Målet med detta examensarbete har varit att på bästa möjliga sätt finna ett truckdatorsystem som kan förbättra arbetssituationen och säkerheten i Movex på förrådet hos Pharmacia & Upjohn Consumer Healthcare i Helsingborg.Truckdatasystemets främsta egenskaper skall vara enkelhet, smidighet, lätt utbyggbarhet för framtida behov, samtidigt som det skall fungera med det nuvarande Movex systemet.Riktlinjerna som drogs upp för projektets genomförande:? Materialflödesanalys genomfördes och overheadmaterial skapades? Information inhämtades om tänkbara leverantörer på marknaden? Selektering av leverantörer mot upprättad kravspecifikation? Inhämtning av offerter och besök på referensanläggningar? Demonstration och uppkoppling mot Movex på Pharmacia? Prisförhandling, egenskapsbedömning - ordervinnande faktorer? Val av slutgiltig leverantör? ImplementeringsplanDet slutliga valet som truckdatorsystemleverantör föll på Teklogix. Fördelarna med deras system var bland annat följande:? kompakt, lättplacerad terminal? personalens favorit? stor potential att utveckla ett bra system med inläsning av streckkoder på ett rationellt sätt? kort svarstid mellan terminal och Movex? bakåtkompatibelt samtidigt som systemet har stora framtidsmöjligheter.

The purpose is to investigate if companies analyse the traffic on the Web server and if they use this information to create more than simple statistic reports. The questions that we will answer are the following: ? How common is traffic analysis on the Web server among companies? ? Is the Web administrator limited in analysing the Web traffic, if the company has the website on a Web hotel? ? Does the company uses the results they get from analysing the traffic on the Web server for updates and changes on the Web page? PRT är i dagsläget svårunderhållet och allmänt småbuggit att använda och jobba med. Systemet körs även på gamla servrar som Volkswagen Group Sverige vill sluta att använda. The mainpart of this thesis is about the developing of a new analysis tool to be used in Zenicor Medical Systems AB ECG-system. The primary task of the system is to simplify the ECG survey for patients who suffers from different kinds of arrythmias, for example heart fibrillation. With this system is it possible for the patients to do their ECG survey by them self at home and then send the signal with their telephone or mobilphone to a server. The equipment used to do the survey is not bigger than you can have it in a pocket and this results in a bigger flexibility for the patient. The aim of this thesis was to study elderly people?s experiences of and approach to their usage of home care services with tax deduction. The aim was also to describe how elderly people reason about their underlying motives of using home care service with tax deduction. The study is based on six qualitative interviews with people between the ages of 65 and 80, living in Nacka, Sweden. This thesis is a collaboration with Stiftelsen Stockholms la?ns A?ldrecentrum/ Stockholm Gerontology Center and part of their follow up study concerning simplified administration for elderly people applying for home care services in Nacka.

Därför har Gävle sjukhus utlyst ett examensarbete med syftet att lösa problemet med att programmet inte fungerar på Windows 7. This report has a purpose to identify the payment methods available for e-commerce, tosee if they fulfill certain requirements. By investigating thirty of the most popular webshops, a few primary services have been found and revised. Security requirements fore-payment systems include authentication, non-repudiation, integrity and confidentiality.Other requirements considered to be important are usability, flexibility, affordability,reliability, availability, speed of transaction and interoperability. Advantages and disadvantageshave been identified to see if the services fulfill the requirements. I dagens samhälle är det ofta viktigt att kunna använda datorer och internet för att göra olika vardagssysslor såsom hålla kontakten med släkt och vänner, kontakta myndigheter, utföra bankärenden och boka resor. Fortfarande finns det dock många som saknar kunskaperna att använda en dator, en grupp som är överrepresenterade bland dessa är pensionärerna.Det finns många olika operativsystem och vissa lämpar sig antagligen bättre än andra om man är över 65 år och saknar tidigare datorkunskaper. I denna rapport undersöks huruvida det klassiska skrivbordsgränssnittet i Windows är bättre eller sämre än det nya gränssnittet Modern UI som återfinns i Windows 8 och Windows RT. I studien ingick fem par pensionärer i åldrarna 71-87 som utvärderades med hjälp av samupptäckarmetoden.Resultatet av studien visar att inget av de två undersökta systemen är optimalt för denna kategori av användare men att många av de nyheter som introducerades i Modern UI såsom levande paneler underlättade testpersonernas interaktion med datorn..

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to examine how and why genealogists' information behavior has been influenced by the use of online services for genealogy. Using a conceptual model of genealogists' information behavior as theoretical basis for the study, I examine how the use of online services affect genealogists? search process, what information they are looking for and what information resources they use.

Detta examensarbete är en studie kring hur säkerhetsaspekter för web services hanteras inom fastighetsautomationsbranschen utifrån W3C:s riktlinjer. W3C är en organisation som godkänner och administerar nya Internetstandarder. Dessa riktlinjer omfattar säkerhet inom web services, men kan även fungera som en mall för både utveckling och användning. Dessa riktlinjer låg till grund för de intervjufrågor som skapades för undersökningen. Undersökningen genomfördes på sex organisationer med en intervjustudie, på grund av arbetets begränsningar användes telefonintervjuer.Studien syftar till att ge en närmare inblick i säkerhetstänkandet samt de för- och nackdelar som kan associeras till web services, samt utvecklingen av tekniken inom fastighetsautomationsbranschen.Studien visar att synen på säkerheten och tillämpningarna skilde sig mellan organisationerna och att riktlinjerna inte direkt kunde uppfyllas.

Construction of an autonomous wind station was a project with the goal of creating a product that could collect wind data from a sensor and then transfer this data to a server wirelessly over the GSM network. The device would be powered by batteries and solar cells and function fully without requiring external power supply. This required that a small computer was constructed and programmed to store and send data at predetermined cycle times and programming of a server that received the sent data. The project also required optimization of power consumption and dimensioning of solar cells and batteries based on this. The construction of this station demanded research both for the selection of hardware and programming software. The computer was based on a microcontroller and a GSM module that sent the data over the 2G network.

Rapporten undersöker om det är möjligt att använda Clonezilla för distribuerad installation av Windows Vista som alternativ till Symantec Ghost. Ett ytterligare krav är att installationen ska vara automatiserad och inte kräva något extra arbete efter installationens slut. Dessutom ska datorerna vara redo att användas i en Windows-domän efter en färdig installation.Programmet Clonezilla är av typen open source och är fritt att använda medan Symantec Ghost är en kommersiell produkt som kräver flertalet licenser beroende på antalet datorer. Clonezilla körs i Linux och saknar grafiskt gränssnitt, Symantec däremot har ett eget gränssnitt för att överskådligt hantera datorer och distribuera operativsystem i välkänd Windows-miljö.
