This is a technical report about cement stabilization in general and the stabilizationprocess during the construction of a warehouse in Halmstad, Sweden in particular and iswritten at the section for economy and technology at Halmstad University incollaboration with NCC Anläggning.NCC encountered variations in compression strength in the stabilized material on the firstwarehouse that they constructed for the company Biltema. In our report we used thestabilization process of the second warehouse for the same company as a reference todetermine what could be done to get a more homogeneous result for future projects.We also looked in to what testing method is the most suitable to determine the result ofthe stabilization.After interviews with people involved in the process and visits on the work site we havecome to the conclusion that the most probable cause to the variations in compressionstrength is segregation in the ballast material. This segregation can occur in severaldifferent occasions in the process such as during the production, transportation andhandling on the work site.Other causes for the variation can be improper compaction, overlapping stabilization insome places and different duration of hardening of the samples that are tested.The best way to do in situ test of the stabilized material is to do seismic investigations asthose are non-destructive tests in comparison to taking core samples and you can discoverany cracks or air bubbles in the material..

The purpose of this study was to investigate the association between physical activity and perceived stress, energy and musculoskeletal disorders among office-workers and warehouse-workers and also to see if there were any differences depending on work-place and gender. The method that was used to collect data was three different validated questionnaires that measured stress and energy (the Stress-Energy questionnaire), musculoskeletal disorders (intensity and localization of pain, a Pain Drawing questionnaire with a VAS-scale) and physical activity (IPAQ ? the short version). Eighty-eight workers participated in the study. Forty-seven of them were office-workers and forty-one were warehouse-workers.

Syftet med vårt arbete har varit, att utröna vilka problem som kan uppstå för slutanvändare av datalager. Vi har även frågat oss vad dessa problem kan bero på. För att uppnå detta, har vi först gjort en litteraturstudie och sedan genomfört intervjuer med slutanvändare och IT-tekniker på fyra olika företag runtom i Sverige. Undersökningen har visat, att det finns en hel del problem förknippade med användning av datalager och att man också kan se några framträdande sådana, såsom exempelvis långa svarstider vid sökningar. De problem som visat sig är dock av sådan karaktär, att de vida övervägs av de fördelar ett datalager ger åt företag.

Data warehouse system är något som har växt fram under 1990-talet och det har implementeras hos flera verksamheter. De källsystem som en verksamhet har kan integreras ihop med ett data warehouse system för att skapa en version av verkligheten och ta fram rapporter för beslutsunderlag. Med en version av verkligheten menas att det skapas en gemensam bild som visar hur verksamhetens dagliga arbete sker och utgör grundinformation för de framtagna analyserna från data warehouse systemet. Det blir därför väsenligt för verksamheten att de framtagna rapporterna håller en, enligt verksamheten, tillfredställande god datakvalitet. Detta leder till att datakvaliteten hos data warehouse systemet behöver hålla en tillräckligt hög kvalitetsnivå.

Purpose ? The purpose with this thesis is to examine how items can be distributed between stores inventory and an external warehouse. To achieve the purpose criteria that should be considered, how these can be prioritized and used when distributing items between stores inventory and an external warehouse will be examined.Method ? The study started by an examination of the theory that already exists within the subject. The already existing theory has then been examined in reality, on the furniture company IKEA Jönköping, where a case study with one channel has been performed.

Som stöd för vår analys jämförde vi befintliga teorier inom områdena information samt data warehouse, med tillämpning i verkligheten genom vårt referensföretag. Undersökningen har utförts genom skriftliga intervjuer samt enkäter, där två olika undersökningsgrupper ingått. Den ena gruppen har utgjorts av SALSAs utvecklare och den andra av SALSAs användare. Arbetet beskriver ett systemutvecklingsarbete som innehåller kravfångst, analys och design av en data warehouse/business intelligencelösning till Svenska bordtennisförbundet. Svenska bordtennisförbundet/SBTF/ behöver utöka sitt beslutsunderlag för att kunna fatta strategiska beslut. SBTF behöver även få bättre kontroll på sin verksamhet för att kunna sätta, utvärdera och följa upp mål. SBTF önskar lösa detta genom att skapa ett data warehouse till vilket data från de olika systemen laddas för att därefter kunna presenteras för användarna genom business intelligence. I kravspecifikationen framkom att klubbarnas medlemsregister, alla tävlingsspelare, all träningsstatistik och de matcher som spelats i Sverige sedan 2011 var det dataunderlag som skulle ingå i ett data warehouse.
