To work and live in the same place where ones employer also is the landlord, can create a situation with many special requirements for the individual. Constrains regarding time, space and impact on social life is likely to appear. Based on theory and empirical research about the Boundaryless work and the Psychological contract the purpose of this report is to examine employees who live and work at the same place. This is done by studying the regulation regarding time and space factors and the psychological contracts in expectations and in violation of the psychological contract and the risks associated with this like Locked-in factors. The study includes interviews with managers and employees (n=9).

Syftet med studien var att undersöka vilka uppfattningar sex elever, som regelbundet praktiserat yoga, har om yogans betydelse för stress, koncentration och lärande. Studien bygger på en kvalitativ undersökning av djupgående intervjuer och på forskningsrapporter. Syftet var, att med intervjuerna som grund, ta reda på om yogan har någon effekt på stress, och om den kan skapa bättre förutsättningar för koncentration och för lärande. Sammanfattningsvis visar resultatet på att eleverna uppfattar att yogapraktiken givit dem ett instrument att hantera stress. De kunde uppfatta ett gynnsamt samband mellan yogapraktik och skolarbete.

Studien handlar om stress i förskolan. Syftet med studien var att ta reda på hur lärare i förskolan upplever stress i sitt arbete. Arbetet begränsades av följande frågeställningar:Hur påverkas lärare i förskolan av stress? Vad är det som gör att lärare i förskolan blirstressade? Vad gör lärarna för att försöka minska stressen i förskolan? Somundersökningsmetod användes kvalitativ intervju och intervjupersonerna var fyrastycken förskollärare i en mellanstor stad, de jobbade alla inom kommunala förskolor.Studien visade att påverkan av stress hos lärare i förskolan var väldigt individuellberoende på vilka tidigare erfarenheter man hade. Det framkom att förskollärarnapåverkades av stress genom trötthet, känslor av frustration och otillräcklighet.

The aim of the study was to explore the psychological well-being of a group of adolescents in relation to how they regarded achieving in school, in a gender perspective. Twenty semi-structured interviews were conducted with students aged 17-19 at a high-achieving school in a big city in Sweden. The interviews were analyzed thematically and the results showed that the adolescents acted differently as well as regarded achieving in school differently depending on gender. The young women were driven by ambition, they were high-achieving and planning for the future. The young men cared less about achieving and thought more about the present.

Ordet stress används ofta fritt om alla möjliga påfrestningar. Den strikta definitionen på beteckningen stress är kroppens fysiologiska reaktion vid påfrestning, som är av både fysisk och psykisk natur. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva personers upplevelse av stress under deras vårdtid på intensivvårdsavdelning. Sexton vetenskapliga artiklar som svarade för syftet analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys med manifest ansats. Analysen resulterade i fyra kategorier: att det var fasansfullt och skrämmande, att vara beroende av andra, att inte kunna göra sig förstådd och inte förstå och att ständigt bli störd.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to examine what the data from recent Library- and Information Science studies tell us about the importance of school libraries in a student perspective. Our theoretical framework is built upon Elisabeth Tallaksen Rafste?s concept about the values of school libraries to students. Our aim is to investigate how students between the ages of 15 and 18 use and experience school library.

ABSTRACT The aim of this thesis is to illustrate how surgical operation theatre nurses perceive debriefing within emergency health care. The study has a qualitative design with semi structured interviews that have been performed with seven operating room nurses working in emergency health care. The strategic selection consists of professional operation theatre nurses working in emergency care at Uppsala University Hospital. The main goal of this thesis is to increase the understanding of debriefing and to highlight the need of debriefing after difficult or unexpected events in the emergency health care profession.The interviewed nurses perceive debriefing as an important way to develop the day to day work, but also as a way to unburden the staff at the time of bigger traumas. Even though the effect of debriefing is not univocally positive in the literature, the staff perceives that it reduces different kinds of stress.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to investigate the importance of a school library for youths, age 14-16, from their perspective. We intend to study how they use and experience the school library both for educational- and leisure related purposes. We also intend to inquire their possibility to influence their school library. The literature that has been used consists of material from research concerning youth culture and school library.

