Westermo Teleindustri tillverkar och säljer telefonmodem för industritillämpningar och ska erbjuda ett konfigureringsverktyg till dessa. Verktyget ska konfigurera Westermos modem med Hayes AT-kommandon genom ett PC program som ska vara enkelt att använda så att deras supportavdelning blir avlastad från en del konfigureringssupport. Min uppgift i detta examensarbete var att ta fram en kravspecifikation och implementera en lösning utifrån denna. Kravspecifikation togs fram genom att skicka ut förfrågningar om önskemål till dotterbolag, distributörer och andra som har nära kontakt med slutkunderna. I kravspecifikationen beskrivs vilken funktionalitet programvaran skall innehålla.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the significance of organizing social- cooperative in relation to individual empowerment; and how this empowerment can be used to better the situation of others. Young surfers is a social- cooperativ that is run by cooperators with experience of substance abuse and criminality. The social- cooperativ is built on the premise that the cooperators are to set up and run a screen-printing shop where they will print t-shirts and sweatshirts. The purpose of this business is that the cooperators are given the opportunity to work and that youths with social problems such as substance abuse and criminality are given the opportunity to work-train. My study is comprised of a series of interviews and observations that I have conducted in relation to the cooperators of Young Surfers.

Det här examensarbetet utvärderar spelutveckling i HTML5. Detta innebär utveckling i JavaScript, CSS samt HTML med utnyttjande av den nya teknologin som medföljer HTML5 märkeringen. I detta fall är teknologin canvas-element som ritar ut 2-D grafik.Två implementationer av ett motorcykelspel har utvecklats med fysikmotorerna Box2D respektive Chipmunk.Målet med arbetet var att utvärdera bästa val av fysikmotor vid utveckling av ett spel i 2-D med krävande fysik i HTML5 till mobil..

The objective of this study was to examine three common mobile phoneplatforms in relation to their network traffic features. The platforms to beexamined are Android, iOS 5 and Windows Phone. After the investigation wascompleted a prototype application was implemented in order to demonstratethese features in the most suitable platform. The application will function as atelephone call exchanger. In addition, the application must also send the userstatistic to a Web server, accept contacts from a Web server, as well as having aspecial administration part in which the userstatistc can be presented.

I denna rapport jämförs ett antal fria statistiska programvaror som gick att finna på och ladda ned från internet under våren 2007. Programmen som valts ut att ingå i denna studie ska ha uppfyllt följande krav:- heltäckande statistiskt program- helt kostnadsfritt- ingen prova-på-variant- kompatibelt med Windows XP (32-bitar) eller Windows Vista (64-bitar). De program som efter utsortering kom med i jämförelsen visade sig vara av ytterst skiftande inriktning och innehåll. Detta stämde inte alla gånger överens med den beskrivning som hemsidor eller tidigare jämförelser gett. Samtliga programvaror har jämförts, dels genom att studera om några förbestämda analyser går att genomföra och dels genom ett allmänt intryck om hur programmen är att arbeta med.

The housing sector of today represents for almost 40% of the energy consumption, an energy consumption of which the major part consists of non-renewable energy sources. This is not sustainable and utilization of new energy-efficient technologies in buildings can be a step in the right direction, towards a sustainable energy society.This report has been made on behalf of and in cooperation with Älvstranden Utveckling AB in Gothenburg to examine how future energy-efficient technologies can affect the energy demand in energy-efficient multi-dwelling buildings.The report is based on Älvstrandens passive house, Hamnhuset, a house whose energy consumption is far below the BBR's requirements. The report looks at the opportunities for improvement within windows, insulation, solar energy technologies, as well as white goods. Computer simulations are then made to apply the selected technologies into a reference building. Technologies are selected from an energy efficient perspective and no account has been taken of other aspects such as the economy.

Kommissionen inledde i februari 2000 en omfattande utredning mot Microsoft baserad på Sun Microsystems klagan om Microsofts konkurrensbegränsande förfaranden 1998. Utredningen bestod av två delar; interoperabilitet mellan PC-klientoperativsystemsmarknaden och servermarknaden och integrationen av Windows Media Player i Windows. I mars 2004 kom Kommissionens beslut där de drog slutsatsen att Microsoft dubbelt missbrukat en dominerande ställning genom att förhindra effektiv konkurrens på arbetsgruppsservermarknaden och bundit sin mediaspelare till sitt operativsystem. Microsoft överklagade Kommissionens beslut till Förstainstansrätten och den 17 september 2007 kom domen, vilken i huvudsak bekräftade Kommissionens beslut. Mitt syfte i denna uppsats är att undersöka den första delen av Kommissionens beslut angående interoperabilitet och sedermera Förstainstansrättens dom, för att avgöra hur väl de dragna slutsatserna överensstämmer med praxis, vad prejudikatet kan innebära för framtiden samt i vilken mån företag kan bli skyldiga att lämna ut information.I min analys och de avslutande kommentarerna redogör jag för min slutsats att Kommissionens beslut och Förstainstansrättens dom faktiskt är skäliga, men att prejudikatet måste vaktas av de exceptionella omständigheter som föreligger i fallet.

