Stress i sjuksköterskors arbete är ett ökande fenomen. Yrket har under åren genomgått förändringar som medfört ökad stress för sjuksköterskor. Stress kan leda till utbrändhet och hälsoproblem samt ge konsekvenser för patienter. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva sjuksköterskors upplevelser av arbetsrelaterad stress. Femton vetenskapliga artiklar motsvarande syftet analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

This report is an attempt to clarify how religious and non-religious views-of-life [livsåskådningar] are created through the collaboration and opposition of religious and scientific elements/ideas. This with the hope of reaching a fruitful result related to the solution of world-view related conflicts, such as the ones existing between science and religion, on an individual and societal level.This is accomplished with the help of two assertions: (1) Mankind has a need to explain its existence and surroundings. (2) Religion and science has their origins in the same seed and aim to serve the same purpose, or function. Together these two assertions lay the theoretical foundations of this report which implies that all humans have an innate need of sustaining a stable world-view.The result of this report is that a final solution to world-view related conflicts are beyond reach as our mental and physical nature limits us. However there are strategies for minimizing world-view related conflicts effect on society..

In this diploma work we present the results from a study of how adult immigrants utilise the services provided by the public library in Biskopsgården, Gothenburg. A survey encompassing 51 library visitors of foreign origin and an interview with two librarians at the library were performed.The results from the survey show that the majority of the informants were male students inages from 26 to 45 years and that they had been living in Sweden for a maximum of five years. 73% of the informants used the library to borrow literature in Swedish, 53% to read newspapers and periodicals in their native language, 43% to borrow literature in their native language and 43% to read newspapers and periodicals in Swedish.These results were compared with two other related studies with which partial correspondencewas found. This Bachelor?s thesis is related to the area within library and information studies that focuses on information seeking and information practices. The study deals with how politically engaged young people seek information in relation to their political interests. The purpose of the study is to create an understanding of the roles that different forms of information-related activities play within the framework of political interest and of the feelings, experiences and challenges that such activities may give rise to for those involved. The study also discusses purposes and motivation for information seeking and use in political engagement.

The purose of the study is to increase knowledge regarding systematic enviromentarl work in an organization that works with road services. Work on the road is done in a hazardous environment with constant danger regarding the life of the individual. The site of the work varies in accordance with where the needs ae . This requires skilled workers capable of working independently and that they are experienced din doing their own risk assessments in accordance with the individual believes that the situation calls for work to be performed safely. The study was conducted with a qualitative research approach in which four employees of different positions, knowledge, experience and vision to work in a hazardous environment were interviewed. The focus rests on the organization, management, and individual aspirations for a safe and secure working environment. The study adds weight to the relationship between the purchaser of the work and the organization as a prime contractor due to the compexity of the organization.

Intensivvårdssjuksköterskans (IVA-sjuksköterskan) arbete på en intensivvårdsavdelning (IVA) består definitionsmässigt av bedömning, monitorering, behandling och vård av patienter med potentiell, reversibel svikt i ett eller flera organsystem. Arbetet innebär snabba beslut och varierande arbetsbelastning som i sin tur kan leda till stress. Syftet var att belysa orsaker till stress hos IVA-sjuksköterskan samt hur IVA-sjuksköterskan upplever stress i sitt arbete på IVA. Litteraturstudie har använts som metod för att besvara syftet. Litteratursökningen resulterade i sexton artiklar, vilka har granskats avseende vetenskaplighet och relevans för studiens syfte.

This study deals with the complex phenomenon of occupational health. There is knowledge of how a good work environment should look like, but despite this, many employees experiences ill health in the workplace mainly in the form of neck and back pain. This study is a case study conducted in a high-risk workplace. The overall purpose was to describe and analyze the health situation of a specific company with neck and back problems. Mainly, eight interviews had been used as the data collection method, but additional observations had also been implemented.

Methods. The study had a descriptive design with qualitative approach and was carried out through semi-structured interviews with 14 nurses in home health care from two medium-sized Swedish municipalities. The material was analyzed with manifest and latent content analysis. Findings. The underlying theme that emerged in the study was: Working with palliative care in the patient´s own homes is positive but challenging. Informants describe among other things that they perceived palliative home care as meaningful and that relatives have a central role in the palliative home care since they are close to the patient around the clock. The stress that emerges from the heavy work load and the long geographic distances are described as strenuous and to affect the care in a negative way. Informants describe the home environment as challenging as it is often not adapted for care and the collaboration with the palliative team is described to be experienced as both positive and negative.

Abstract The sociological problem of this C-essay is sociology of emotions. This paper deals with experiences of emotions and work environment for people who work in human service organizations, and has been limited to the profession of recreation leader.The purpose of this paper is to examine how emotions affect the recreation leader?s work. For this we used eight qualitative interviews with recreation leaders from different youth recreation centers. What we have found in this study is that recreation leader?s work includes both positive and negative aspects.

The purpose of this study is from a teacher?s perspective to examine how schoolteachers experience the possibilities of learning from each other within their work team and to shed some light on how teachers believe that cooperation affects their ability to learn and improve on a daily basis. My research questions are: What is the general discussion among the teachers concerning daily capacity building from enhanced teamwork? How important is well-functioning cooperation between co-workers for learning and daily capacity building? What are the prerequisites for a well-functioning learning situation within the work team?The study is based on five qualitative interviews with teachers within the same school but from different teaching backgrounds based on what grade they teach, what subjects they teach, and they belong to different work teams within the school. The interviews are semi-structured.The results have been analysed from a perspective based on the theories of organisational pedagogy and learning organisations.The results implies that the work teams does not function as a forum for exchanging experiences and learning from each other.

Vi har utfört en kvalitativ undersökning om barn och stress i årskurs 3. Syftet var att ta reda på dels vilka faktorer som utvecklar stress dels hur eleverna mår och beter sig. Syftet är också att ta reda på hur pedagoger arbetar för att förebygga stress och vilka åtgärder de använder sig av. Undersökningen bygger på enkäter och intervjuer med elever samt intervjuer med pedagoger på två olika skolor. Vår teori består av tre delar.

Arbete och fritid är två faktorer i människans liv. Syftet med detta arbete var att undersöka om arbetsrelaterad stress påverkar människors fritid. De frågeställningar som användes för att finna svar på detta var: Upplever människor arbetsrelaterad stress och hur visar den sig? Tar människor med sig arbetsrelaterad stress till sin fritid och om de gör det hur påverkar detta fritiden? Vad gör människor för att hantera den arbetsrelaterade stressen om den inverkar på fritiden? För att genomföra studien användes halvstrukturerade intervjuer, 10 grundskollärare, en man och nio kvinnor deltog. Resultaten visar att många upplevde stress på arbetet och att en stor del av dem skulle kunna bli bättre på att skilja på arbete och fritid, genom att till exempel bestämma sig för att arbetsuppgifter främst ska skötas på arbetet och att fritiden är tid för återhämtning och egna intressen.
