Less diversity and more homogenization in the media`s news range is the subject for our bachelor thesis. By analyzing and comparing three separate weeks in two of Sweden's largest evening newspapers Aftonbladet and Expressen we wanted to discoverhow the diversity between the two newspapers had changed over the years, more precisely from 1993 until now. Had there been a homogenization or not? We wanted to study this because it is a long going debate about the news stories becoming more and more the same. An important debate because less diversity in news events and news presentation may lead to less diversity in public opinions and knowledge.

Ericsson?s factory in Kumla, Modules Kumla, became a hub for radio modules and micro base stations, which enables mobile communication through radio base stations, in 2004. Because of this the factory focuses more on the logistics operations. This has led to a need to be able to plan the capacity for the materials handling system. This master thesis has therefore been performed at Modules Kumla to develop a capacity calculation model for the material handling flow during the autumn of 2005.The work has contained a mapping of the material handling flow regarding to which activities was performed and how much time they consumed.

This thesis paper discusses the results of a survey which was conducted to investigate the potential usefulness of mobile apps in the maintenance department at Perstorp Specialty Chemicals AB. The paper contains four sections, a theory section, a method section , a section that explains the functionality of the app, and finally a results section where the results and conclusions of the survey are discussed. The theory section explains and discusses relevant terminology used in the computer science field and in the maintenance industry. The theoretical model used in this paper is also discussed. The methods section gives a stepwise description of the project and a description of platform and software used.

Mobilmarknaden idag består av ett antal aktörer, Nokia är störst, med Samsung, Motorola, LG, Sony Ericsson och HTC bakom sig. Nokias telefoner bygger på operativsystemet Symbian som idag är det största operativsystemet på marknaden för smartphones. Open Handset Alliance har utvecklat ett eget operativsystem för främst mobiltelefoner, kallat Android, som är bygger på Linuxkärnan. Android är framtaget som ett gratisalternativ till de dyra konkurrerande operativsystemen.Examensarbetets syfte är att studera utvecklingsmiljön till Android och se vilka kunskaper som krävs för att effektivt kunna utveckla applikationer. I detta ingår även att identifiera vilka möjliga problem som kan uppstå under utveckling, samt dokumentera vilka utvecklingsverktyg som finns tillgängliga. Målet har varit att utreda hur applikationer utvecklas effektivt, det innebär att ta reda på svaren till vad som krävs av utvecklare för att kunna utveckla applikationer, vilka utvecklingsverktyg som finns, samt vilka problem som kan identifieras under utveckling.

Det blir allt vanligare att ägare till webbplatser anpassar sin webbplats till lågupplösta enheter som t. ex mobiltelefoner. För att genomföra en anpassning finns flera tekniska alternativ. I denna uppsats har det undersökts vilka tekniska aspekter som kan utgöra eventuella hinder när utvecklare möter webbyråkunders krav på upplösningsoberoende design med en av teknikerna, nämligen responsiv webbdesign. Arbetet innefattar en intervju med en webbyråkund som resulterade i en kravspecifikation som sedan stod till grund för en prototyp, där tekniken responsiv webbdesign testades och utvärderades.

Den globala temperaturökningen vi märker av idag är, enligt bland andra FN: s klimatpanel IPCC, delvis orsakad av människans utsläpp av växthusgaser. För att hantera klimatproblematiken på ett effektivt sätt och minska utsläppen, måste alla delar i samhället involveras. Det senaste året har miljöproblem, och framför allt det om den förstärkta växthuseffekten, kommit att betraktas som samhällsbyggnadsproblem. För att få med de flesta delar av samhället i arbetet med att minska utsläppen av växthusgaser, har man i Norrköpings kommun valt att arbete med problematiken i ett bredare perspektiv. Uppsatsen syftar till att undersöka hur Norrköpings kommun planerar att arbeta och arbetar med att minska sina utsläpp av klimatpåverkande gaser.

