Organisationskommunikation har under de senaste decennierna påverkats av olika samhälleliga förändringar. Störst påverkan har möjligheten att kommunicera via digitala medier haft. Många förutspådde att dessa digitala medier, såsom intranät, skulle leda till bortfallet av mer traditionella pappers-kanaler, exempelvis personaltidningar, som länge använts för intern kommunikation. Detta har emellertid inte inträffat vilket tyder på att papperskanalerna bidrar med något de digitala medierna inte kan. Dessa resonemang formade en fråga om vilka medium som bör användas för att organisationer ska nå sina medarbetare med information.Det sätts alltså en stor tilltro till att de digitala medierna kommer styra en allt större del av den interna kommunikationen i framtiden.

Syfte och frågeställning: Uppsatsen undersöker vad de som går sitt första år på Högskolan i Halmstad (HH) (www.hh.se) tycker om högskolans hemsida. Förutom detta undersöks deras användning och behov av hemsidan, vilket kan vara intressant för utvecklare eftersom det skapar djupare förståelse för studenters åsikter. Utvecklare kan genom vår uppsats få kunskap om nödvändiga förändringar för en mer användarvänlig hemsida. Föreliggande uppsats koncentrerar sig alltså på att generera djupare förståelse om varför studenterna exempelvis tycker något är dåligt eller bra. Metod och material: Vi valde att genomföra sex kvalitativa intervjuer i form av fokusgrupper där respondenterna berättade om sina behov samt visade oss hur de tar sig till olika platser på hemsidan. Därefter uttryckte de åsikter om vad de tyckte om processen och om hemsidan överlag.

Internet and information technology today has a rather obvious role in the activities of companies and organizations. All cash transactions within and between companies is digitized, communication within the company is done via e-mail, sales and marketing is done largely with marketing and ads on the Internet. This has resulted in economic benefits for companies and organizations, and facilitated the work for them. However, this has also led to new threats have emerged. Companies and organizations is well aware that there are numerous threats that comes with using the Internet and Information Technologies but exactly what those threats are for a mid-sized company in Sweden is not clarified anywhere.

The purpose of our study is to see how the interaction between the social services and police work when a child under 15 years is suspected of crimes.What happens to the child from an agency perspective? How is the experience for the child and how do they get their voices heard? How is the professional perspective for a child when a child is suspected of a crime? What do the various authorities for short-term and long-term measures for the child?We have chosen to do a qualitative study using semi-structured interviews. The study includes six interviews with two police officers, three field secretaries and a social worker in two different municipalities. A medium sized municipality, and a larger community.The people we interviewed think differently about collaboration. The municipality have different workforms.

Syftet med detta arbete är att hela tiden ha ett barnperspektiv och på så sätt ta reda på hur barn med diagnosen autism kan tänka om och uppleva sin undervisningssituation. För att vidga perspektivet undersöker vi hur lärare och assistenter beskriver inlärningssituationen för de barn som är med i vår undersökning.Litteraturavsnittet ger en översikt av tidigare forskning om autism och vilka svårigheter och möjligheter som diagnosen autism kan innebära för barn i skolan. Vidare beskriver vi olika pedagogiska metoder och strategier som lärare kan använda.Genom en studie i form av intervjuer och observationer tar vi reda på vilka tankar barn med autism har om sin inlärningssituation. De teoretiska utgångspunkterna i denna studie baseras på det sociokulturella perspektivet, det salutogena perspektivet och det variationsteoretiska perspektivet.Sammanfattningsvis pekar resultaten av våra undersökningar på att barn med autism kan berätta om sin inlärningssituation i skolan. De beskriver vad de har lätt för, vad de har svårt för och vilken hjälp de behöver av lärare och assistenter.

The purposeof this survey is to study both teachers and students view regarding theevaluation and grading in the subject Physical Education A. In order to meetthe purpose, the survey is executed by focusing on three main researchquestions: What is the teachers and students notion of the goals of the subjectand the course plan? Which knowledge is evaluated in the subject, according toteachers and students? Which factors, believe teachers and students, affect theevaluation? The results of the survey is established by qualitative interviewsthat has been conducted with four teachers and five students in two schoolslocated in a medium ? sized city in the south east of Sweden.The resultsof the survey indicate that not only teachers, but also students consider thecourse plan and the grading criterias is relatively unclear and interpretablein a lot of different ways. Teachers and students also states the theoreticaland practical moments are equally important when evaluating. Further, theystate that knowledge in ergonomics, exercises theory, diets, swimming andleadership skills are important knowledge in the subject.

