The members of the OECD have agreed on giving aid assistance to developingcountries in a way of promoting their own capacity of handling the challengeof poverty and development. The members also cooperate and coordinate theiraid to recipient countries in the purpose of giving as effective assistance aspossible. The aid from these countries is often intended to human rights,democracy and has a humanitarian idea. This is the way from the OECDcountries. The Chinese way of giving aid mostly aimed at the industry of therecipient to promote the economic growth to lift the country out of poverty.The Chinese way do not aim or intend their aid at promoting human rights ordemocracy, often just industry and infrastructure.

Denna rapport går igenom processen av att skapa ett säljande koncept och förklarar hur man genom att ta ett steg ut ur en organisations trygghetszon kan locka nya besökare och intressenter. I det här examensarbetet har vi skapat ett marknadsförandekoncept för Studiefrämjandets ledarutbildningar. Uppdraget var att väcka ett större intresse kring utbildningarna och verktygen vi har använt oss av är digitala medier. Tillsammans med en kortfilm har vi skapat en prototyp till ett modulverktyg som i kombination med filmen fungerar som en inspirationsplats för ledarutbildningarna. Modulen som helhet har tre uppgifter; att inspirera, att motivera och att uppmana till handling.

Musikterapi har funnits genom hela vår historia. I detta arbete presenteras den Funktionsinriktade musikterapin, FMT, och mitt praktikarbete med två adepter (de som får terapi) under min utbildning till FMT-terapeut vid Musikhögskolan Ingesund. Syftet är att belysa FMT-metoden och den positiva kraft som metoden har.Det har resulterat i ett arbete om FMT-metodens kapacitet att motivera till rörelse som i sin tur leder till utveckling. Mina adepter har bland annat utvecklat sin andning, stabilitet, rörelseprecision, samverkan och modell/logik. Min slutsats är att all rörelse är en reaktion på ett intryck som blir till ett motiv, en vilja att utföra en rörelse.

With the climate change issues growing in importance on the social agenda, the field of urban masterplanning is of no exception when it comes to minimizing the carbon footprint in a variety of projects. The aim of this thesis has been to prepare the Carbon Critical Masterplanning tool, a software plugin for carbon dioxide emissions assessment developed by Atkins, to be used in Swedish conditions. The main targets were to improve the areas of the tool associated with energy conversion and renewable energy sources, and to test the tool in a real case. A planned construction of a new campus in Albano, Stockholm was chosen for the pilot study. A 3D model was built in the tool and the carbon footprint was calculated for a variety of combinations for energy supply to the future area. The results show that use of locally installed renewable energy sources can reduce the total climate impact when life cycle perspective is applied.

Detta arbete avhandlar ämnet om man ser till individen i matematikundervisningen. Vår erfarenhet säger oss att matematikundervisningen tenderar att vara enformig och att elever oftast arbetar i matematikboken. Som utgångspunkt studerar vi lärandeteorier. Därefter sammanställer vi resultaten från de elevenkäter och lärarintervjuer vi gjort. Undersökningen är gjord i årskurs ett, två, fyra och fem.

The purpose of the project has been to work out recommendations that reduce the energy-related costs and environmental impact of HPW Fresh & Dry Ltd., a fruit drying factory in Ghana. The factory produces electricity with diesel and biogas but also purchases electricity from the national electricity company. Heat for the drying process is produced from biogas, kerosene and solar panels. In the project the energy system was analyzed by measuring production and consumption of heat and electricity. The project results show that the factory can become self-sufficient on heat if the available energy is used more efficient. The production units for both electricity and heat have low efficiencies.

This bachelor thesis contains the findings of an investigation into the laying of wedge sawn wood flooring. The advantage of wedge sawn wood flooring is the usage of more material from each board reducing waste. The boards follow the natural profile of the tree where the root part of the board is wider, and the top part is narrower. The technique involves placing boards side by side with adjacent boards in opposite directions. The thick base of one board is neighbored by the narrow top of another, this creates a pattern of wedges in alternating directions, known as a ?root and top? system. Existing literature into this type of flooring is sparce.

