Westermo Teleindustri tillverkar och säljer telefonmodem för industritillämpningar och ska erbjuda ett konfigureringsverktyg till dessa. Verktyget ska konfigurera Westermos modem med Hayes AT-kommandon genom ett PC program som ska vara enkelt att använda så att deras supportavdelning blir avlastad från en del konfigureringssupport. Min uppgift i detta examensarbete var att ta fram en kravspecifikation och implementera en lösning utifrån denna. Kravspecifikation togs fram genom att skicka ut förfrågningar om önskemål till dotterbolag, distributörer och andra som har nära kontakt med slutkunderna. I kravspecifikationen beskrivs vilken funktionalitet programvaran skall innehålla.

This was achieved by creating an Android applicationwhich, along with a running server, continuously presents the user with all the currentneeded information. I detta arbete har jag undersökt hur man kan stämma trumsetets trummor på olika sätt, med störst vikt på pukornas tonalitet. Jag har undersökt, genom inspelningstester, vad det är som avgör om trummorna blir välljudande i olika musikaliska sammanhang. Jag har genomfört inspelningstester i studio, som representerar de olika typer avstämningssätt och undersökt dessa i fyra olika genrer. De olika stämningssätten har i sintur varierande toner, intervallförhållanden och resonanstider (den tid det tar för trumman att ringa klart). Detta för att kunna jämföra de olika stämningssätten.

This report is a hermeneutic analytical study of a practical pedagogical situation. For three occasions I observed my own practice as a dance teacher and how a moment, choreographic approach in the governing documents for upper secondary school GY11 was executed in a group of dance students. The part is formulated in the course objectives for the courses on the arts program under the topic Dansgestaltning with focus on choreographic approach. The study is based on a socio-cultural thinking but also takes into account the prevailing gender theories and focuses on how the process of formulation level, through the transformation level is portrayed in the realization level of the dance regarding choreographic approach. The study illustrates educational research from both a dance perspective and a school development perspective.

AbstractObjectivePatients with Parkinson?s disease often have symptoms of dysphagia. These swallowingproblems have consequences for quality of life as well for the physical wellbeing of thepatients. AimThe aim of this study was to describe and correlate Swallowing Quality of Life (SWAL-QOL)scores, self-assessment of swallowing function using a visual analogue scale and the resultsfrom a fiber endoscopic evaluation of swallowing function in patients who had been selectedfor Deep Brain Stimulation in caudal zona incerta. A secondary aim was to correlate diseaseduration with results from SWAL-QOL and the fiber endoscopic evaluation of swallowingfunction.MethodTen male Parkinson?s patients (age 45-69 yrs, median 61.5 yrs) who were selected for DeepBrain Stimulation completing the Swallowing Quality of life form, as well as rating theirswallowing function using a visual analogue scale and undergoing a fiber endoscopicevaluation of their swallowing function.    ResultsThe median total SWAL-QOL score was 94% while the mean was 91%.

In this paper Mona Hatoums installation Corps étranger is discussed via a post structuralized method based on associative and semiotic comparisons with vanitas, a post-modern self-portrait, and as a representative for modern visual art. The analyze touches upon pornography, science fiction and the quest for scientific conquest in outer and inner space. Theoretical references are Foucault, Freud, Lacan, Barthes, Dolar, Said and Virilio. Hatoum makes the observer a voyageur with the aid of the latest medical technology, endoscope, which gives her the opportunity to make an introvert self-portrait when she films her own throat and rectum. But at the same time she makes the portrait of us all.

The primary intention of this paper was to visually compare film trailers without considering semantic information, through use of a self-developed Matlab program, resembling that of human perception. Circa 150 people participated in an online survey where they were shown two film trailers and asked to rate their visual similarities. The result from the program was weighted against the survey results in such a way that the weights corresponded to a 75% accuracy between the program?s and the participant?s (for participants with prior experience in the field of photography and/or film) comparisons.How accurate can we compare still images from film trailers, and find similar trailers for the human viewer, by analyzing saturation, color tone, contrast and lightness with a self-developed Matlab program..

Denna rapport beskriver ett examensarbete inom Programmet för Användarinriktad Systemutveckling vid Linköpings universitet, Campus Norrköping. Resultatet är en databasapplikation som är utvecklad specifikt för C.N.S. Systems AB i Linköping. I uppgiften ingår analys, utformning, realisering, implementering, dokumentation samt i viss mån även förvaltning och drift. Utvecklingsarbetet har skett i nära samarbete med företaget som har tillhandhållit arbetsplatser och datorutrustning.

Vilka sporter förekommer i sändningarna, hur kategoriseras dem samt hur ser fördelningen av män och kvinnor ut? Berghs Företagshotell i Ockelbo hyr bland annat ut övernattningsrum och lägenheter likt ett vandrarhem. Problemet är att de använder sig av ett enkelt ?excel-ark? och enstaka ?post-it? lappar för att hålla koll på sina bokningar och är i behov av ett bättre system. Ägaren har länge funderat på att ordna detta själv då han har gott om databas- och programmeringskunskaper, men precis som alla andra småföretagare har han tyvärr för lite tid. Av den anledningen tyckte vi att detta skulle vara ett perfekt examensarbete för oss.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att kartlägga hur kriminaljournalistiken har förändrats de senaste 25 åren. Vi har gjort en kvantitativ innehållsanalys av brottsartiklar i Dagens Nyheter, Aftonbladet, Sundsvalls Tidning och Arbetarbladet. Underlaget är taget från två veckor i september 1987 och 2012. Texterna har vi kodat utifrån ett kodschema med variabler gällande bland annat kön, brottstyp, gestaltning, källanvändning, offer och misstänkt. Vi har sedan korskört vissa variabler för att jämföra hur de såg 1987 mot 2012.Vi kom fram till att andelen kvinnliga textförfattare gick från att vara i minoritet till majoritet mellan 1987 och 2012.

This reportcommunicates the processes and results of my degree work in industrial design at candidate level at Umeå Institute of Design.During my degree work I had a cooperation with Svenska Jägareförbundet (Swedish Hunters Assosiation).The aim for my project has been to explore how I could make hunting a safer hobby and undertaking. Every year people get seriously injured and in average 2 people a year dies  due to hunting accidents. My goal is to identify problems within the hunters communication and approach. Through a creative design process I will find a valid  nd realistic solution to these problems. My project will be presented as a conceptual solution  hat will be based on currently existing technology.

Det finns inget enkelt sätt att beskriva bra akustik i konsertsalar. Bra akustik är ett multidimensionellt fenomen där lyssnarens upplevelse är avgörande. På senare år har många nya parametrar för att beskriva akustiken i konsertsalar introducerats. Syftet med dessa parametrar är att finna objektiva mätetal som indikerar hur akustiken i salen kommer att upplevas. För att kunna finna kopplingar mellan objektiva och subjektiva storheter är det viktigt att objektiv mätdata inhämtas och presenteras på rätt sätt.
