The democratic conditions in national states have change radically at the same time as the society has changed. Because of social and economic globalization processes, the states and government has lost power for the benefit of transnational and global institutions. That affects the democracy since the nation state earlier defined the domain of citizenship. At the same time, citizens? confidence towards political parties and politicians has gone down.

The purpose of this study is to understand the factors that are affecting students at the Technology and Electricity- and energy programs in their choice of studies and vocation. The study is a comparative case study and quantitative method has been used in the form of questionnaires. The result shows that students do not like to be affected by another person but believes that they themselves have made their choice. Interest turns out to be the biggest influence factor of choice for both students at the Technology and Electricity- and energy program. For Electricity- and energy students have also access to work had some impact.The parents' education level was higher for Technician students and their parents worked with occupations requiring university degrees.

This investigation is a pilot survey whose main purpose is to investigate with work evaluation and attitude analysis whether the orthopedists and surgeons work can be equaled, why the wages differences exists between women and men, and also which preventive measures the organization can use to even out the wages differences between the genders. In relation with the investigation I have applied the reflexive way of thinking to establish which difficulties come up in the work of gender-equality.The result?s from work evaluation displays that the works are equivalent but the salaries are not, which can depend on value discrimination,gender discrimination and the organization theory.Wages differences between women and men depend on, according to the informers, partly by historical explanation and partly by the old directors who was allowed to retain regular salary when theypost transformed. The common point of view is that men have a larger work experience and therefore a higher salary.The managements attitude towards gender-equality issues is of absolute importance in order to achieve and bring a change within the organization.The measure positive special treatment is proposed to be used as an improving method to achieve (gender)equality between the posts and to even out the wages difference between the sexes.To establish whether or not gender discrimination exist in the investigated organization there needs to be done a whole lot supplementary studies like a complete wage (salary) mapping which includes all supplements and more interviews among the organizations all occupation groups..

This thesis of 15 hp has been implemented at Halmstad University, in collaboration with Saab Dynamics in Linköping. Saab Dynamics is a company operating in the defence industry where competition is tough. This necessitates new ways to increase efficiency in the company, which is the basis for this thesis. Saab Dynamics wants to introduce simulation driven design. Since Saab Dynamics engineers have little experience of simulation, required a user methodology with clear guidelines.

The company Pilotfish has developed the system MIVEO which is used by car-sharing to wirelessly monitor, book or otherwise manage a fleet of cars. In a car pool the system has three different types of users with varying degrees of eligibility. These are end users, administrative and service personnel. We have chosen to focus on opportunities to streamline the administrator and service personnel work with a mobile service, as these users of MIVEO often are movable and mobile. From this position we have in the study attempted to answer the following question: How can mobile services used to streamline administrative tasks? This study is about developing a mobile application that will contain the same features as the existing system, but must be mobile suit.

Två företag, konkurrenter på en duopolmarknad, undersöks under ett antal förenklande antagande för att finna jämviktsbeteende. Företagen antas förutom pris ha möjlighet att konkurrera genom att erbjuda produkter differentierade i två horisontella dimensioner. En tolkning är att företagen konkurrerar genom pris och lokalisering i en tvådimensionell stad. Av intresse är främst optimal grad av differentiering. Från genomgången litteratur står det klart att Nashjämvikten består av minimal differentiering i en dimension och maximal differentiering i den andra, samt pris som bestäms direkt av en transportkostnadskoefficient.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att utreda den föreslagna kriminaliseringens effekt på Sveriges nuvarande eftergiftsprogram samt undersöka dess effektivitet trots avsaknad av ett kronvittnesförfarande. Vidare avser uppsatsen att undersöka om kriminaliseringens effekter kan påverkas. För att utröna kriminaliseringens effekter har VD: n få en central roll i uppsatsens modell, då det endast är han som berörs av ett individuellt straffansvar och ej företaget i sig. För att utreda syftet har författarna nyttjat spelteori samt studerat det inträdesbeslut VD:n står inför. Resultatet påvisade att det är ej möjligt att införa ett kriminaliseringsförfarande, som förvisso ökar den avskräckande effekten, utan att samtidigt delvis äventyra eftergiftsprogrammets angivareffekt.

Sedan friskolornas start har skolmarknaden utvecklats och numera existerar det ett flertal variationer av organisationsformer samt driftsformer på den Svenska marknaden. Teorin redogör för ett antal styrande incitament som är av betydelse för icke-vinstdrivande skolors existens, vilka främst har observeras i skolor utanför Sverige. Baserat på olikheter mellan länder såsom Sverige och USA aktualiseras frågan om incitamenten kan appliceras på den svenska friskolemarknaden. En kvalitativ studie har genomförts med två friskolor i Stockholmsområdet där jag har sökt svar på uppsatsens centrala fråga; om incitamenten bakom icke- vinstdrivande skolor i teorin stämmer överens med realiteten? Resultatet antyder att skillnaden mellan vinstdrivande och icke-vinstdrivande friskolor ej är av den karaktären som teorin påvisar.

In the Swedish governing document for the mandatory school (Lpo94) it is laid down that The school shall strive for being a living social community that gives safety and the will and desire to learn. The social community and the social relations in the school everyday existence are thereby without hesitation very important for the students' learning. The teacher always wants to engage the students and create order, comfort and a good work environment. In this essay, the relationship between students' work climates, matter interests and average grades is studied. Med regressionsanalys undersöks systematisk kovarians på den svenska aktiemarknaden under perioden 1997 ? 2006. Först skattas branschindexens känslighet för olika riskfaktorer, skattningarna används för att skapa en varians-kovariansmatris. Utvärdering sker genom att vikterna för en global minsta variansportfölj beräknas med hjälp av den skattade varians-kovariansmatrisen.
