14-16, from their perspective. We intend to study how they use and experience the school library both for educational- and leisure related purposes. We also intend to inquire their possibility to influence their school library. The literature that has been used consists of material from research concerning youth culture and school library.
