A webpage can be perfectly usable but if users are unable to find the webpage it will remain unused. Nine out of ten Swedes use a search engine and the most popular one is Google, amongst other search engines. In this report I seek to answer which ranking factors that should be included in an SEO-audit of an existing webpage and also how to optimize a webpage for search engines. Applying the method heuristic evaluation normally used to discover usability issues in an existing interface, on TT News Agency?s campaign site I found issues having a negative impact on the visibility in Search Engines Page Results.

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to investigate how preschool teachers reflect on the phenomenon of conflict, and to find out what children think about this in relation to Nanny method. I referred to the following questions:? How to reflect pre-school teachers on conflict management at the preschool?? What methods / approaches tell teachers that they use in conflict management?? How the children reflect on their experiences on conflict management at the preschool?In the background, Im trying to define the word conflict, and I also point to the methods and models that are already in conflict management. It is clear that a key ingredient in the conflict is communication, the question is how well we communicate with each other?I've done interviews with three active educators and four children to study this subject.

The purpose of this study was to analyse the concept of empowerment and its meaning in the political document "En Förnyad Folkhälsopolitik" from the present Swedish government, containing guidelines and politics in the area of public health. The underlying question was if it could be considered as representative for some kind of general "empowerment approach" since the concept is central to the very definition of social work by the International Federation of Social Workers IFSW and International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW).By comparing its definition and consequences in the document with a historical review of different contexts of empowerment the conclusion was made that such a common approach doesn´t exist at all. The meaning of empowerment in the central document showed some similarities with the "northamerican" version of the concept represented by the social scientist Charles Murray, which is just one of the political meanings of empowerment. Alternative ways of understanding the concept was also presented such as being a tool of a constant conflict between central political principles or as a fashionable but not important word. En målstyrd läroplan (Lpo94) utarbetades och infördes med start läsåret 1995/1996. Elevernas demokratiska fostran är en av de centrala frågorna i Lpo94.Lpo 94 säger att undervisningen ska bedrivas i demokratiska arbetsformer och förbereda eleverna för att aktivt deltaga i samhällslivet. Skolan ska alltså fostra demokratiska medborgare som känner till och kan engagera sig i hur samhället är uppbyggt och hur det styrs. Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att titta på hur intentionerna i Lpo 94 uppfylls vad gäller det formella elevinflytandet på svenska grundskolor?Den här uppsatsen undersöker det formella elevinflytandet på tre svenska grundskolor.

Volvo Human Monitoring (VHM) is an ongoing project at Volvo Cars where they measure, amongst other parameters, inhalation and exhalation through a device called Respiratory Inductance Plethysmograph (RIP), on drivers. RIP measures changes in the cross-sectional area of the chest and abdomen. When the driver is in motion, such as when she is turning the vehicle, the cross-sectional area changes and noise in the RIP signal may arise.The noise results in a large number of manual adjustments in the analysis of the RIP signal, which is very time consuming and the validity of the device for measuring inhalation and exhalation is questioned.The purpose of this study was to improve the efficiency of the analysis of the RIP signal. The goal was to create a new data processing tool in Matlab that automatically detects inhalation and exhalation from a RIP signal with higher validity compared to the previous data processing tool.In this study, nine tests were performed on drivers while they were driving in different scenarios such as highway, country road and in city traffic. Inhalation and exhalation was measured using a RIP, a pneumotachograph with a tightly sealed facemask and a thermocouple placed between the nose and mouth, which was used as reference to the RIP.The result of this study was a data processing tool that automatically detects inhalation and exhalation with higher validity compared to the previous data processing tool.

This Bachelor?s thesis examines and describes the governmental cultural policy in Sweden. The relation between the state and the market in society is in focus. Earlier research is used to describe the development of cultural policy in Sweden after the world war two until today. Two governmental bills are examined and described, one from 1974 and one from 2009.

