Detta arbete handlar om antivirusprogram och vad det finns för hjälpmedel för hemanvändare utan teknisk bakgrund att finna det antivirusprogram som passar dem bäst. Målet med arbetet är att producera en guide för hemanvändare som ska hjälpa dem inför deras val av antivirusprogram. I detta arbete har tre olika metoder använts för att besvara de frågor och den hypotes som ställts. Först gjordes en litteraturstudie där bakgrundsmaterial inhämtades. Nästa steg var att genomföra intervjuer med experter inom området för att ta reda på vad guiden skulle innehålla.

The knowledge of the chloride content and its fluxes and patterns in trees is insufficient. Increased knowledge would be desirable, one of many reasons is to be able to more efficiently meet the problems that the substance causes in the pulp industry. The purpose of this study was to examine and describe the chloride concentration of Norwegian spruce (Picea abies L. Karst.) in the south of Sweden. Furthermore the aim was to be able to predict chloride concentration from readily measurable site factors.

High levels of ammonia in grass silage have been up for discussion by Swedish advisers. One reason is that it is more difficult for the rumen-microbes to utilise high levels of ammonia. A low level of ammonia is also good because if the cattle can use more of the protein in the silage, they don?t need so much protein concentrate. That is very good for the economy at the farm, and it is also good for the environmental problems caused by high levels of ammonia. In this project, 24 samples of silage have been taken at 20 different farms in the south west of Sweden.

År 2006 levde 17,7 miljoner kvinnor, globalt, med HIV: ett virus som ännu inte har eliminerats, med behandlingar som resulterar i biverkningar och ofta ger resistensutveckling. Syftet för denna uppsats var att studera kvinnornas upp-levelser och erfarenheter av stigma som ett resultat av deras HIV/AIDS diagnos och att analysera och kommunicera ett perspektiv på omsorg. En litteraturstudie baserad på kvalitativa artiklar genomfördes. Resultaten visade att kvinnorna konfronterades med en varierande uppsättning negativa, förutfattade attityder från partners, familjemedlemmar, vänner och arbetskamrater när de avslöjade sin HIV/AIDS status vilket påverkade deras självbild. Om de valde att hemlighålla HIV/AIDS fick kvinnorna kontrollera information rörande sina symtom, gömma mediciner eller omklassificera sina tillstånd till andra sjukdomar.

Att skydda sin IT-miljö mot olika typer av intrång och attacker som till exempel trojaner,skadliga Java applets eller DoS attacker med hjälp av brandväggar och antivirusprogramär två viktiga lager i skalskyddet.I den här uppsatsen undersöks hur väl ett Intrusion Prevention System skulle kunna fungera som ett ytterligare lager i skalskyddet. Fokus ligger på hur väl IPS-systemet klarar av att avvärja attacker, hur mycket tid som går åt till konfigurering och drift för att få ett fungerande IPS samt hur prestandan i nätverket påverkas av implementationen. För att mäta hur väl IPS systemet klarar av att upptäcka och blockera attacker utförs två experiment där ett mindre nätverk attackeras på olika sätt. I det första experimentet skyddas infrastrukturen av en brandvägg och klienterna är utrustade med antivirusprogram. I det andra experimentet genomförs samma attacker igen fast med ett Snort IPS implementerat i nätverket.Resultatet av de genomförda experimenten visar att en IPS klarar att blockera ca 87% av attackerna, men nätverksprestandan påverkas negativt.

In search of a stage language that resonates in historical disciplines, I have explored the possibility to expand my performing arts through the language of Indian classical Odissi, through different forms of storytelling. In my work I have focused primarily on two projects inspired by the original scripts of Macbeth by William Shakespeare and Breaking Bad by Vince Gilligan. I have outlined examples of methods and techniques used in the process.The work also shows how Odissi has evolved from a religious and philosophical tradition of temple dance; into modern stage theatre performance.The work aims to connect Odissi with western performing art. In this process I have been using my own knowledge about Odissi as a tool in combining both the traditions, a fusion in action.I will physically examine the artistic idiom, the characteristics, the actions and deeds found in stylized Odissi imagery and symbols, traditionally used to embody mythological and epic stories. A rendezvous between East and West.

Det huvudsakliga syftet med studien är att undersöka om läsare och skribenter har samma begrepp bakom de sju termerna och hur deras begrepp stämmer överens med normkällorna. Ett ytterligare syfte är att undersöka hur etablerade de sju termerna är i såväl en fackspråklig som en allmänspråklig diskurs. Den första delen av studien grundar sig på en enkät där de två olika grupperna fått svara på vilka termer de anser sig förstå för att sedan ge en parafras på termerna. Svaren är analyserade med hjälp av kognitiv lingvistik, ramteori och terminologisk begreppsanalys.

