The technical achievements that have occurred in recent years have led to a greater use of the Internet around the world. Today, more and more people are using virtual communities, a place where communication occurs with people who have similar interest. Due to the option of being an anonymous user, the concept of trust plays a big part in how virtual communities are working. It is therefore of interest to investigate how trust develops between users in virtual communities. This report asks the following question:"How is trust formed between users at a virtual community?"A qualitative and netnographical study was conducted to answer the question above.

En innergård i staden; ett andrum, en plats för eftertanke, en frodig oas, en upplevelse som väcker sinnena, en plats för möten och evenemang. Går det att skapa en sådan, och på endast 200 m2? Det var denna fråga som jag ställde mig när jag först började arbeta med examensarbetet ?En Kyrkoträdgård i Staden?. Och visst går det, men ibland så måste man kompromissa, hitta på egna lösningar eller åtgärda oförberedda problem och svårigheter. Examensarbetet handlar om de val och ställningstaganden som jag gjort under det pågående arbetet med att formge en innergård med temat ?Sinnenas Trädgård? åt S:t Petri församling i Malmö.

Under de senaste 200 åren har försvarsmakten varit ständigt närvarande i Karlsborg. Med utgångspunkt i begreppet makt har jag undersökt hur kommunen och företagarna i Karlsborg upplever denna militära närvaro samt hur de hanterar den. Genom att utgå från maktens tre ansikten har jag redogjort för hur Karlsborgsborna uppfattar makten. Jag har visat hur de anpassat och assimilerat sig efter de rådande förutsättningarna samt hur den otrygga situation de befinner sig i har påverkat kommunens företagande. Jag har även redogjort för de möjligheter och begränsningar som försvarsmaktens verksamhet medför till kommunen. Information har samlats in med intervjuer som metodverktyg.

This paper aims to examine how and to what extent, a transition of Sweden according to the principles of Omställning Sverige (Transition towns Sweden), have the potential to contribute to a society with increased happiness.The paper is based on a qualitative textual analysis of the key texts in the Swedish Transition towns movement, Omställning Sverige. In the first part of the study the most important transition principles of Omställning Sverige were identified. Four key principles emerged: An altered view of economics, a spiritual change, a stronger local community and increased awareness. These transition principles were then analyzed through the lens of the scientific fields position on happiness, followed by a summarizing conclusion.The altered view of economics which Omställning Sverige advocates, where sustainability and quality of life are priorities over economic growth, is even necessary to secure our basic physiological needs. Such an economy has also improved conditions for economic stability, high employment and higher efficiency in the sense of happiness promoted in relationship to how many natural resources are used.

Sociala nätverk, eller så kallade communityn är ett fenomen som fått större betydelse idag och snabbt spridit sig runt om i världen. Communityn Facebook har blivit känd för att den samlar många användare och har en god målgruppskännedom, vilket gör Facebook till en attraktiv marknadsföringsplats som har uppmärksammats av en rad olika företag och organisationer.Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka vilka möjligheter och begränsningar Facebook har som marknadsföringskanal, samt undersöka svenska företag och organisationers användning av Facebook i sin marknadsföring. Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ metod och vår uppsats bygger på en empirisk studie, med material från ett antal informant-, samt respondentintervjuer. Frågorna har kretsat kring vad våra informanter och respondenter anser kännetecknar Facebook, deras erfarenheter av Facebook som marknadsföringskanal, samt deras åsikter om Facebook som marknadsföringskanal i framtiden. För att få bästa möjliga svar på våra frågor ansåg vi att vi behövde intervjua personer med kunskaper om Facebook från både ett utifrån och ett inifrånperspektiv.Resultatet från vår undersökning visar att marknadsföring på Facebook inbjuder till stor kreativitet hos företagen och organisationerna.

EU: s objectives can be said to promote economic and social development within the community. These objectives will be achieved, among other things, through the establishment of a common internal market. In order to achieve a common market, where companies from different nations compete on equal conditions, it is not enough to prevent the member states from distortion of competition in the market. The free competition and thereby the advantages the common market is assumed to create, can also be limited through measures taken by companies.

