In recent years the construction industry has been exposed to increased time pressure which has resulted in a higher amount of wastage. Today 35 % of all construction projects in Sweden is "wasted". Time pressure has risen due to increased competition on the market, with more actors entering the construction business, therefore profit margins decreased which has led to a more pressing need for decreasing the amount of wastage.Bravida is Scandinavia's largest supplier of installations and provides specialist services in electrical installations (heating and sanitation), and ventilation. Mahdi Bawaqneh's task was to investigate where, how and why wastage occurs in the company's projects and how to prevent such wastage. The thesis covers the subjects of lean production, communication in projects and planning of projects.

Vi har utfört en kartläggning av Hageby familjecentral med fokus på hur samverkan fungerar mellan de olika verksamheterna; öppen förskola, barnavårdscentral och socialtjänsten. Vi har utgått från de teman som framkommit utifrån två enkätundersökningar respektive två gruppintervjuer. Dessa riktade sig dels till personalen på familjecentralen samt ledningsgruppen för verksamheten. Centrala teman som framkom var syfte/mål, samverkan, samverkansavtal, yrkesroller, prevention/förebyggande arbete, sekretess/etik och myndighetsutövning. I analysen har vi diskuterat dessa och exemplifierat med citat från våra informanter och sedan kopplat vårt resonemang till aktuell litteratur.

Problem: Companies are becoming more active in social media. They usechannels such as Facebook, to communicate and interact with theirenvironment. In connection with this, companies must also be prepared todeal with crises in social media. Previous research shows no clear guidelineson how companies can work in social media to prevent crises.Purpose: The purpose of this qualitative study is to examine how companiesin the communications industry can work with Facebook to prevent crises.We hope that our study can provide new perspectives and guidance on howcompanies can work with emergency communication for prevention.Methodology: We used a qualitative research to arrive at our results. Thismeant we got an insight into the complex world that companies are workingin.

The release of green house gases and the environmental impacts humans have on the environment are huge and might cause irreversible changes to our earth. Meat is considered to have large impacts on the environment, especially beef meat and therefore there have lately been considerable discussions on the sustainable level of meat consumption and production. The main goal with this thesis is to study sustainable meat production and meat consumption in the county of Dalarna in Sweden. Indicators for sustainable meat production and meat consumption were developed and applied on three cases. Interviews were carried out with a municipality in the region that represents the consumer and three beef farmers that represents the producers.

The purpose is to understand the planning process for residential buildings and toinvestigate the consequences of the choices made in the process. The project will alsoprovide broader knowledge in the design and development under the current law andpractice.The goal is to present a proposal on how a city near the site where water can bedesigned from a sustainable perspective. How can a residential neighborhood be anenvironmentally sound and sustainable region? New systems and techniques havebeen presented previously in terms of sustainable environments and these are intendedof being used in the project Quarter Water-mirror.The project has been implemented on the computer program ArchiCAD in whichdrawings and visualizations have been carried out. These drawings are included asannexes to the report.For information, calculations and drawings, laws for physical planning and Swedishstandard have been followed.Residential buildings have been designed on a site, which is 2, 5 hectares.

The scope of this project is to make a comparison of costs associated with wind and nuclear power in order to decide which one of these is the most suitable in the case of an increased demand for electricity. It is also investigated if there are other factors that can influence the choice of energy source.An average cost is calculated in terms of kronor per kilowatt-hour (SEK/kWh) using cost of investment, operation & maintenance and taxes & subsidies. Total investment cost is recalculated to production cost using the annuity method at three different interest rates (6%, 9% and 12%).The comparison is made between three cases of wind power and two cases of nuclear power. For wind power there are two ocean-based (300MW and 100MW installed capacity, respectively) and one land-based (60MW) wind farm. For nuclear power there is one EPR-reactor (1600MW) and one AP1000-reactor (1100MW).

Syftet med studien var att sammanställa vetenskaplig litteratur angående patienternas livskvalitet samt sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsåtgärder med avseende på orala komplikationer som är ett vanligt förekommande problem hos patienter inom palliativ vård. Våra frågeställningar var: Hur påverkar orala komplikationer livskvalitet hos patienter inom palliativ vård? Vilka omvårdnadsåtgärder kan sjuksköterskan utföra dels för att patienter ska bibehålla god oral status och dels för att patienternas resurser stärks och balansen mellan dagliga livets krav och inre respektive yttre resurser upprätthålls? Metod: En litteraturstudie baserad på elva vetenskapliga artiklar. Som teoretisk referensram valdes Carnevalis balansmodell, Dagligt liv - Funktionellt hälsotillstånd. Resultatet visar att fysiska besvär och psykosocialt lidande till följd av orala komplikationer påverkade patienternas livskvalitet i stor utsträckning.