Att drabbas av yrsel är ett komplext symptom med varierande bakgrundsorsaker. Yrsel utan fysiskt definierbar anledning, tex. Störning på balansorganen, är ofta förknippad med stress och psykisk ohälsa. Föreliggande studie genomfördes i form av sex intervjuer med syftet att undersöka hur det är att leva med yrsel och hur denna är relaterad till stress och psykisk ohälsa. Resultaten indikerade en koppling mellan yrsel, stress och symptom på utmattningssyndrom.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie är att belysa olika stressframkallande situationer och copingstrategier för att bemästra den arbetsrelaterade stressen hos sjuksköterskor. Forskningsfrågorna är: Vilka faktorer ligger bakom stress för sjuksköterskor inom vården? Vilka copingstrategier använder sjuksköterskor i stressade situationer? Metoden är en litteraturstudie, som är baserad på tretton vetenskapliga artiklar. Den teoretiska referensramen är Antonovskys syn på hälsa, KASAM. Resultatet av denna studie visar fem teman som orsakar stress.

Studien som utförts analyserar ur ett sociosemiotiskt och multimodalt perspektiv vilka resurser läromedlet "Insikter i svenska" använder sig av. Läromedlet är riktat mot ungdomar i första året på gymnasiet som läser en yrkesinriktad utbildning. Studien redogör för ett antal utgångspunkter för multimodal bildanalys och påvisar även att lärmedlet innehåll ett antal av dessa resurser. .

Furthermore also examine the critical success factors that influence the success respectively the failure of the IT-projects. Method: To attain the purpose with our study we have chosen a qualitative method. We have carried out interviews with two of the project managers of the IT-project of the two large companies.Result: A couple of problems occurred within the IT-projects of the large companies.

The purpose of this study was to examine and evaluate an assembly station at Kalmar Industries in respect to ergonomics. The study was to result in an improved assembly station with lower risk of work- related injuries. It was the study group?s expectation that the measures taken at the assembly station can function as guidance and an inspiration for other ergonomic improvements at the company. Several goals related to the purpose were established as guidance for the study.The mechanic?s work situation was mapped through a series of methods.

I vårt examensarbete valde vi att belysa stress som är ett fenomen som har brett ut sig till alla samhällskategorier och kommit långt ner i åldrarna. Som gymnasielärare möter man dagligen ungdomar som påstår att de är stressade och uppvisar tecken på psykosomatiska besvär. Syftet med vårt arbete är att undersöka om det föreligger någon stress bland gymnasieelever idag med utgångspunkt i deras livssituation samt identifiera de orsakande faktorerna till ungdomsstress och de psykosomatiska besvär som är relaterade till den. För att uppnå vårt syfte använde vi oss av följande tre frågeställningar: Upplever gymnasieelever stress och finns det ett samband mellan upplevd stress och psykosomatiska besvär, vilka faktorer orsakar stress hos gymnasieelever idag, och hur hanteras stress av gymnasieelever? Fokus i vår undersökning ligger på skolan, hemmet och fritiden.

AbstractThe ideas of adulthood, adolescence and childhood in Swedish law have a tendency to not be expressed or discussed. This thesis has focused on the preparatory work of the sexual offence-law to see whether it defines adulthood. This has been achieved by analyzing the documents related to this preparatory work. The thesis focused on two central questions: 1) Was the idea of adulthood an integral part of the discussions in the preparatory work 2) If so, then how was it defined and are there any contradictions in the definition. In addition, this work also evaluated the impact of this law and investigated whether the absolute protection intended by the government and the committee of sexual crime seek actually exists.The study shows that the concept of adulthood was not defined specifically in the preparatory work.