Many product launches are postponed today, however very little research regarding to customer responses to such events has been carried out. The purpose of this paper is to investigate how people react to a postponed product launch. An experimental study of responses to a postponed launch of a mobile phone, a mineral water and a music album is used to investigate customer reactions. The respondents exposed to the postponed launch showed a higher value of reactance. This reactance affects the attitude, purchase intention and perceived quality of the product in a negative way.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta undersöka hur utbildning inom datorämnen kan utformas för att svara upp mot de krav som arbetslivet ställer på yrkesverksamma hälso- och vårdadministratörer.Uppsatsen tar upp vilka kompetenser inom datorämnen som yrkesverksamma hälso- och vårdadministratörer anser man behöver behärska för att klara av de arbetsuppgifter som arbetet kräver.Uppsatsen tar även upp hur yrkesverksamma hälso- och vårdadministratörer anser att en utbildning inom datorämnen ska utformas för att ge kompetens att utföra framtida arbetsuppgifter som hälso- och vårdadministratörer.Metoden som har använts för att komma fram till resultatet har varit åtta stycken kvalitativa intervjuer med yrkesverksamma läkarsekreterare och hela uppsatsen ger en bra bild av vilken mjukvara och kompetens man måste behärska för att klara av arbetet som hälso- och vårdadministratör..

Freemium är en affärsmodell som används allt mer, framförallt inom spelbranschen. Då stora delar av utvecklarnas inkomst kommer från virtuella köp finns det anledning att undersöka hur spelare drivs till att köpa just virtuella objekt.Syftet med undersökningen var att kartlägga de aspekter som driver spelare att köpa virtuella objekt inom Freemium-spel på persondatorer (med operativsystemen Windows, OS X och Linux). Undersökningen bestod av litteratur-, enkät- och intervjustudier.Resultaten pekar på att spelare framförallt är måna om de visuella aspekterna hos de virtuella objekt de köper. Spelare tog avstånd från att virtuella objekt skulle ha någon funktionell innebörd om de gick att köpa för pengar. Detta då många spel idag är tävlingsinriktadeoch kräver god balans mellan de funktionella objekten i spelen.Resultatet har även visat att det finns utlösande faktorer så som realisationer, medspelares innehav av köpta virtuella objekt och säsongserbjudanden som driver spelarna till att köpa virtuella objekt..

Syftet med studien a?r, mot denna bakgrund, att underso?ka na?gra fo?ra?ldrars erfarenheter av samverkan med skolan i arbetet att fo?rhindra kra?nkande behandling och mobbning av deras egna barn. Studien syftar a?ven till att belysa fo?ra?ldrars roll som en resurs i va?rdegrundsarbetet generellt.

This thesis has been performed for the company System Andersson as a part of the bachelors degree in information technology at the School of Engineering in Jönköping. The thesis is based on the development of an iPhone application.System Andersson has an application for Android that is being used for their MPS system (material and production control system). Their customers, however, have also showed interest in being able to use this application for iPhone.The students handle the subject of iOS developing, including the design of the application, the use of the development language Objective-C, the use of the scripting language of Json used for server connections and SQL.The primary goal with this thesis has been to improve the students knowledge in such subjects as application development for mobile platforms, in such areas as Xcode, which is the development platform that Apple uses and Objective-C, which is the development language being used. The result of this thesis is an almost fully functional iOS application, similar to the Android application with some functionality missing..

This exploratory thesis uses qualitative research to investigate how digital music is beeing packaged. The main study consists of 11 deep interviews with key representatives of the digital music industry in Sweden. These are (record companies) EMI, SonyBMG, Universal, Warner, (DSP) InProdicon, (mobile operators) 3, TeliaSonera and (cell phone producer) SonyEricsson. Packaging is a concept of marketing that has specific implications depending on which good or service that is being packaged. Packaging occurs at different levels in the production chain.

This master thesis has been done at Enea Epact AB. The purpose of this thesis is to develop and implement a Link Quality Control algorithm for GPRS/EPGRS in the current testing tool. A Link Quality Control (LQC) shall take quality values from mobile stations and base stations and decide a codingsscheme that opimizes the throughput of data. The Advantage with LQC is that it adapts the used coding scheme to the channel quality. If the channel quality is too bad for the used coding scheme, a slower coding scheme with more redundancy should be selected.