MS, multipel skleros, är en neurologisk sjukdom som kan leda till kommunikationsrelaterade problem. Personer med MS kan därför tänkas vara i behov av olika former av kommunikationshjälpmedel. Samtalsmatta är ett visuellt och bildbaserat kommunikationshjälpmedel som avser att underlätta för personer att visa åsikter och göra val. Syftet med denna studie är att utreda samtalsmattans effekt på kommunikation med personer med MS. Frågeställningarna rör huruvida samtalseffektiviteten påverkas av samtalsmattan, vilka för- och nackdelar samtalsmattan kan ha jämfört med verbal kommunikation och hur deltagarna uppfattar användandet av samtalsmattan. För att utreda detta har en kvalitativ metod använts.

Jag har alltid haft ett intresse för att förstå olika aspekter inom religion och andlighet. Under senare år har jag även utvecklat ett intresse för att förstå så kallade ockulta fenomen. Denna uppsats tar sin utgångspunkt i TV4?s program Det Okända, 2009. Valet av programmet Det Okända blev ett naturligt val för mig då jag tidigare följt programmet under några säsonger i syfte att ta del av det utbud av ockultism som finns i massmedia, för att bredda min kunskap inom ämnet ur det perspektiv som ges i media.

Foreign invested SMEs have recently become increasingly interested in China. The enterprises are in this report categorized as second wave companies since they follow the footsteps of previous pioneers, of which mostly were larger companies. The ambitions of the SMEs are either to sell products on the ever expanding Chinese market or to utilize the potential of low cost production for global markets. The existing literature is fragmented and solely based on the experience of larger companies. We believe that SMEs are facing new and different challenges, and thus a new generic theoretical frame work is desirable.

This thesis aims to identify bottlenecks in the internal communication of aSwedish public library. Specifically, it addresses the behaviour of the library staff when they seekfor work-oriented information through interaction with their colleagues. A fundamental assumptionof this study is that the information-seeking process depends on organisational culture. I have madean exploratory case study in a medium-sized Swedish public library, where relevant issues areidentified and correlated with the culture of the organisation.I have used Schein's three-level model to describe the culture of the library; this model definesculture as a set of basic assumptions and the actions of people as expressions of their culture. Datafor the study were gathered using several approaches, including interviews with the library staff andobservations of them.

Textbooks are a very influential medium considering the fact that they often introduce students to information they have never read or heard about before, and as such they become very important in forming students? opinions on different matters. In this study I have taken a closer look at five textbooks in history that are currently being used in the Swedish upper secondary school. My aim has been to find out how East Asia is pictured and also how much space East Asian history is given in these textbooks with the postcolonial theory as theoretical basis. My study shows that East Asia is given very little space compared to Europe in these books, with an average of less than a twentieth of the number of pages that deal with European history.

All kommunikation, inklusive den politiska, förändras i och med de sociala mediernas framväxt. De erbjuder alternativa kommunikationsvägar till traditionella massmedier och torgmöten. I denna uppsats har de två svenska politikerna Veronica Palms (S) och Filippa Reinfeldts (M) relationsskapande via det visuella sociala mediet Instagram granskats. Utifrån teorier kring mediernas logik, medialisering, privat och offentligt, det växande förtroendet kring att bilder visar verkligheten samt visuell kommunikation har politikernas bildflöden analyserats utifrån kritisk diskursanalys (CDA) och semiotik.  Deras två bildflöden skiljer sig delvis åt då Palm tar större delen av bilderna som publiceras själv, ofta närbilder på saker i sin omgivning, medan Reinfeldt istället låter sig bli fotograferad i halvbild.

AbstractThis essay investigates what knowledge members of staff in day care centres for grown up people with disabilities have about Alternative and Augmentative Communication, AAC (in Swedish, Alterantiv och Kompletterande Kommunikation, AKK). Day care centres are working places for people with disabilities who do not have the possibility, caused of their disability, to work in ordinary works in the open market.To communicate with other people is a human right for all people even if you have a disability, even if you don?t have a spoken language or if you, because of your disability, have difficulties to understand a spoken language. When you don?t have a spoken language you need different ways to be able to communicate, make choices and take part in activities in the community.

This essay aims to find out what impact social media have on the daily lives of Swedish people in regard to their usage and sociability. In order to find that out we have performed four group interviews with a total of 16 people from two different age categories that were later compared. To analyze the empirical data we?ve used the theories on the Network Societies by Jan Van Dijk as a help of understanding. The results show that social media have become an integrated part in the lives of our informants and that a consdierable amount of time is spent on them everyday. In the younger group Facebook was considered the most useful medium as it makes the planning of events easier and can be used as a way of keeping oneself updated on news as well as on the lives of others.
