The purpose of this study is to increase the understanding for how home care services interpret and handle situations with and around caretakers alcohol use. Interviews have been conducted with two managers and six basic staff in two different home care service-groups. The interviews were individual with the managers and in group form with the staff. The interviews have been analyzed using Hasenfeld?s theory on Human Service Organizations and moral practice together with Beronius? interpretation of disciplinary exercise of power.

While the technological infrastructure that enables collaboration between municipalities, counties and private health care providers improves, so does the need for health-care providers to gain access to the right patient journal at the right time. For doctors, nurses and other health-care organization employees this goal is achieved by NPÖ, National Patient Summary. NPÖ effectively enables health-care records to be shared across organizational boundaries. This thesis is based on a demand by a mobile application that can give district nurses access to health-care records wherever they are.This thesis describes the development of a prototype of a mobile application aimed for NPÖ. This includes investigating a suitable mobile platform, investigating available card readers for reading electronic identification from SITHS cards and the ability to connect to external services such as NPÖ.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how directors of preschool apply the mandatory reporting and what information they say is important in the decision to report child maltreat-ment. The study was built on five semi-structure interviews with five directors of preschool working in Greater Stockholm. The perspective of this paper is sociology of law theory. This means to study how out of law information makes sense when director of preschool applies the mandatory reporting. The result was analysed with three different analytic tools: action plan, consulting social services and the considerations of the directors of preschool them-selves.

I have in this essay, studied both the definition of the concepts segregation and integration and how you as an urban planner can promote integration, by working with increased feeling of security and more venues. The aim is to cast light on these two tools and how you within city planning can use them to create a more equal society. To gain a wide base of knowledge, I have studied both government and municipal reports as well as prior investigations where these methods have been used. I have also interviewed a landscape architect who actively works with questions regarding integration in Malmö, to get information as recent as possible about their work today. Malmö is today a segregated city with large gaps between the residential areas when it comes to economic possibilities and the composition of inhabitants.

Children that are taken care of for institutional care by the social services are unprivileged as a group. When society takes over the parenting role, it forces local governments and other accountable authorities to guarantee these children satisfactory support and good care according to each child's needs. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and discuss problems with implementation in policy processes when authorities incorporate. From the normative standpoint of legal security and the United Nations Children's Convention, this thesis investigates the consequences of interaction between two Swedish supervisory authorities for the social services: Socialstyrelsen and länsstyrelserna. To fulfill the aim I will investigate the approach taken by the authorities and the work division between Socialstyrelsen and länsstyrelserna.

The essay concerns corporation?s usage and consumer?s attitude towards the phenomenon Big Data. The aim is to analyse whether corporation-management and future ambitions concerning consumer data coincide with attitudes and opinions of today's consumer, and how these opinions reflect consumer behaviour online. The essay is limited to focus on how companies use consumer data in order to better understand and improve the efficiency of their marketing. A self-composed analyse-model was created using previous studies concerning Internet-usage in Sweden, previous management analysis of corporations use of Big Data combined with theory of Cognitive Dissonance. A questionnaire was then created with the analyse model as foundation.

I denna uppsats görs en diskursanalys av alliansregeringens integrationspolitik avsedd för åren 2008 till 2010. Syfte är att titta på hur integrationspolitiken är organiserad, vilka beskrivningar och föreställningar som kommer till uttryck kring integration och vilka konsekvenser organiseringen kan få i integrationspolitiken. Den teoretiska och metodologiska utgångspunkten är diskursteori där fokus ligger på språket och hur föreställningar om verkligheten organiseras. I studien påvisas hur integrationspolitiken bygger på en föreställning om ett homogent och harmoniskt samhälle. ?Utanförskap? och ?mångfald? upprättas som yttre gränser för samhället och som hot mot ordningen.

Under vår skolförlagda utbildning har vi varit på olika skolor, där vi sett att lärarnas undervisning varierade stort i dessa skolor. Vi undrar varför det är så mycket ämnesstrukturerad undervisning ute på skolorna och varför inte lärarna undervisar mer ämnesintegrerat när vi ser att det finns möjligheter till detta. En av de viktigaste uppgifterna som verksamma lärare bör ha, är att ge eleverna möjligheter till överblick och sammanhang mellan ämnen. Syftet med vår studie var att undersöka varför lärarna integrerar och varför inte lärarna integrerar i skolorna. Vår undersökning grundar sig på telefonintervjuer med 25 lärare från två kommuner.Vår studie visar att lärarna integrerar ämnena för att eleverna ska förstå samband och se helheter.