This essay focuses on the function and development of city harbors during the middle ages in the Scanian part of Öresund. The purpose of the survey is to take a closer look at topography, development and activities on the shores in three coastal cities along the west coast of Scania. The cities that has been part of the survey are: Skanör ? Falsterbo, Malmoe and Landskrona, three cities that follows each other chronologically and that show both similarities and differences in appearance, function and urbanization.The cities of Skanör ? Falsterbo and Malmoe were important market places for the medieval Scania market with the herring fishery in focus. The cities? birth has to be looked upon in relation to these activities.

Croatia became an independent country 1991 and has since then strived to reach a democracy level, which can lead to membership of the European Union. The purpose of this essay is on the basis of consolidate democratic perspective to illustrate Croatia?s democratic development.In order to fulfil the aim, I have applied a qualitative text analysis technique. Through analysis of books and documents, data was collected to accommodate a valid result. I have used consolidated democracy, with its five areas (political, civil, economic, legal and bureaucratic), as my theoretical framework to the data, to provide answers and develop an analysis.The conclusions show that the consolidate democracy in Croatia has developed a lot since the independence, and Croatia is on its good way to turn into a democratic state like other West-European countries.

The values of the Swedish school system is said to be rooted in the ethics of Christianity and western humanism. Critics say that this expression can be seen as a sign of an obscured eurocentrism when world-wide accepted values is said to be cared for by Christianity and the west. The purpose of this paper is to examine how the politicians argue on this issue, why the values of the Swedish school system should be said to be cared for by the ethics of Christianity and the western humanism. I also want to examine if these arguments in fact corresponds with the worldview of eurocentrism. The examination consists of a discourse analysis review of, for example, journals of the Swedish parliament, which is later compared with the theories of eurocentrism.I believe the argumentation can be categorized in three main categories: first a conservative ideological perspective where they are driven by the notion that the Swedish culture could be defined by establishing and defending its foundations; a philosophical/religious perspective where they want to justify the indisputable values they believe should be maintained in the schools; a eurocentric/psychological perspective where they tend to express the Swedish identity by defining what is typically characteristic of ?us? and typically characteristic of ?the others?.

The purpose with this essay is to take part of the process when a family is placed on the family-institution, Trollbacken. We want to know what makes the social welfare secretaries place a family in institutional care. Has Trollbacken lived up to the social welfare secretary expectations and are the social welfare secretaries following Trollbackens recommendation regarding the follow up treatment. We also want to know to what value the social welfare secretary assigns Trollbackens investigation and are they able to see changes in the family due to the placing on Trollbacken. The method is qualitative and is based on interviews from six social welfare secretaries that work around and in West Sweden.

Human Papilloma virus (HPV) can lead to cervical cancer, a common form of cancer in Sweden and globally. A vaccine has been developed for the most carcinogenic strains of HPV. In Sweden it is planned that the vaccine be included in the public national vaccination program for children. The aim of this study was to illustrate attitudes towards future sexual habits and preventive cervical cancer screening among young women and parents of girls vaccinated against HPV. This study is a part of a larger project where interviews with young women aged 17 to 26 years and parents of girls aged 13 to 17 years compose the foundation.

Bakgrund: Pneumoni är en infektion i lungvävnaden som orsakas av bakterier, virus, svamp eller av andra mikrober. Pneumoni är en vanlig och kostsam sjukdom som orsakar en betydande sjuklighet och dödlighet bland den äldre befolkningen. Munhålan har länge misstänkts vara en källa för mikroorganismer som orsakar pneumoni. Syftet: Syftet med studien var att genom en granskning av vetenskaplig litteratur redogöra för sambandet mellan bristfällig munvård och pneumoni hos äldre vårdtagare samt att undersöka om munvård kan minska risken för uppkomsten av pneumoni. Metod: En litteraturstudie som grundar sig på 10 kvantitativa forskningsstudier.

The storm Gudrun in 2005 led to massive windthow damage in forests in southern Sweden. Since then there has been a growing interest in factors influencing wind damage in above all Norway spruce (Picea Abies) stands. Although many other interesting areas still need to be examined. In 2005 there where a lot of stands that suffered different degrees of damage, a lot of these stands weren?t cut, but instead left to grow. The future development of these stands is uncertain and the guidelines are unclear.
