This paper examines interpellations made in the swedish Riksdag and how they are rhetorically structured to effect and hold government officials accountable in climate policy.?The analysis methodology applied is rhetorical analysis, which aims to identify rhetorical argumentative strategies in the opposition's interpellations between three different periods, 2015-2018, 2019-2022 and 2022-2025. These strategies are ethos, pathos and logos, they are used as glasses in which a rhetorical analysis is conducted on the material. The study reveals that the rhetorical strategies differ between the time periods and that the political rhetoric has become more value loaded over time.? .

Examensarbetet som är utfört för SAS Flight Academy innebär att modernisera hanteringen av flygradiostationer för en flygsimulator från 1968. Detta görs med hjälp en PC som kopplas till det nuvarande datorsystemet med ett parallellkort. I PC:n finns en Microsoft Access databas där all data lagras om världens alla flygradiostationer. Informationen om flygradiostationerna finns lagrade på en CD-ROM som uppdateras ett antal gånger per år. Klienten till databasen är programmerad i Visual C++ och använder Microsofts programbibliotek MFC för hantering av databasen. Klienten har två uppgifter dels sköta hanteringen och dels uppdateringar av databasen.

Automatic query expansion has long been studied in information retrieval research as a technique that deals with the fundamental issue of word mismatch between query and document. The purpose of this thesis is to compare the retrieval effectiveness of different strategies for automatic query expansion. The strategies are based on local analysis of the corpus and use statistical information from the local document set to extract terms that suppose to adapt themselves to each individual search and therefore appear to be searchonyms to the index terms. The strategies compared are: association clusters, metric cluster and scalar cluster. Baseline queries of 24 topics are expanded using terms from the different clusters and searches are made.

This work describes a series of glasses, both for people withvisual handicap, and the glasses are not only limited for use onlyby people with poor sight.I have, based on the course Senses, done research and lookedinto how to design glasses for visual handicapped people interms of function, look and expression.I have elaborated with several different glasses and performedmany experiments to come up with my final result, consisting ofa series of glasses.The glasses in the series are made with a weight on one side, onestep on the bottom to get the possibility for the glass to tilt over,which enables you to both hear and see when you have reach acertain amount of substance in the glass.It has also been important for me that the glasses express somethingand get an individual identity.The result became glasses for whiskey, coffee, shots and mullwine..

In this study the reliability of dominance profiles as a method of establishing a person's learning style was tested. Eight students at Malmö Academy of Music tried three different ways to learn a short melody at the piano. In this way, their preferred way of learning things (either visual, auditive or kinestetic) was established. Five of the students did best when they used a visual cue to learn a melody, and the remaining three did best when auditive cues were used. All but one of the students had the worst result in the kinestetic trial.

The aim is to discuss the nature of reference work ? do librarians make conscious decisions regarding search strategies or do they rely principally on their instincts, or simply chance. The thesis is a qualitative study.

The purpose of this study was to gain a better understanding of how medium-sized construction companies adapt and how they choose to reorganize their operations in relation to the recession. The study has as its theoretical starting point theories about organizational learning, the impact of the economy on construction companies and strategies for dealing with recessions. The method used to conduct the study was semi-structured interviews with representatives from 15 different construction companies. The results of the study show that they used several strategies to adapt and reorganize the business in accordance with the recession. Some construction companies had to make cost savings as a result of the recession.

The method for marking up timber is by eyesight, where visual judgment and the use of a broad axe are the tools employed. The broad axe is driven through the bark and exposes the inner bark in a straight line. The method is described by a craftsperson dating back to the 1930s. A film can attract all kinds of emotions and moods of the audience through its audiovisual communications and cinematic expression, in which music plays a significant role in both understanding and interpretation of film content.It is interesting to explore the musical significance and the emotional aspect of the film out of a media and communications perspective and visual communications perspective because it?s a subject that belongs to the communications of scientific discipline as film is a media text which is working both as communicative and as audio-visual medium with its expressive aspects.The purpose of this bachelor?s paper is to increase and deepen the understanding of music's function and significant role in context with its reinforcing sense of visual expression in film. More specifically, it aims to explore the musical value of the expressive aspect of the media text in form of film musical Les Misérables (2012), which has been transmedialised from the novel of the same name, referring to the sound, music and song in relation to the film's visual expression.The research questions are at the core of the essay study: "how is music used to reinforce the cinematic visual expression?" and "how can music signify the narrative and highlight the emotional aspect of the film?" The theoretical framework is based on some of the key scholars assumptions such as Michel Chion (1994) and Claudia Gorbman (1987), who share the same theoretical views that the soundtrack seems powerful when it expresses its participation in a scene?s emotional moods as the music follows the scene?s rhythm, the image?s flow and contributes emotional and musical codes of emotions and expressions. According to Chion sound and image interact together to tell a story where sound enrich the image with expressive and informative values.