This thesis will discuss teachers handling of the background, experience and earlier acquired knowledge of students. Our aim is to study the teachers? use of the cultural knowledge that of which the students already possess and the consideration the teachers have for the students own parental tongue. From this we want to see if there are any obstacles or pits with the work of gathering up experiences. The study is based on interviews with seven different teachers at a multi cultural elementary school in one the suburbs of Stockholm.

Stress is commonly found in society today. This paper aims to examine how work performance, cooperation and team spirit are maintained in demanding work environments. By studying two departments in a public hospital that practises addiction care, our findings suggest the following: If the experienced stress is mainly connected to challenge stressors, it has a positive effect on work performance. By organising work through mechanistic and organic structure, the handling of qualitative and quantitative stress is facilitated. As a consequence, first and foremost cooperation can be maintained, but also work performance and team spirit.

Teorier om kön och ledarskap framhåller att könsordningen, sociala och kulturellauppfattningar om kön samt stereotyper om manligt och kvinnligt försvårar förkvinnor att nå högre ledande befattningar. Genom samtalsintervjuer med fempersoner vilka är involverade i rekryteringen av förvaltningschefer i Helsingborgs,Lunds och Malmö kommun har vi undersökt vilka uppfattningar ochföreställningar som kan påverka rekrytering av förvaltningschefer ur ettkönsperspektiv. Vi har funnit att könsrelaterade värderingar och fenomen somhomosocial reproduktion har en inverkan på rekryteringar av förvaltningschefer ide tre undersökta kommunerna. Vi har dessutom funnit att kommunerna betonarreflektion och handlingskraft avseende köns- och jämställdhetsfrågor irekryteringsprocesserna i olika utsträckning. Att det är nödvändigt med en balansmellan reflektion och handling anser både vi och de befintliga teorierna är enförutsättning för att jämställdhet ska beaktas i rekryteringen..

Syftet med studien har varit att ta reda på hur Aftonbladet och Dagens nyheter bevakat och berättat om Lundsbergs skola under åren 2011-2013. Frågorna som ställts har handlat om hur medierna berättat om Lundsbergs skola. Handling, karaktärer, skrivsätt samt skillnader och likheter i Aftonbladet och Dagens nyheters rapportering, har varit frågornas centrala punkt. Jag har i studien valt att se Lundsbergs skola som ett fall av skandaler eller så kallade ?mediedrev? i Sverige.

Många teorier utgår från att det går att åtskilja inre och yttre motivation, då den inre förklarar drivkrafter och behov som leder till handling, och den yttre beskriver hur omständigheter som belöningar och respons påverkar motivationen. Våra intervjuer har påvisat att uppdelningen mellan inre och yttre inte lämpar sig inom restaurangbranschen, då den ena skapar förutsättningar för den andra. De problem som inleder uppsatsen har fått en ny betydelse, då vi fått insikt att problemen istället är faktorer som hjälper branschen framåt genom motiverad personal. Det är därför högst relevant att ledare är väl insatta i vad det är som driver dess serveringspersonal, för att sedan med hjälp av yttre motivation ytterligare stimulera och utveckla och därav skapa en motiverad personalstyrka för att arbeta enligt restaurangens intresse..

Den här uppsatsen syftar till att undersöka hur genus framställs i böckerna om Svarta Hingsten. Detta är baserat på Michael Kimmels teorier om maskulinitet och Judith Butlers teorier kring genus som performativ handling . Genom att använda mig av dessa teorier hoppas jag kunna urskilja hur genus förmedlas utifrån det urval av böckerna jag använder mig av. Fokus ligger främst på hur det maskulina genuset framställs då huvudkaraktärerna är maskulina och femininitet i princip inte är aktuellt annat än som en kontrast mot det maskulina. Genom att lägga fokus på fyra teman som återkommer i alla texterna har jag försökt analysera framställningen av genus..

VSEM project and the need for a more efficient way of handling requirements andinformation are highly apparent.The overall objective of this thesis is divided into two parts:1. To identify criteria/factors leading to a successful introduction of an informationmanagement system.2. To develop an implementation process for a requirement management system ?the first step towards a PLM system in EE development at VCC.This will be done through interviews with employees, a literature review and an analysisof studies of three earlier projects within VCC.The conclusion of this study shows the great need for change in work methods fordesigners handling information and requirements. An implementation process has beenidentified with guidelines on how to handle different phases of the process.