The aim of this thesis is to contribute to a better understanding of the FRA-law. The focus of the study is to examine how Swedish politicians relate to the new draft of this law on intelligence. Key themes in the study are security, threats, surveillance and privacy. The power relationship between the individual and the state is also examined. Empirical data used in this study consists of a spoken plenary debate in the House which was held in connection with the adoption of the FRA law in June 2008.

Since the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) was adopted in 1979 there has been evident progress in the area of women's rights in great parts of the world, although this progress is still foremost concentrated to the Westernhemisphere. In Argentina, the work with gender equality and women's rights set of strongly during the last decade. The country has ratified the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and the Inter-American Convention on the Prevention, Punishmentand Eradication of Violence against Women "Convention of Belem Do Para" but still women and girls are victims of structural discrimination and serious impunity of their rights on a daily basis.The current situation proves that the positive changes within the context of international and national law do not necessary reach out to the population to the same extent. In the light of the lacking popular involvement and knowledge of their rights, a different type of solution is desirable. Therefore it would be of interest to examinate the role of Non Governmental Organisations (NGO:s) when it comes to implementing human rights in the society and ?the every day life?.

Sjuksköterskor som vårdar cancersjuka barn har höga krav på sig. De ska fungera som ett stöd till både patienten och till patientens anhöriga. Barnen de vårdar är även sjukare än andra barn. De många kraven sjuksköterskan har på sig kan leda till stress. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva hur vårdandet av cancersjuka barn kan påverka sjuksköterskan med avseende på upplevelse av stress.

Denna uppsats består av en litteraturöversikt och två kvantitativa studier om män och transpersoner som säljer sexuella tjänster till andra män. Den första delen presenterar forskning om män som säljer sexuella tjänster till män i allmänhet och kring behovet av förebyggande åtgärder mot hiv och STI i synnerhet. Del två är en analys av män som säljer sexuella tjänster och deras inställning och praxis när det gäller säkrare sex. Analysen bygger på material från MSM (Män som har sex med män) enkäten som genomfördes 2006. Denna studie visar att män som säljer sex har betydligt högre risk-beteende än andra män som har sex med män. Detta visar på behovet av hiv-prevention i den grupp av män som säljer sexuella tjänster.

Övervikt och fetma hos barn är ett växande problem i många delar av världen och innebär ett stort hot mot folkhälsan. Syftet med studien är att beskriva faktorer som inverkar i förebyggandet av övervikt och fetma hos barn.En litteratursökning utfördes i databasen Cinahl. Dessa sökningar gav elva artiklar vilket resultatet har baserats på. Studien har en deskriptiv design.De faktorer som har en förebyggande inverkan rörande övervikt och fetma hos barn var empowerment, sociala aspekter, föräldrarnas roll, kosten, träning och skärmtid. Att ge barnen bekräftelse och den kunskap som behövdes för att kunna vara medbestämmande i sin vård var av stor betydelse.

Denna studies syfte var att undersöka hälsokoordinatorernas beredskap och upplevda kompetens att arbeta med alkoholriskbruk i primärvården i Landstinget i Kalmar Län och hur de upplevde arbetet. Metodansatsen som användes var triangulering, där enkäter skickades till alla hälsokoordinatorer i länet. Därefter utfördes semistrukturerade, kvalitativa intervjuer med tre strategiskt utvalda hälsokoordinatorer Det användes deskriptiv metod för enkäterna och innehållsanalys för intervjuerna. Resultatet var att arbetet med riskbruk av alkohol var ett känsligt område där hälsokoordinatorerna upplevde att de främsta hindrande faktorerna var brist på utbildning och instruktioner på hur det rent praktiskt skulle arbetas med riskbruk av alkohol. Utbildningsnivån stod inte i proportion till beredskapen att arbeta med frågan.

ABSTRACTThe aim of this study was to describe various methods of treatment and effects of treatment of ADHD, and to investigate wheater there is an association between adults with ADHD and obesity. Method:  Literature review. Twelve quantitative scientific articles were found in the data bases PubMed, Cinahl and MedLine.  Result: ADHD is a cognitive impairment that can lead to serious complications such as obesity. Studies show that drug treatments of adults with ADHD have positive effects in terms of reduced symptoms, increased efficiency and improved quality of life, but drugs can also cause side effects in form of loss of appetite and insomnia. For adults with ADHD and obesity drugs that affect metabolism have a significant impact on patients ability to lose weight.

Introduction: The complexity of the neonates? way of expressing pain is a difficulttask for the pediatric nurse. The Swedish national guidelines for prevention and treatmentof pain in the newborn infant is suggesting that departments regularly use structuredmethods, such as pain assessment instrument, for the assessment of pain in the neonatalperiod. Previous research shows that pain assessment instruments are only used in abouthalf of all pain assessments in Sweden. Neonate's cannot verbally communicate their pain,and are therefore dependent on the pediatric nurse to acknowledge the pain.
