Patienter som är inlagda på vårdavdelningar på sjukhus har olika upplevelser av rummets utformning och inredning. Vår erfarenhet är att patientrum har vita väggar, textilier med diskreta färger och inga tavlor. Vad kännetecknar en utformning och inredning som är hälsobringande för patienten? En omgivning som människor är tillfreds med skapar balans i tillvaron och stärker det psykiska välbefinnandet och den fysiska hälsan. En viss form av arkitektur kan också bidra till uppkomsten av stress.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med denna studie är att undersöka vad elever i årskurs nio har för uppfattning om begreppet hälsa. Ambitionen är att nå en djupare förståelse för hur elever tänker och resonerar kring begreppet hälsa.Frågeställning:Vad har elever i årskurs nio för uppfattning kring begreppet hälsa?MetodDenna studie bygger på ostrukturerade intervjuer utifrån den kvalitativa metoden. Författaren har intervjuat fyra elever, två killar och två tjejer i årskurs nio. Intervjuerna har skett vid tre olika tillfällen med samma deltagare alla gånger.ResultatFrån resultaten av intervjuerna kan man dra slutsatsen att dessa elever var relativt samstämmiga i uppfattningen om vad begreppet hälsa innebär.

Bakgrund: Arbetsgivare kan stödja de anställdas hälsa genom att erbjuda friskvårdsbidrag. Flera faktorer påverkar individer till att välja hälsorelaterade beteenden. Self-efficacy är en sådan faktor vilket innebär individens tilltro sin egen förmåga att klara en uppgift. Syfte: Studiens syfte var att undersöka relationen mellan self-efficacy och nyttjande av friskvårdsbidrag. Vidare undersöktes fysisk aktivitetsnivå och upplevt hälsotillstånd relaterat till dessa två faktorer.

FaR is physical activity on recipe that primary health care providers can prescribe their patients.The aim of this study was to investigate how a project in which, FaR patients are prescribed by the health center to a Wellness facility may succeed.

Public health focuses on interventions related to physical activity during leisure and at work under conditions where health care is offered during working hours. Increased physical activity offers many positive effects on health in general and reduces the risk for most injuries and illnesses. Female cleaners represent a profession that is largely composed of women at high risk of overload injury and rarely participate in Wellness initiatives offered at workplace. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of 20 minutes of daily physical exercise for 10 weeks of intervention for healthy female cleaners. A total of 40 female cleaners in a larger organization participated in the study and were divided in into an intervention group and a control group.

Society and the workplace are two factors that are important for the individual's health status. It is important that the individuals has the right skills to take care of their health. For organizations, it is important to strive for the welfare of their employees. This has proven to have a positive impact on work performance, reduced absenteeism and reduced costs for rehabilitation. In 2007, the local authorities in Umeå implemented a Wellness offering for all employees working in the municipality administration.

A decade ago the organic egg production in Sweden was nearly nonexistent (Föreningen för ekologisk fjäderfäproduktion, 2008). A rising demand for these products in the beginning of year 2000 made the organic egg production the most increasing production of all organic provisions. The Swedish consumers value provision production that have a reduced impact on the environment and further protects the Wellness of animals and plants (Jordbruksverket, 2010). Today, the organic egg production composes roughly 6 % of the total egg production in Sweden. This indicates that the ambition of Jordbruksverket, which has an organic egg production goal of 10 % of the total production, is not yet achieved.The consumer demand on the market is the driving force for these new products, and the higher prices contribute to an essential portion of the additional costs of organic egg production (Jordbruksverket, 2004).

Abstract A qualitative study of stress management within geriatric care Authors: Hildingsson, Emelie & Magnusson, JessicaSupervisor: Hjorth Aronsson, Christina Essay topic related to stress and stress management in the geriatric care. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how the unit managers, within care of elderly, in their role as manager and leader handle possible stress reactions among its nursing staff. Our purpose will generate the following issues;         How does the employer discover stress among the employees?        In what way is the stress taken care of among the geriatric care staff?What opportunities are there to prevent stress?The study is based on a qualitative research method. As a data collection method we've used semi-structured interviews and we have implemented them in five female heads in a medium-sized municipality in Sweden.

Bakgrund: Sambandet mellan fysisk aktivitet och psykisk hälsa har under senare åren studerats allt oftare.  Fysisk aktivitet kan förebygga olika sjukdomstillstånd och många rapporter stöder att motion är bra för människan. För att kroppen ska fungera optimalt behövs fysisk aktivitet. Stillasittande yrken och dålig motion är vardag för många. Folk verkar bli ohälsosammare tidigare och fysisk aktivitet skulle kunna vara en del av en lösning i en hälsosammare livsstil. Det finns ett samband med träning och bättre hälsa och förmåga .

Det har alltid funnits ett behov att styra den framtida ekonomiska utvecklingen i företag och under 1990-talet har balanserat styrkort blivit en populär styrmodell inom både den privata och den offentliga sektorn. Bakgrunden till att svenska kommuner börjat använda sig av det balanserade styrkortet var behovet att kunna se till mer än de ekonomiska måtten. Enligt upphovsmännen Kaplan och Norton har det balanserade styrkortet gått från att vara ett mätsystem till att på senare tid bli sett som ett strategiskt managementsystem. Vi kommer i detta examensarbete genom en fallstudie utvärdera hur socialtjänsten inom Umeå kommun använder det balanserade styrkortet som ett strategiskt managementsystem. Socialtjänsten är en icke vinstdrivande verksamhet som står inför ett ökat tryck att prestera väl både idag och i framtiden.