Det här examensarbetet har utförts på beräkningsgruppen inom hyttutveckling, Scania CV AB i Södertälje under perioden juni-november 2007. Syftet med arbetet har varit att undersöka hur utmattningsbedömning av hyttstommen kan förbättras genom användning av så kallade virtuella skakriggar. Främst har skadan på torpedplåten i hyttens front undersökts. Dessutom har möjligheten att använda metoden som utgångspunkt för att förenkla beräkning av krafter omkring hyttupphängningen undersökts. Med den virtuella skakriggen utgår man från uppmätta accelerationer och tar med en iterativ process fram de lastsignaler i hyttens infästningspunkter som ger samma beteende hos hytten som uppmätts i prov.

In this paper I argue that the development of innovation ideas within the financial system of scientific research might have a counterpart within the financial system of the social sciences and the arts. The ideas of innovation share a common way to evaluate science in terms of how well it can contribute to economic growth. In the past two decades a similar development can be observed within Riksbankens Jubileumsfond (RJ), one of the largest external financiers of the social sciences and the arts in Sweden. The idea of evaluating research used by the innovation ideas has grown popular within RJ, only it seems they evaluate research in terms of how well it fits into an international research community rather than how much it can contribute to economic growth as is the case within the innovation ideas. By examining the different ways of financing research that RJ has used during the last 2 decades, this paper aims to introduce a new perspective in which it is possible to understand the development within this type research funding as a part of a bigger system of development..

Bakgrund När offer för samhällsvåld söker vård på akutmottagningen tenderar deras psykiska besvär att inte uppmärksammas. Dessutom uppger sjuksköterskor att de känner sig dåligt förberedda och outbildade om samhällsvåld. Syfte Att belysa upplevelser och dessa psykiska konsekvenser hos personer som utsatts för samhällsvåld. Metod Systematisk litteraturöversikt över aktuellt kunskapsläge genomfördes med nio vetenskapliga artiklar. Resultat Negativa upplevda känslor och konsekvenser för patientens fortsatta liv var frekvent förekommande bland offer för samhällsvåld.

E.ON Elnät has in their project Operational Performance developed a priority tool forconstruction and operation. The tool will help the users to increase the capability to prioritybetween new development projects and removal of faults. The tool can be seen as a measuringfor different bay?s reliability, size and the community usefulness. The result of the priority isdirectly connected to which calibration that is chosen in the tool.The priority tool is still under development and there is therefore an uncertainty about howsensitive the tool is for changes in the calibration.

Guaranteed cohabitation of elderly couples is a new law that gives elderly couples the right to live together in special housing. Even if only one of the spouses has an administrator?s decision to live in special housing. The aim of this study is to describe and understand how three municipalities materialize the social rights guaranteed for the elderly couples? cohabitation.

This study is done on behalf of Södra skogsägarna in the autumn of 2012. The main purpose of the study is to get an explanation to why some of the members are passive in their forestry, and how Södra can stimulate them to become more active. To achieve this a questionnaire study was conducted on the members of Södra in the community of Gislaved. The result of the study shows that there are many different factors that influence whether the forest owner is active or not. Examples of those factors are timber prices, the forest owner's objectives and the forest owner's financial situation. The main goal for the forest owners in the survey was to obtain high economic result and to increase the standing timber volume for the next generation.

Det här kandidatarbetet kommer framförallt att beröra filmtekniken, Matte Painting, men vi kommer även röra oss runt omkring ämnet och presentera andra delar från filmproduktionen och framförallt postproduktionen för att lättare kunna sätta Matte Painting i ett relevant sammanhang. Vi jämför Matte Painting med en teaterkuliss, en bakgrund som på nära håll eller ses från fel vinkel kan bryta illusionen av att det är en verklig miljö. Vi undersöker och presenterar hur man kan bygga upp en digitalt skapad Matte Painting som möjliggör att inte behöva åka land och rike runt efter den idealiska filmplatsen, utan kan spela in filmscenen i en studiomiljö. Vi analyserar existerande filmscener som har använt sig av Matte Painting, gör jämförelser mellan olika användningsområden för Matte Painting samt diskuterar fram en slutsats som besvarar vår frågeställning: ?Hur har utvecklingen av filmtekniken, Matte Painting, sett ut och hur kan man tillämpa en digital Matte Paint i postproduktion för att förstärka helhetsupplevelsen av en filmscen?? --- This thesis will primarily concern the film technique, Matte Painting, but we will also roam around the subject and introduce other elements of the film production, and above all post production for ease of putting Matte Painting in a relevant context.