Syftet med denna studie är att få en insyn i förskollärares avsikter när det kommer till den fysiska inomhusmiljöns betydelse för, och påverkan på, barns lek. De fyra frågeställningarna som ställdes var: Vilken betydelse har inomhusmiljön för barns lek enligt förskollärarna? Vilka möjligheter har barnen, enligt förskollärare, att vara med och påverka inomhusmiljön? Vilka avsikter har förskollärarna med den fysiska inomhusmiljön? Hur ser inomhusmiljön ut på de olika avdelningarna? Den metod som använts för studien är kvalitativt inriktad, totalt fyra förskollärare intervjuades och totalt fyra förskoleavdelningar observerades. Resultatet visade att förskollärarna beskrev den fysiska inomhusmiljön som viktig för barns lek. Förskollärarna menade att barnen hade möjlighet att vara med och påverka inomhusmiljön då förskollärarna följde barnens intresse och behov.

Furthermore, this study aims to examine how these nouns occur in order to determine if their pattern of occurence favours the learning and consolidation of words. The main materials that have been used are A Frequency Dictionary of Spanish by Davies (2006) and the word search program available in the digital versions of the textbooks. This Master?s thesis aims to study how the concept ?youth? is understood and used in papers and publications about public libraries, written at The Swedish School of Library and Information Science from 1972 to 2002. It does this by answering three questions: Firstly, how is the concept ?youth? formulated in papers and publications at SSLIS from 1972 - 2002? Secondly, has the concept ?youth? changed in the analysed texts during the chosen time and, if that is the case, what constitutes this change? And, finally, what types of consequences for the understanding of the users can this have for the writers and readers of these texts? Discourse analysis is used to analyze how this concept is constituted, transformed and understood. Among the things studied in the discourse analysis is the interdiscursivity and intertextuality of the texts, as well as the meaning of the word, the wordings and modality of the analysed texts.

The aim of this research is to develop a better understanding of how preschool-teachers respond to children in preschool, when they show that they want to have some influence. I have concentrated this study on how the preschool-teachers respond to the children in the gatherings and when the children are playing freely indoors, where the questions at issue are:How do the preschool-teachers respond to the children?s initiative for participation in the gathering and while playing freely?There have been four preschool-teachers and 14 children who have taken part in this study. The children who took part are in the ages of three to five. The study was done at a section in a preschool in middle Sweden.The method used in this study is unstructured observations.

BakgrundI den fria leken kommunicerar små barn med varandra genom olika kommunikationssätt. De förmedlar budskap och avsikter och det förutsätter att barn har en förståelse för andra barns sätt att kommunicera. Bland annat kommunicerar små barn med hjälp av verbal och icke verbal kommunikation. När yngre barn kommunicerar gör de det med hela sin kropp och uttrycker sina känslor och tankar med hjälp av kroppsspråk såsom beröring och imitation. Små barn använder även ord för att uttrycka det inre talet.SyfteStudiens syfte är att undersöka små barns kommunikation i den fria leken på förskolan.MetodI studien används observationer i form av löpande protokoll.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur pedagogerna uppfattar begreppet barns inflytande och hur de resonerar kring barns inflytande i förskolans verksamhet. Tidigare forskning visar att det är fortfarande oklart var och i vilka sammanhang barn ges inflytande och hur pedagogerna kan arbeta i förskolan på ett demokratiskt sätt.Som anställd inom förskoleverksamheten känner jag ofta osäkerhet när det gäller vissa situationer. Pedagogerna upplever att de har övergripande kunskaper om ett demokratiskt förhållningsätt emot barnen men saknar krokar att hänga kunskapen i, det vill säga konkreta förslag på hur man ska arbeta i möte med barnen.Begreppet barns inflytande är ett stort område i den reviderade läroplanen för förskolan, därför anser jag att pedagogerna bör öka medvetenheten om styrdokumentens intentioner angående detta. Det är viktigt att pedagogerna gör barnen medvetna om att de faktiskt har rätt till eget inflytande och möjlighet att påverka sin situation.Resultatet jag fick fram i min studie visar att det har skett en förändring och att pedagogerna idag är mer medvetna om att barn har rätt till inflytande och delaktighet i förskolans vardag. Samtidigt, i min undersökning, har jag kommit fram till att pedagogerna anser att barn bör ha mindre inflytande när det gäller existentiella frågor som säkerhet och omsorg, som också är en stor del av förskolans verksamhet. .
