Projektimplementering : En processorientering för att identifiera kritiska framgångsfaktorer vid implementering av projekt
SammandragDenna studie tar upp problematiken vid införande av administrativa stödprojekt vid Uppsala universitet, främst hur motstånd till förändring kan motverkas. Problemet definieras genom frågan: Hur kan Uppsala universitet effektivisera implementeringen av administrativa stödprojekt? Syftet med denna studie är att lyfta fram kritiska framgångsfaktorer vid genomförandet av projekt. Färdigimplementerade administrativa stödprojekt studerades genom personliga intervjuer med projektansvariga och administratörer på institutioner. Upptäckterna analyserades med hjälp av en processorienterad teori baserad på Demingcykeln.
Evolutionär algoritm för schemaläggning av kontinuerligt skiftarbete : Schemaläggning med ergonomiska riktlinjer
Många organisationer har ett behov av bemanning hela dygnet alla dagar i veckan. Personal vid sådana organisationer organiseras i arbetslag som enligt ett arbetsschema löser av varandra under dygnets gång. Beroende på hur dessa arbetsscheman utformas kan de få en negativ inverkan på personalens hälsa. Den här rapporten handlar om utvecklandet av en algoritm som genererar arbetsscheman med ergonomiska riktlinjer, det vill säga arbetsscheman som utformats på ett sådant sätt att negativa effekter på personalens hälsa undviks. Algoritmen som utvecklas baseras på optimeringsalgoritmen Squeaky Wheel Optimization.
Masterplan för svetsavdelning : Förstudie
Det här examensprojektet har utförts på Volvo CE, Hauler & Loader Division, Arvika. Projektet ingick som ett avslutande moment i maskiningenjörsprogrammet vidKarlstads universitet. Volvo i Arvika tillverkar hjullastare vilket man har gjort sedan mitten av 60-talet. Fabriken har idag ca 1150 anställda som tillsammans levererar över 6000 hjullastare per år.Produktionsvolymen i Arvikafabriken ökar allt mer vilket medför att ett behov av många investeringar för att klara denna volymtillväxt har uppstått. Den huvudsakliga tillverkningen på svetsavdelningen består av fram- och bakramstillverkning.
Bakhjulsupphängning, fyrhjuling
Highland Group AB was helping a customer of theirs to create an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV), a project Highland has never been involved with before. For the wishbone arms of the wheel suspension, traditional manufacturing methods and tubes with cylindrical or square shaped cross section was preferred. We performed a simulation where the ATV was driving on a bumpy road too see the forces involved. With the results we proceeded to calculate the strength of the concepts to find out which is best suited for the tough environment in which the ATV is used. The concept that turned out to be the best was a wishbone made of circular cross section, which had good structural strength and did fulfill the demands that we required for the construction.
PRAKTISK BESTÄMNING AV KLÄMKRAFT OCH FRIKTION I SKRUVFÖRBAND
This report reflects an examination work performed for Getrag All Wheel Drive AB during the spring of 2005. Among the companies range of products there exists some concern regarding the amount of clamping force and friction on bolted joints caused by the assembly torque.The aim of this project has been to determine if there is a simple way in which to identify and then practically apply testing methods for clamping force and friction through utilization of existing testing equipment.Three separate methods of clamping force and friction determination have been tested in rear drive unit, RDU, at a 30 Nm assembly torque. A fourth and final method, screw elongation with ultrasound, has been used as reference. Den nya generationen KinBag : The new generation of KinBag
This report summarizes a Bachelor Degree Project in Integrated Product Development,carried out during the spring semester in 2007 by three students at the Product Design Engineering programme at the University of Skövde. The project was performed as an assignment for KinBag ab, a sister subsidiary to Kinnegrip ab in Lidköping, who develop,manufacture and market the golf bag KinBag, a bag with an integrated wheel carriage system. The purpose of the project was to redesign the golf bag to attract a target group consisting of golfers aged between 20 and 40.The layout of the project was as follows: The project began with a feasibility study where different problems were identified with the basis of a market research which eventually was summarized in a dynamic specification of requirements. The feasibility study was followed by a generation of ideas which contained everything from sketches to simple mock-ups with an intensive amount of thoughtful brainwork and information gathering in between. This ledto the development of a number of design concepts, both on an overall level and on different parts of the golf bag.

The most widely used solution is to fit a pulse counter to a wheel that is in contact with the strip. Common problems with this design are for instance scratch marks on the strip and problems with the flatness measuring system. One way of circumventing the aforementioned problems would be a non-contact measuring system. The market of today only offers systems based on the Doppler principle.This report evaluates three different systems for non-contact speed measurement. Important areas in the evaluation have been the ability to operate under normal rolling conditions, integration in existing control system and how well the sensor can be fitted to the rolling mill.