The purpose of this legal dogmatic Bachelor Thesis is to define the legal definition of ?a rescue service? and illustrate the division of responsibilities between national authorities and the municipalities with regards to the execution of emergency response operations.?A rescue service? means the emergency response actions that national and municipal authorities are legally obliged to provide to prevent or minimise injury to people and damage to property or the environment when emergencies occur or seem imminent. In the following cases a national authority is responsible for providing the requisite rescue service:1. Denna studie syftade till att öka förståelsen för hur mottagandet av äldre invandrare kan upplevas i en svensk medelstor kommun. Frågeställningarna rörde hur företrädare för invandrades egna organisationer och yrkesverksamma uppfattar att mottagandet fungerar. För att undersöka detta har dokument rörande mottagandet av invandrare i kommunen undersökts. Företrädare för tre olika invandrarorganisationer har intervjuats enskilt och tre yrkesverksamma kommunala tjänstemän har deltagit i en fokusgruppsintervju i ämnet. Med hjälp av Aaron Antonovskys individteori känsla av sammanhang (KASAM), Roine Johanssons organisationsteori och Berth Danermarks tankar om samverkan har materialet analyserats hermeneutiskt.

I vår undersökning ville vi belysa unga förtagenerations-invandrarkvinnors identitets förändring. Dessa unga kvinnor lever under inflytande av två kulturer där deras identitetstillhörighet till sitt ursprung oftast bestäms av ett essentialistiskt synsätt, vilket innebär att den definieras av ett gemensamt ursprung och en speciell kulturtillhörighet. Men kvinnorna i vår studie visar att deras identitet egentligen bygger mer på ett konstruktivistiskt synsätt där den kulturella identiteten inte bestäms av en gemensam tillhörighet utan att identiteten förändras och omskapas hela tiden beroende på den situation man befinner sig i. Vi har gjort ett urval där vi har valt aktiva och kvinnor som har ansträngt sig för att integreras i det svenska samhället och inte valt ?den traditionella hemmafrun?.

The purpose of this study is to examine the accessibility with public transportation in the case of the Umeå Region in northern Sweden. This is done by GIS network analysis where both access to transit stops, as well as access by public transport from stops to destinations is examined. An accessibility index is created from transit frequency and travel times to destinations. The results is compared with population register data to calculate what shares of the population has which levels of accessibility with public transportation. In the Umeå Region there are different levels of accessibility by public transport for different parts of the region, where transit stops in the most densely populated areas has the highest levels of accessibility, as well as stations along the railroads.

This thesis examine if social voluntary organisations are independent or if they are being regulated by the public sector. We ask how free the organisations are since they get so much support and funding from the municipality. This is examined by looking at the homogenisation pressure, which means that organisations are being exposed by a pressure to become more similar. The control that the municipality has over the organisations is another aspect in this paper. The study focuses on the relation between the municipality of Linköping and three social voluntary organisations and their characteristics.

It is a qualitative study that describes and analyzes how professionals deal with social issues of inclusiveness and ethics in the investigation of cases involving interventions for adolescents. The focus is on the strategies that staff in social services expressed in terms of obstacles and opportunities for working participatively and especially when it comes to dealing with ethical dilemmas that may arise.    The method used was qualitative research interviews. Five social workers from two different municipalities were interviewed and the material is analyzed on the basis of socio-cultural theory and organizational theory. Themes that emerged were participation, ethics, discretion and flexibility, collaboration, organization, skills and time. The main obstacles that have emerged in the study are that those who work in social services have had been difficulties to fully create participation due to various factors.

The purpose of the study is to examine and analyze the relation between the existence of global companies and given support to immigrant- owned companies with large cultural difference from public services. This helps answering the question "Which affect does the existence of local dominating companies have on the establishment of small companies owned by immigrants with large cultural differences?" This has been accomplished through a field study containing twelve interviews with small companies in two different cities and two interviews with the community officials in each city. The research was thereby narrowed to only treat the two cities in Sweden in order to examine the relation between public services support to small immigrant-owned companies and how the immigrants experience the support from them. The analyze was made due to a handful of theories such as the The network theory IP model, Hofstede's 4+1 model and the Product Life Cycle.
