Internet är en del av vardagslivet och har fått ett stort inflytande på hur människor idag lever sina liv. E-handeln är en del av helheten som bidragit till förändringar i konsumenternas beteende; hur de handlar och söker information. Företagen utformar sin strategi utefter detta för att kunna hantera olika moment i köpprocessen. Resultatet av ovan nämnda förändringar är tillkomsten av nya tjänster samt förändringar i användningen av sociala medier och andra marknadsföringskanaler, både från kunders- och företags perspektiv.Sociala medier används idag i stor utsträckning och företag försöker marknadsföra sig genom dessa kanaler för att nå sina befintliga och potentiella kunder. Den typen av marknadsföring uppskattas inte alltid av alla kunder och ställer då krav på företagen att de använder sig av de sociala medierna på ett gynnande vis för alla parter.

Datalagret har utvecklats till ett beslutsstödjande system som hjälper slutanvändarna att analysera data med hjälp av olika typer av verktyg med användarvänliga gränssnitt.I rapporten undersöks hur datalager används av företag i deras verksamhet. Som underlag för rapporten har fem företag studerats. Bland företagen som ingick i undersökningen blev svaret att de använde sina datalager främst till att ta fram statistik och genomföra uppföljningar.

Istället för att få standardutseendet på sina D-uppsatser ville en avgångsklass på en Mediedesignutbildning göra en bok där de samlade sina uppsatser. Denna bok fick en ny form som arbetades fram i den här uppsatsen. Huvudfokus låg på läsbarhet och frågor om estetiken i typsnitt och layout samt om det var möjligt att behålla seriositeten samtidigt som den känns kreativ och modern. 18 personer var med i försöksgruppen som bland annat fick rangordna de tre typsnitten Times, Sabon och Verdana för det aktuella ändamålet. Sammantaget var Sabon det typsnitt som visade sig vara mest lämpligt för en publikation av det här slaget.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how the Viking age is described in textbooks and teaching aids in the countries Sweden and Great Britain. The examination is done through a text analysis, specifically called textbook or teaching aid analysis, where the content of the teaching aid is examined.                      A literature survey with thoughts and statements regarding the Viking age of writers and experts, from both countries, are included.                       This examine is also to answer the question whether the teaching aids are typical or infrequent in relation to each other inside the explicit country, but also between the countries.   The result shows that the teaching aids in the main are typical in relation to each other. Some differences do exist and shows themselves in the choices of dispositions and layout, also in a few numbers of cases in the content. .

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to examine how femininity, Silikon, Vecko Revyn, and Darling. The study is made from a critical discourse analytical approach and text, pictures, and layout are all analysed. Some of the main characteristics of the material are the division in the categories"we"and"them", double messages, and personal address to the reader. Femininity is strongly associated with body, sexuality, beauty, and looks.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how e-commerce companies work with their relationships to customers. We have conducted a case study of two companies, Koll and Webbshoppen, both active in the e-commerce industry. Our empirical study has shown that it is important for e-commerce companies to create long-term relationships to their customers, but it can be difficult to create these relationships since the companies have little contact to the users of Internet. To build relationships, e-commerce companies market themselves through different types of media to create awareness. It is also essential to be situated high in search engines.

A variety of demands have to be considered in the design of a new opera house in Galärvarvet. All possible viewpoints are important to be aware of, as is the need for the new building to be a contrast to the already existing opera house in Stockholm. The restricted site also makes a multitude of demands on the building's design.By rationalizing the layout and structure and also by making the footprint smaller, the complex building of over 30 000 square meters can be fitted and blended into the existing physical context. Unlike the existing opera house in Stockholm, the new opera house shows the rationality and the advanced technology that lies behind the scenes and becomes the character of the entire building. Through the dynamic façade, the new opera can convey any character it so desires, just like scenes do through different settings.

