Teknikens utveckling har gått fort fram de senaste åren, dagens smartphoneanvändare harmöjligheten att utföra ärenden som det för något år sedan krävdes en dator för. I denna studieutfördes en undersökning av mobila Internet-användares vanor och vad som är utmärkandeför mobilt internetanvändande. Tio respondenter förde loggbok där de fyllde i ett detaljeratschema för varje aktivitet, bl.a. var och vad de besökte. De tio respondenterna intervjuadessedan för att få ett djupare intryck av deras mobila internetavändande.Resultaten visar att den vanligaste platsen för surfning skedde i hemmet, respondenternatrodde dock att de skedde under transport.

Stötvågsbehandling är en behandlingsmetod som sedan början av 1990-talet blivit allt vanligare när det gäller behandling av tendinoser. Tendinoser är bla vanligt förekommande i rotatorcuffen och armbågen. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att undersöka vad det finns för evidens för stötvågsbehandling vid tendinos i rotatorcuffen och vid lateral epicondylalgia. Artikelsökningen utfördes i databaserna Pubmed, PEDro, CINAHL, Medline och COCHRANE. Sökningen genomfördes under januari och februari 2011.

The purpose of this project was to invite a changed perception of active sitting, to introduce a more active way of sitting in office environments and destigmatize an active sitting posture such as straddling by giving active sitting products conscious aesthetics based on environment and positive associations. The goal with this project was an active sitting product for office environments with aesthetics considered encouraging to movement in a relaxed way, regardless of age and gender, and connect to materials and aesthetics related to activity, experience and recreation. Horseback riding, retro style surfing and skateboarding was an entry of investigation. The project was based on existing active sitting products, their function and production techniques. It was not a part of the project to investigate new models of sitting.

Kraftindustrin arbetar oavbrutet med att försöka höja och upprätthålla dammsäkerheten i Sverige. Erosionsskydd för fyllningsdammar skall dimensioneras och utformas så att de medverkar till en god dammsäkerhet. Vid dimensionering och projektering av erosionskydd måste vågberäkningar utföras för att bedöma angripande våglast. I Sverige genomförs dessa beräkningar utifrån kraftföretagens riktlinjer för dammsäkerhet, RIDAS. Uträkningarna och bedömningar av våglasterna är ur dammsäkerhetssynpunkt viktiga eftersom de ofta avgör erforderligt fribord.

Coping theory asks what the cognitive and behavioral patterns of individuals dealing with stress are. This essay includes, besides the perspective of the psychology of religion, theories of culture and ritual in exploring two Swedes coping with the natural disaster in Thailand year 2004. The vacation paradise was struck by an enormous flood wave, called a tsunami, causing vast destruction and the death of over 200.000 people. Among these 543 were Swedes on vacation. When a disaster of such measures happens, what kind of stress does it cause? How do you cope? Are religion and ritual important? What is the function of the culture in the copingprocess? Using hermeneutical analysis this essay interprets the material from two books by Swedes, who not only experienced the disaster, but lost two children and husband and wife in the flood wave.

The plants in the genus Elatine are characteristic for oligo and mesotrophic lakes. This study focuses on Elatine hexandra one of the four species in Sweden. It is stated as vulnerable by the National Environment Agency and a conservation plan with guidelines to preserve the plant in Sweden is under preparation. There have been a few previous studies investigating this plant in other countries but this is the first one for Sweden. The aim of this study was to investigate the distribution, growth and reproduction of E.

This report investigates a possible solution to the problem with adapting wave powerplants to work in countries with tidal water. The wire connecting the buoy at the surface with the generator at the bottom needs to adjust to the varying water depth. Our solution to this problem is to attach the wire to a jack which is then placed inside the buoy. The jack is then powered by an electric engine. The report discuss what forces the buoy will be exposed to and then the structural integrity of the design is evaluated through simulations.

For a user that repeatedly comes back to the same site, the case is often that they know what they are looking for. The problem is to isolate the important information from all the other information embedding it.We would like to state that we have found one possible solution to this problem, where the user himself can define what information he is looking for at a specific server, then scan the server when visiting it with his browser.

Den här studien bygger dels på en narrativ analys av artiklar i Smålandsposten och deras gestaltning av Orrefors Kosta Boda, dels på en fallstudie över Orrefors Kosta Bodas externa och interna kommunikation där den externa kommunikationen hamnar i fokus. Problemformuleringen ställer följande frågor:Hur konstruerar de lokala medierna bilden av Orrefors Kosta Boda och vad är det som utmärker deras texter?? Kan en organisation få publicitet i de lokala medierna utan att använda sig av en medveten kommunikationsstrategi och hur går det att förstå detta?? Om Orrefors Kosta Boda använder sig av kommunikativa strategier för att synas i de lokala medierna, vilka är dessa?? I vilken uträckning har Orrefors Kosta Boda AB samma budskap till sina medarbetare som till medier?? Vilken relation och kommunikation har Orrefors Kosta Boda med de kommuner där de har sin verksamhet?Studien bygger på fem olika nyckelord: organisationskommunikation, ledarskap, strategisk kommunikation, integrerad kommunikation samt mediekonstruktioner ? narratologi.Resultatet visar att det går att få publicitet utan att använda sig av en medveten kommunikationsstrategi gentemot medier. Det finns flera andra faktorer som spelar in förutom en riktad marknadsföring. I det här fallet har Orrefors Kosta Boda blivit uppköpt av New Wave Group som har skapat stort intresse i både medier och affärsvärlden.

The aim of this report was to investigate if Sweden can have 100 % renewable electricity production in the year 2050. The conclusion is that it is possible but under certain conditions. For instance wave power must be in commercial use. When wind power and solar power represent a large percentage of the electric production there will be a lack of electric power during the winter but during the summer there will be a surplus of electric power. Both the surplus and the lack of electric power need to be taken into account.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is about facing responsibilities towards a company?s employees, customers, stakeholders, suppliers and the environment. As customers and consumers came to seek companies that were dealing with CSR a rapid wave of ?forced? implementations of social responsibility began. Fair Travel Tanzania, which has CSR as the foundation of the company, says that they are transparent about what they do and how they give back to the locals, could it be a problem with this? And how do they actually give back to the locals? Is it possible to measure the impact of CSR activities within the company? And if so, how?.

In today's society there is a significant focus on energy efficiency. Despite this, people leave lamps, televisions and computer screens etc. powered on unnecessarily. The goal of this project is to build a simple prototype for home automation where a user, via an application on a mobile phone, can switch on and off the power of an electrical products in the home and as well as being able to check whether such products are switched on or off. The prototype will also collect data on power consumption for these electrical products.

Mobiltelefonen är ständigt närvarande i vår vardag. Den är ett kraftfullt verktyg som hjälper oss med allt från att surfa på nätet till att kolla när bussen går eller att betala räkningarna. Den har också gjort att vi kan dela med oss av våra liv och hålla kontakten med våra nära och kära var vi än befinner oss. Kort sagt har den ändrat hur vi beter oss i de flesta situationer. Men alla dessa ändringar är kanske inte lika positiva.