Fönster blir idag en allt viktigare del av en byggnads klimatskärm. Det ställs därför krav på olika funktioner vilka måste uppfyllas oberoende av fönstertyp. Då glas blir vanligare i moderna konstruktioner ställs det högre krav på värmeisolerande förmåga. Cirka 35 % av en byggnads värmeförluster sker genom fönster. Detta ställer krav på tillämpning av energieffektiva fönster vid ny- och ombyggnad. Underhåll av fönsterkonstruktionerna är en oundviklig detalj och måste ske någon gång under en byggnads livslängd.

Mjukvara i datorer styr många viktiga funktioner i dagens samhälle och används i stor utsträckning för att kommunicera men även för att styra utrustning. För att mjukvara ska fungera tillförlitligt behöver den byggas korrekt och testas utförligt. För att uppnå tillförlitlighet kan en byggserver används för att automatiskt bygga och testa mjukvaran. Den här rapporten beskriver hur en prototyp av ett övervakningssystem för byggservrar skapats. Systemet sköter övervakningen genom en övervakningstjänst som hämtar information från en byggserver av typen CruiseControl.NET [10] och presenterar informationen på en webbportal.

Introduction: Today caring for newborn, sick babies or premature infants is in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs). There is an opportunity in NICUs for advanced critical care and skilled nursing care of the child, conducted by health professionals in an active partnership with parents. To encourage parental participation in the care of their children parents are offered accommodation in a family room in the NICU. Objective: The aim is to describe parents' experience to stay in a family room in the NICU when their child is cared for there. Method: This is a research plan for a qualitative study with an inductive, descriptive approach.

Sweden has distinct seasons with cold winter and temperatures down to minus 25 ?C andpleasant summers with temperatures above 20 ?C. During spring and autumn there could becomechallenges with precipitation. The diverse climate in Sweden affects many homeowners. For thepeople living in leisure boats and permanent housing boats the seasonal changes are clearlyimpacting their economy and the indoor climate.

Mindre företag i Sverige använder även i dag äldre DOS-baserade (Disk Operating System) program för att hantera sina administrationsbehov. I takt med övergången till fönsterbaserade applikationer har även behovet av hanteringen av övergången ökat. I detta examensarbete har företaget ifråga haft behov av en uppdatering av dess befintliga DOS-baserade administrationsprogram. Uppgiften har varit att ta fram ett motsvarande Windows-baserat administrationsprogram med stöd för alla de funktioner som det ursprungliga programmet hade men med utökad funktionalitet. För att lösa denna uppgift har första steget i samråd med företagets representant varit att analysera hur användarna använder det befintliga systemet för att ta reda på de funktioner som behövdes för att skapa ett väl fungerande program.

This essay is the result of a case study. The aim of this study has been to gain an understanding of government employee?s opportunity to be involved in and contribute to the processes tied to organizational development. The case study is based on the perspective of the government employees and their experience and thoughts regarding their opportunity to be a part of the organizational development. The empirical data that was generated by the case study has been analysed with New Public Management and Sense Of Coherence as a theoretical point of view.

The study's purpose is to describe students' experiences of help and support in mathematics. To investigate this, I adopted the questions: What does it mean, according to the students, to get "help and support in mathematics?" Are there differences in the description of help and support depending on the age of the students? What different kinds of help and support do students feel that they get from their math teachers? What different kinds of help and support would they like to have? The study is based on a qualitative method, group interviews, with three groups of students, one from each stage of primary school in one municipality in Sweden. The students were at the time of the interview in grade 3, 5 and 8. The interviews were analysed from a sociocultural perspective. The results show that what the students primarily consider as the meaning of help and support it is to get individual support from their teacher.

 This essay is about how the educators can use the play as a tool to develop childrens social skills with eachother. The work is based on a qualitative study using a survey, where the educators can tell how they work within the play. I chose to use five different participants in my essay. All of them work in the same preschool, south of Stockholm.In this essay I have two questions. These two are:What do the educators tell about the importance of play for children's interaction?How do the educators tell how they work with the play to develop the children?s social interaction?Previous research shows that play gives the children opportunity to develop socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically.