Inkorporering av extern data i datalager är problematiskt och problematiken bekräftas av aktuella undersökningar inom området. Detta har medfört att det utvecklats olika former av stöd för att bemöta och analysera problemen som organisationer ställs inför.För organisationer är det i högsta grad viktigt att dess beslutsfattare är välinformerade och klarar av att selektera information från stora mängder data. Det är i dessa sammanhang som en datalagerlösning är en viktig hörnsten för att stödja analys och presentation av data som ursprungligen är lagrad i olika datakällor (både interna och externa). Genom att inkorporera extern data i datalagret uppnår datalagret en betydligt högre potential och således kan även organisationer och framförallt dess beslutsfattare utvinna stora fördelar.Strand (2005) har tagit fram riktlinjer för att stödja inkorporeringsprocessen av extern data i datalager. Dock saknas en utvärdering av riktlinjerna.

Det här arbetet redogör för hur jag går tillväga för att skapa ett koncept med informationstexter om styrketräning. Texterna informerar om hur vanliga friviktsövningar ska utföras på ett korrekt sätt och placeras direkt i gymlokalen. Som fall används gymmet Parsa Power i Uppsala. Uppdragsgivarna där är Omid Parsa, grundare, och Ulrica Lindkvist, delägare. För att ta fram konceptet undersöktes bland annat vad som fångar målgruppens uppmärksamhet i en miljö med många distraktioner och vilket tilltal som bör användas.

Den här rapporten behandlar den bok som jag gjort som examensarbete, rapporten finns till för att förklara min arbetsgång under projektet och för att sätta boken i ett sammanhang. Syftet var att uppslagen i boken skulle upplevas som luftiga och tilltalande. Jag ville undersöka hur man gör en stilren bok med snygga bilder samtidigt som den är informativ och lättillgänglig för läsaren. Under genomförandet av boken har jag lagt stor vikt på innehåll, layout och foto. De tre delarna skulle hänga ihop på ett bra sätt för att göra boken så tydlig som möjligt utan att bli fullproppad med text och bild.

The company had an idea aboutproviding one of their active RFID tags with a GPS receiver and transmit positions viaan existing RFID protocol. Desire from the company was also the possibility to logpositions and measure temperature. The finished prototype should also be able to beactivated by movement. The company had proposal about components that were to beused in the project.

The IT industry is constantly evolving and it's more or less a requirement today for web developers to be familiar with and to be able to develop for all platforms. A technique that has taken hold and is now widely used is responsive design. Developing responsive design means adapting the layout to the viewing environment; the screen size. Another useful method when developing for different devices is the mobile first theory, which means developing for the mobile screen first. This is done to scale down the site and to clear unnecessary information in order to provide a better user experience.

This report present the design and manufacturing of a wide-band driver amplifier placed in radar module for airborne applications. The major goals for the amplifier were a high efficiency and to deliver a predefined output power. To reach the second goal an additional preamplifier had to be constructed. The amplifiers were constructed in three steps: Design and Layout in the software Microwave Office, Mounting components and Verification. The driver amplifier was decided to be a push pull configuration consisting of two parallel transistors biased in class AB.

The purpose of this thesis was to create a saw pattern program for the sawmill industry. I have chosen to focus on the module that describes the shrinking on the wood. There are several theories about how the wood deforms by shrinking. Several hypotheses were simulated in the program and after testing them I decided to use only one of them (hypothesis C). The program is written in Visual Basic .NET and I choused that program language because it is easy to do changes in the layout. Another great advantage in Visual .Net is that you can mix different languages in the same program.

This degree project has been carried out in cooperation with Enertech AB in Ljungby and is pilot study to automating all current manual soldering. The soldering process accounts for a large part of the processing cost in the production of a heat pump. The process is also a quality risk and has a major impact on the lifetime of the final product.The Main task of this project has been to evaluate automation of the soldering process, to develop automation solutions and a principle layout, to draw the design changes required for the automation and to calculate the supposed solution.This pilot study has resulted in a suggested automation solution using laser as a heat source for soldering. Calculations of the solution show that a automating a laser soldering cell is very profitable..
