Kan man läsa film? : en studie av svensklärares attityd till spelfilm i undervisningen
This thesis aims to examine how teachers who teach the Swedish subject, uses film in their education. The survey was given to 30 of these teachers in Nykoping, half which are working in junior high schools, and half which are working in high schools. One importantcondition to this works implementation, is the existence of the widen text concept that points to that all media is a concept that can be read and analysed. This is the attitude that The National Agency for Education aims at in different govern documents. The National Agency for education also request teachers to give the students tools to the media literacy that the society demands.
Hagamannen : Hur skapas och framställs han av media?
Syftet med uppsatsen är att studera fenomenet Hagamannen i två svenska dagstidningar, en rikstäckande och en lokal. Artiklarna har begränsats från att namnet Hagamannen börjar användas till dess att han får sin dom och de jämförs för att se om det finns några skillnader i hur han konstrueras eller i hur offren beskrivs. Uppsatsen innehåller en kort sammanfattning av händelseförloppet samt teorier och tidigare forskning om media. Som metod används valda delar av den kritiska diskursanalysen och tidningarnas artiklar har analyserats separat och sedan jämförts. Analysen behandlar bland annat Hagamannen som namn och fenomen, hur tidningarna konstruerar Nicklas Lindgren efter identifieringen och offren ur olika perspektiv..

The rates for teenage conception and motherhood in the UK are according to recent research, the highest in Wester Europe. The ongoing debate concerning these teenage pregnancies and teenage motherhood has therefore become political in a wide range. The government?s goal is to reduce the number of teenage pregnancies until the end of 2010 to prevent social exclusion among vulnerable young women. However, there is controversy in other research that describes teenage pregnancies more likely to be a result of social exclusion than its cause.The purpose of this study is to examine how young mothers in a borough of London, from their own point of view, experience their situation, their difficulties and possibilities in present and in future.
Föräldraledighetens historia : Förslaget om individualiserad föräldraledighet
Rules on parental leave have over the years been the subject of several gender debates. The big question has particularly been whether a further individualization of the days should be established. Sweden is a relatively equal country but differences still exist between men and women in the labor market, such as differences in wages. A fact that is considered encouraging for this is the uneven distribution of parental leave between men and women. It has now been nearly 40 years since the introduction of the first parental insurance but we have still not achieved gender equality in working life which was the main purpose.The main purpose of this essay is to study the motives for the proposal of individualized parental leave, and in addition examine how this change of rules could impact on gender equality in the work place.
Den kritiska Messengergenerationen : En studie om politiska diskussioner i sociala medier samt skolans roll i att forma kritiskt ta?nkande individer
The purpose of the study is to explore how social media can be used as a forum to discuss politics and also how young people use critical reflection to evaluate the information available on social media. To achieve the purpose, a qualitative research is used. The empirical data is collected through semi-structured interviews with six high school students who voted in the Swedish parliamentary elections in/of 2014. The empirical data were then analyzed based on previous research on social media, and the school's mission to foster individuals who think critically. The analysis is also based on the theory of deliberative democracy model.
Zlatan gör dig svensk : En etnologisk studie kring hur media framställer Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Denna uppsats i etnologi handlar om hur Zlatan Ibrahimovic framställs och beskrivs utifrån en speciell konflikt under hösten 2006 och våren 2007 i Aftonbladet och Expressen. Denna konflikt började med att tre fotbollsspelare i det svenska A-landslaget i herrfotboll gick på krogen en kväll och fortsatte sedan med att Zlatan sa nej till detta landslag under en period. Jag menar att tidningarna producerar bilder av hur man bör och inte bör vara för att räknas som ?svensk?Media gör Zlatan Ibrahimovic till en motsats av ?svenskhet? och svensk nationalism. Jag upplever det som att Zlatan får stå som symbol för mycket mer än bara fotboll i dagens Sverige, han får representera bilden av ?invandraren?, av utanförskap, av individualism, han kan också ses som ett bevis på att alla kan lyckas bli en stjärna.Media både bekräftar rådande svenskhet och skapar svenskhet genom att beskriva Zlatan.

The purpose of this study is to examine whether there is any connection between working hours, desired working hours and the worker ?s health. The study also aims to investigate if there are any differences over time. Earlier studies have shown that individuals need a balance in their life between worked hours and free time. The aim of this essay was to deepen the knowledge of how child-protection-work is illustrated by massmedia. The essay takes it stand in discourse analysis to explain what image is displayed of social work concerning child-protection that is published in news media during 2007 in one of Sweden?s most read evening-papers. The result of the study is that social workers involved in child-protection-work often are categorized as either too zealous or too uncommitted, in the media. In the past year, Ozempic has been observed internationally, as well as in the Swedish press,
due to its rapid rise in popularity, its off-label use for weight loss, and the ethical and societal
debates surrounding availability and impact. The purpose of this study is to examine how
Ozempic is portrayed in the four largest Swedish daily newspapers: Svenska Dagbladet,
Dagens Nyheter, Expressen and Aftonbladet. The aim of the thesis is to identify the frames
within which the drug is described to acquire knowledge of how it influences public
perception of it. Every article published between the first of March until the first of
November has been included in the study, if it bottoms in the defined phonomenon. The
method used is a qualitative text analysis in consideration of Entman?s framing theory, which
is focusing on identifying dominant themes, problem definitions, proposed solutions, and the
actors attributed responsibility in the coverage of Ozempic in Swedish press.

The main purpose of this essay is to investigate the legal position for employers concerning protection against what employees can express about one?s employer in social media.It may regard dissatisfaction concerning employment, tort or so-called whistleblowing. The spread through social media may be comprehensive and thus cause more damage to the employer.Employees within the public sector as well as in the private are protected by the liberty of speech, which is constitutional, even the protection of sources or the right to criticize can offer some protection. Women?s strive to reach higher leading positions and build a career that's combinable with child birth and private life, is an on-going debate among academics in the fields of leadership, management and organization. This bachelor level thesis is written at the section of Management & Organization at School of Business, Economics and Law in Gothenburg, Sweden, spring semester 2015. In our research methodwe have used source triangulation with a qualitative approach to the subject of egg-freezing in favour forcareer with a focus on Swedish workplaces. The purpose has been to illuminate, map out and further problematize how the introduction of the employee benefit in November 2014 can be seen to relate to social sustainability.A lot of the management research that discusses social sustainability tends to focus on how women (and men!) try to balance family life and career and how to combine (or to not combine) them.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att studera hur media framställer lagen om registerkontroll avarbetssökande. Det som skall undersökas är vilka diskurser som kommer fram i media, vilkapersoner som kommer till tals och vilka argument de använder när de talar om registerkontroll. Dessutom undersöks om förhållningssättet till registerkontroll har förändrats över tid. Drömplanen blev en mardröm En studie om Framställningen av Norweigian och varuvärkesexponering i svensk media under Boeing 787:s kris
Executive summaryThe aim of this study is to examine how the favourability and brand exposure of Norwegian has been damage by their supplier, Boeing 787:s, problems concerning the aircraft Dreamliner. The theoretical framework underlies the content analysis that has been used to operate the study. In total the empirical data rise up to 623 articles that has been collected and analysed from the media archive Retriever. Compares to before and after Boeing 787:s problem with the Dreamliner, the results indicates that the favourability of Norwegian in the Swedish media landscape during the problems was negatively affected. The results also show that there was no increase in brand exposure for Norwergian during the problems.