In studying the art of Counterinsurgency Warfare we are usually inclined to the reading of several books regarding this matter. Because of this some writers have the power to influence the minds of the reader. This can be of great benefit since it enables information sharing and for the reader a chance to learn from the triumphs, but also mistakes of others. However each writer is the creation of the time and context under which he existed. Because of the wheel of time certain things change, and because of the context a myriad of factors came into play affecting the outcome and product of the doings and thoughts of that specific occurrence.
Vision Enhancement System : Vilken betydelse har displayplaceringen?
At night, the visibility is reduced and the demands on the driver increase. A safety system that enables the driver to discover warmer objects in the surroundings when the visibility are reduced, such as the Vision Enhancement System (VES) contributes to safer night-time driving. Since the benefits of this system are established, it is of interest to investigate different design aspects. The VES display has in earlier studies been positioned in front of the driver but different display positions such as peripheral placement should be evaluated. The present simulator study is an investigation of the effects of different display positions inside the car.
Utvärdering och implementering av automatiska farthållare i fordonssimulator
Vehicle simulators are becoming more common in vehicle industries. Company earns lot of money on simulations instead of real tests. Real tests are necessary but not made so extensively as before.In this thesis the building of an vehice simulator will be described and a comparison between three different cruise controls. The three cruise controls are PI-regulator, a regulator who regulates after positions in the terrain and a MPC-regulator. The reason for choosing this three is to see the difference between simple regulation and more complex regulation with respect to fuel consumption, travel time and complexity.The vehicle simulator is made in Matlab/Simulink, Visual Studio and Open Scene Graph.
Utvärdering av mätplan, pinjong : För kortade bearbetningstider och ökade toleranser i monteringen
Getrag All Wheel Drive i Köping tillverkar i huvudsak transmissioner till fyrhjulsdrivna bilar.De har sett en besparingspotential om det är möjligt att sluta tillverka ett mätplan på pinjonghuvudets ovansida, detta används för att mäta in pinjongläget vid slutmonteringen av växlarna.I perioder har det uppstått kassationer på grund av slipbränningar på mätplanet men en stor del av besparingen ligger i kortade bearbetningstider. En önskan har även varit att det skall gå att få en ökad toleransvidd i monteringen för att minska antalet justeringar av monterade växlar.För att utreda om det skulle vara möjligt att ta bort mätplanet har ett antal koncept arbetats fram för att utvärderas gentemot de kriterier som måste uppfyllas.Konceptet med störst potential valdes ut med hjälp av olika jämförelsemetoder.Studien visar att det finns en möjlighet att bestämma pinjongläget genom att mäta i dubbhålet.De ändringar som måste göras är:- Ny mätstation vid inmätning av pinjonglägesshims där tjockleken påpinjonghuvudet mäts.- Ny meshingstation där pinjongen orienteras med hjälp av ett lagrat kontrollvärdeistället för att lokalisera med hjälp av mätplanet.- Ny kontrollstation för inmätning av pinjonghöjd där det måste gå att lokaliseraväxelhuset för att kompensera för lutningen på grund av att det inte går attmäta rakt under röraxelns centrumlinje.Möjligheten att helt utesluta mätmetoden bör undersökas.
Styrkan i OEE som arbetsmetod
The E-department at GETRAG All Wheel Drive in Köping have problems with the efficiency on parts of their production equipment. The equipment with the most significant efficiency problems are four automated multifunctional production cells that produces housing for rear drive units. The major part of the problem is the large amount of small stops that causes the low efficiency.The department already worked with logging of interruptions and efficiency calculations before this project started. However this work was not done to the extent considered necessary for a systematic follow-up of the interruptions.The aim of this paper is to point out a more effective and systematic way to work with logging of interruptions and the follow-up. In addition the equipment were studied with a method for efficiency calculation that ? if used properly- is a more powerful and a visually better method than the one used by the company today.As the initial current state analysis of the equipment was made a lack of documented knowledge about the equipment was discovered.

Generally, the economic health of Swedish roundwood truck transport companies has not been good. Profitability is important for maintaining the stability in the transport business, which is a condition for long-term transport planning in the forestry sector.
The scope of this study was to identify probable factors influencing the profitability of roundwood truck transport companies and quantify the influence of these factors on economic results.
The study was carried out at a major roundwood truck transport organisation in mid-Sweden and was implemented in four steps. In the first step economic results from the haulage contractors were collected and a random sample was taken from accounted net margin for the account year 2005/2006. In the second step hauliers were interviewed to identify probable success factors. At the third step data for identified factors were gathered through a questionnaire.
Konsumentbeteendet på Mobiltelefonmarknaden : En studie om applikationsanvändandet
Studien är en undersökning om hur olika delar av konsumentbeteendet bland applikationsanvändare ser ut. En applikation är ett program eller en tjänst som tillför en ny funktion i mobiltelefonen. Studiens syfte och problemformulering hur olika delar av konsumentbeteendet ser ut och utifrån det ta fram den typiske applikationsanvändaren. Som teoretisk referensram används en bearbetad version av Peter & Olsons (2008) Wheel of consumer analysis som vi kallar konsumenthjulet. Konsumenthjulet består av affekt och kognition, konsumenters omgivning och beteende.
